SJ just catching up with posts at long last and just to let you know I got my BFP first month on Clomid too - you are so lucky getting clomid from just having blood tests too! I had all kinds of horrible internals to go through first Red Face

Good luck and keep up the PMA. My nurse said to me when I was on clomid and about to OV "Go home and seduce your husband tonight, tomorrow and the next day just to make sure"!! And it worked, so here's hoping, eh

love

Hi Lorraine, Mantha,Crumble,Cludgie,Emily,AnaB & Looocy !! How are you all ?

Looocy - You are right about me getting clomid so quickly but that is beacuse I've had 2 op's to remove endometriosis from my bladder. Eeker
I have an excellent Gynie so i guess on that score I am very lucky but saying that I'm in Bupa and have done it all through that, hence having blood test and getting Clomid in 2 weeks.

My first op was last June when I had the size of a tennis ball removed. Simple stuff like having a wee ( TMI) and trying to BD was mission impossible to say the least.
My second op was approx 10 weeks ago and i was in hopstial for a week, endo was removed from my bladder again !! I just felt lucky that it wasn't on my overies or tubes.

Hopefully I'm on the mend and fingers crossed that I could be as lucky as you eh first month BD.

I started my progesterone tablets yesterday and have to take them for a week. After that AF should show up and then i can start the clomid!!

Thanks so much for your support and taking time to post back for me, its been a massive help.

Love to all SJ xx

Hi Ladies

It has been nice to read all your experiences so far.
I am new to this so firstly, can some one tell me what BFP and AF stand for?!! Roll Eyes I got the overall gist but it would be great to know for sure!!

I hope you will be able to help me.

I am 15 days late today, done 6 pregnancy tests - all negative. GP said to see him if no change by the end of the week.

I have been sick once, had a nose bleed (unheard of for me and a early sign apparently?), and felt nauseas (to start with, not anymore). I have a butterfly feeling in my stomach (but could be excitement) but have no other symptoms. It is driving me insane, i don't know what to do. I really needed some hayfever medicine this weekend as i was really suffering but didn't take any - just in case.

I just want this to be over one way of the other so i can get on with life!!

Any pointers would be hugely apreciated

Thanks girls

Hi Girlies,

I've had my scan !!!

I'm totally gutted , not a single egg !! There is nothing going on at all !!

I'm just sick of hearing about this whole baby stuff !!

He just told me to take 100mg of clomid next month and that my period probably won't start by itself either so I'll need some more progesterone tablets.

I just feel like TTC is so far out of my reach !!

I hope you all are okay !! xx

Hi everyone

SJ - i feel like i am going through everything you have just been through.

AF is now 24 days late and still negative HPT. Got a blood test results from my Dr today. All hormones are normal but "the hospital no longer test for HCG". My Dr told me that it is very unlikley i am pregnant now and that the HPT are very accurate.

He has now referred me to a gynae to have a possible laporoscopy to see if everything is ok and he told me the consultant may then give me clomid.

I never thought it would all be this difficult. I have never missed a period and i am not particulary stressed. I have read so many enteries about woman having negative tests up until 2 months late and now i have not even been able to confirm this with my blood test.

I guess i will just have to wait and see what the hospital say. The 1st appointment i could get is not until the 12th July so till then i have to just wait.

I have had endometriosis removed before about 5 years ago so i am wondering if this is causing any problems?

It is really nice to have you all to speak to - thanks everyone

Hi Josa,

Yes, I know just how you feel. Like you have pointed out its like my storey all over again. I think that your Dr could be right thou I'm sorry to say. HPT are usually spot on and after 24 days something must show up if you were PG perhaps.

I was just like you testing all the time, back and forth to the Dr. Praying that some goods news would show up. Isn't it awful going thru this.

Hey, but at least you have been refered to see a consultant to get it all sorted which is really good. July 12th will soon be here.

Just like you i never thought for one min that it wuld be so hard. I feel like its completely taking over my life and there are loads of girls at work who are PG and it seems to be all anyone ever talks about.

The main thing is that we don't stress overselves out too much because i really don't think thats helping us. I know it sure is easier said than done !!! Roll Eyes

Please keep me posted. It really is nice to have someone to share this with.

Fingers crossed for all of us who are TTC and loads of baby dust xx

HI SJ

Sorry to hear you are down but please try and be positive. The fact you have a diagnosis and a treatment plan is very optomistic. Also i Ov'd on 100g of clomid so you just have to find what works for you. Another tip is not to despair if you dont ovulate after 2 weeks. When i took clomid i was doing ovulation sticks near cd 14/15 etc and really disapointed that it had not worked and was really upset. Then on cd 21 i got a bit of ewcm and bd with DH and turns out that i ov'd then cos i was preg 2 weeks later!
I also had reflexology which i think helped.
Anyways just wanted to try and boost your PMA because i recognise the feelings you describe about ttc being out of reach etc I really did not think it would happen and it did.

take care SJ and keep in touch

AnaB
