So far so good. Thanks for checking in!

Nausea comes and goes... it's ... well. Ugh. That's the best way I can put it.

I'm still worried, but I'm trying to take it one day at a time. Each day that passes, my odds improve however slight they may be!

Congratulations Elusive and Katyee, you must be so excited about your BFP's. I am also ttc again but am taking things really slowly, giving my body time to recover from having the Mirena out. I had my Mirena taken out on 21st August 2008 and I have had three cycles since that time so am hoping that my uterus lining has rebuilt itself. Dont worry too much, try and put yourself in a frame of mind where you dont stress yourself out during this precious time. All the best xxx

Hi everyone! I am new here and wondering if anyone has experienced what I have. Here is my story...

Had Mirena inserted in Sept. 2004 after my son was born. Had some side effects (MAJOR weight gain and total loss of period). In late 2007 I noticed I would be spotting all the time with it so I finally had it taken out in April 2008. After not getting a period for a few months (with the exception of initial bleed after removal) Dr. put me on promentium to bring on bleed in June. I had an odd cycle in July (spotting 2 days then 3-4 days of normal cycle). Took temps all month and I o'd found out I was preg in early August but miscarried at 7w. Here I am 3 cycles later, I have not charted as I wanted to wait on TTC a few months to get my cycle and myself back to normal. However, I am still having the spotting before. Also, my period is only lasting 4 days including the 2 of spotting. They are 28-29 days apart from 1st day of spotting one month to 1st day of spotting the next. I was always a 5-7 day kind of girl before all of this. I am only 29 and hope this is not perimenopause. Has anyone else had this issue?

Sorry for the novel and congrats to all of the BFP!!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

I had mine out in Aug after 5+ years. My cycle started spontaneously one month later and has been regular ever since. It is considerably lighter, shorter and I have less symptoms (pms, sore breasts, cramping...) than I had before insertion. I was also a 6-7 day girl, but am now a 4-5 day girl (1-2 of those are spotting).

Thanks for the response. I am glad to see I am not the only one that has been lighter and shorter. I think the spotting before hand is what has me a little concerned (low progesterone?) coupled with the m/c in August. Do you have any spotting before hand?

Hi Everyone, I am new to this site, I have been reading everyone's stories over the last couple of weeks and have decided to join and spread some encouragement. I had the mirena for 10 years, no periods or side effects. It has been 17 years since the birth of my last child (I'm 38). I had the coil removed on 9th oct 2008, a 3 day bleed on the 12th 0ct 2008 and a BFP on the 14th nov 2008!!!! I was expecting to have a few cycles at least before I fell pregnant because your body and cycle changes as you get older anyway and on top of the fact that I have been fill it full of hormones. A word of warning about the websites which track your temp and signs to predict ovulation - don't rely on them. They recorded me as ovulating late, at the time they say I ovulated I wasn't doing the BD as I was just too tired and my breast were just too sore, I was already pregnant and If I had relied on this I would have missed the boat!! I just wanted to share my story with everyone in the hope that it gives those who are waiting for a BFP some hope and encouragement.

Baby dust in abundance to all xx

Ice Princess, yes I do get light pink spotting 1-2 days pre-menstruation since removal. I don't start counting my day one of my cycle until I get full flow though. I never even thought that the spotting may not be normal since my cycle (temps) seem to be pretty classic and easy to decipher.

Nikkkki, congrats on your pregnancy!! I also noticed that some ovulation predictor sites seem WAY off. I've been lucky as my temps have definite drops and rises with ovulation, but no baby yet. Maybe this month, fingers crossed.

arrgghh!! Been temping, usually I have a definite dip with a big rise around day 14. This month my temps dipped, and have stayed very low for past 3 days (15,16,17) with watery/ewcm today and yest. What the hell?! Just when you think you got it all timed out, mother nature messes with ya... Hope this month isn't a bust.

Thanx Nikkkki, time will tell. I should know by x-mas. I was hoping on this month cause in Jan and feb hubby will be away for trade school and will only be home weekends, which may throw a kink into this whole baby-making plan!!!
