Hi,
I am 8 weeks pregnanct. I have had a miscarriage earlier.I am getting itchy vaginal discharge which looks yellowish on my panties and white/ creamy when fresh. i have been noticing light pink spots with my discharge-- though just twice or thrice. they r very small. but i am getting my fears about them.Vaginal smear was examined 4 weeks ago and results says i am clear of urinary infection.Please advice me on wht my symptoms r telling me and wht i have to do about them?

I have had this pretty much for half of my pregnancy and like you got checked out for any infection and they came back clear. I have just been using canesten and also femme pads which you can purchase from Mothercare, you put in the freezer and it basically reduces any swelling you may have.

See the doctor to rule out any infection; it sounds a bit like thrush to me.

I think vaginal irritation is fairly common in pregnancy though, so it may be something you're just going to have to put up with unfortunately :-( Invest in some canesten cream to relieve the itching; avoid using any scented products in the area; wear cotton underwear and avoid tight underwear and clothing. These things should help a bit.
