Hello ladies

I need a bit of advice really.

AF was due yesterday but absolutely nothing came and today there has been absolutely nothing.

I took a trip to the chemists in my lunch hour and bought 2 first response tests and 1 predictor.

As my AF was only due yesterday I did the first response.

I went outside with my 7 month old puppy and he must of known I was anxious as he was extremely clingy!

I went in to the bathroom where I left the test and clearly showed a BFP!

Just to make sure I did the predictor test and it showed BFN

I tehn called DH and told him and he said I must at the very early stages and to wait until the weekend to test again.

I then got the other first response and tested again and it showed within seconds BFP

Has anyone got any opinions on this

I don't know whether to get excited or not.

Does anyone have any ideas[?]

Baby dust to you all

Oh J, this sounds really good a line is a line[Big Grin]. The Predictor tests are less sensitive than the First Response so I would defo go with two BFP's[Big Grin]. Congratulations hun.

Hi J, well I'm not actively trying but you still can't help making notes. I managed to get to 12dpo this month as AF showed today, but it's been really weird as I have not had a temp drop and its really light (but bright red).

I am so chuffed for you as I think after 2 BFP's you can't argue with that.

MiaJay - Have you got propper AF yet because it may just be implantation spotting.

DH was sooo pleased last night he gave me a really big hug when I got in[Big Grin]

He told his Mum & Dad and they were really pleased.

I told my Mum that she was going to eb a grandma again and she said as long as I was happy that was all that mattered. So that was a nice reponse really.

I also told work and my boss was absolutely brilliant about it so that is really good.

Dear All,

Congratulations to all the BFP's, it's really fantastic news.

Sorry that I have not been posting I bet you think I've dropped off the planet. Well my computer broke down and I had to send it off for repair and I have only got it back today over two weeks later.

I have really missed chatting on here as my AF arrived and I felt quite alone. Also I had to do my charting manually. but never mind.

Jay Jay how are you, I hope you are still keeping that pecker up, surely all these BFP's means that there's got to be hope for us?

I am chart day 10 my cycle appears to have become a 27 one so I should OV sometime this week.

Hope to hear from you all soon.

Hi just come across this forum
Thanks for explaining all the abbreviations!!!

I had Mirena removed in July and went straight on pill to regulate periods before TTC. I now want to start and realy hope that I can get pregnant- I have 2DS and 2 D(step)S DH and I have no children together yet. Can anyone talk me through the whole charting temp fertility thing? I know my periods will be irregular so not sure how it will work.
Thanks

Hi Baby usa

You should cheak out Fertility Friend, It is an on line charting site it will give you all the info you need, it's really good especially if you have eratic cycles.

http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/

Try it, it's free for the first month.
Hope this helps.

Sorry to sound dumb, but there has been so many BFP's on the threads just recently that I have lost count..... I can't remember if any of the ladies who have recently got their BFPS++ are after Merina. If there are any of you out there can you post your good news as it gives the rest of us hope!!![Big Grin]

Jay Jay - Hope you are having a better day today. I had a read through the weight gain and merina thread the other day and it still seems to be the same old story woman after woman having problems with that blasted (am I allowed to say that?) coil [xx(].

Dear LadyKhalan,

Try not too worry too much. If you read this thread there are lots of ladies who have conceived and very quickly too! [Big Grin]

The Merina web site states that fertility returns to normal immediately they are the experts so I guess we have to believe them.

Myself and a few of the other ladies are not too friendly with the merina as we had health problems on it, however being forever the optimist for as many of us that there has been problems there are as many who love the merina.

This string is just to support the many ladies on their journey of trying to conceive. We are a friendly bunch and try to answer any questions that are asked, but we can only advise through personal experience or what other ladies say. This is by no means a medical advice service!!!! We have a giggle and vent frustrations so it is a good place when you've not had a good day or if the old which catches you. If you are new to the strings if you read the TTC and 2WW and I think this one aswell there is a list of the abbreviations that we use, it will all make more sense once you know what everyone is talking about!

Good luck and welcome.

Babydust all around

Hi I'm Lucy H I am 31 and had my mirena out in June(thank god!!) Have been ttc since then and getting really down about it. I already have a daughter and the age gap is getting bigger and bigger. I am using Ovulation testing kits this month as I am not sure that I am ovulating although I am getting periods? As you can probably tell I am really confused by the whole thing! My D H is great and tells me to relax but its starting to be all i can think about!! I have also started to take 50mg of B6 this month to sort out my hormones. Sorry to go on but just need to talk to someone in the same situation.

Love Lucy [:I][:I]
