Your right gripe water is for babies one month and over, rang HV she said was ok im only putting a tiny bit in each bottle instead of a teaspoon, seems to have worked for now, fed him at 3.15 didnt wake till 8.00 then took 4oz fell straight back asleep. Going to have to wake him soon or he wont go down tonight.My mate also started giving her baby it at 3 weeks done him no harm.I look at it this way, if it was bad for babies they wouldnt sell it!and with the week overdue that i was he would be a month at the end of this week if born on time,its either that or i have a breakdown lol.

Kelly i have decided to try the implant for my contraception, as for sex not sure when we will have a go, im abit nervous even tho like Peanut i didnt have a vaginal delivery im still weary. Can admit though was as randy as hell the other night !!

When i was overdue i just tried to come to terms with he will come when ready, then all hell broke loose when i stopped being paranoid like i was !! ( and god i was paranoid!! lol )

No thoughts on contraception from me.. don't want to go back on the pill as I always chuck on about a stone straight away.... don't know what to try tho...

right girls get this... I managed to get Emily to sleep in her moses basket all night last night!!!
Jell spurred me on after Josh was fab for her sis!
I kind of did the baby whisperer rapid return stuff... only had to do it the first time she woke - took 1hr 10 mins to get the hint but after that went down fine, and the same after her feeds - a sooo happy

10.40pm,
2.40am
5.40am than had to wake him at 8am so i could dress and feed him but after each feed he went back down no prob or fuss and slept like a baby lol,

mw just been checked my stitches never had that done last time,healing really well she said ,uterus going back bit slow but for my 3rd she said was normal,kade had heel prick(but didnt cry)and vit k and was weighed ,he's 7lb 14oz so wot ever he lost is back on ,

been trying to ring the milk token place all morning but keep getting we are busy message driving me mad now.

i dont no wot to do about contreception as like you i put weight on with the mini pill,DONT want the coil and aint sure bout the implant ,so for now or shud i say when we do anything it will be condoms for us,

divvy loads of labour vibes hun,hope baby girl comes soon and befor induction are they gonna try a sweep again??

contraception hmmmmm not sure we never used any 4 years previous to me getting pg.
dont particularly want to use any...but i guess ill need something for a while.
im just waiting fir the hv to come.
we tried sex last night and it wasnt to bad, i was a little tense as i was scared of it hurting but it want as bad as i imagined, a few more weeks and i think ill be fully back to normal, only 2 weeks til my 6 week check!!!!!!!!!!!!!!how fast has that gone!!!!
kelly i also had my stitches checked and apparently they will check again at 6 weeks.

whats this implant thing your all on about??
i must say i wouldnt mind being pg again but maybe thats me being a bit silly. i need to let my body get back to normal and loose this 3 stone i have gained however i never had cravings when i was carryibg now tho im craving cream eggs....lol.lol

Just to let you know I am still in the land of the living (just).

Meryn sleeps for 4 hours between feeds at night, and feeds every 3-4 hours during the day. She sleeps well at night, but during the day, she falls asleep on me or on the boob and the second I put her down she is awake!!!!

The HV came last friday and weighed her, she now weighs 9lbs 1oz. She's put on a pound in just under two weeks, cant wait to see what she weighs this friday!!!

Lisa - the implant is a type of contraception... it is injected in the arm I think and slowly releases the same hormones that are in the pill etc, but over about six months. Can't believe you have tried sex!! Go you tho...!!

Hi Paula - glad to hear meryn is doing good Just a thought, but Emily certainly seems to have more awake time now during the day, so maybe meryn doesn't need to sleep as much? The Health Visitor advised us to play with her when she is like that to encourag her to be awake so she learns about night and day... hope it helps

Kelly - Congratulations on Kade being a real little person!! Did you make any more changes to the name?

Well Emily didn't do too bad last night... She had a feed at 9.30, and we put her to bed, she didn't moan at all - but was wide awake! She just laid there for ages but occasionally started moaning (fighting going to sleep).. no hissy fit like the night before tho! She refused to go to sleep until she had had her next feed - an hour early at 12.30 but then pretty much went to bed fine, and did the same at 4.30 and 8.30 this morning

So the plan tonight is to try and keep her awake this evening to wear her out (saying that she is asleep at the mo!)

no he's been registered as kade taylor john cope which is wot we sais a few days back ,wasnt it

emily is doing brill peanut well done!!

kade sleeps most of the day and at the minute it aint affecting his night time sleeping and he has upped feeds again to 4oz or there abouts.

Thanks Kelly - I keep wondering if I am doing the right thing, but it seems to be working so must be worth it! I don't mind getting up to feed her, its just the hours it was taking to settle her after!

Emily hs 4oz every 4 hours now... although occasionally she leaves a bit
