My daughter is 5 and has very long thick hair, but i have noticed that it is starting to thin on the top. I have been told that this because har hair is so long and needs to be cut is this true?

Im a hairdresser and im not trying to scare you but that is not true about it needing cutting,
But like has been said get it checked im sure it will be nothing to worry about,
