Hi Jules Sorry to bother you agian... Please could you read this copy of my last post on the may thread and perhaps give me your opinion. **What a night I had, I was woken at abour 2am with really bad pains in my tum I was rolling around in pain, after about 5 mins when i had woken up slightly more I realised they felt like real contractions, I woke Craig and told him what was happening - they were coming and going but not regular, and after about 1 hour they eased off. But there is a big but here - when I was in true labour with Liam, Craig asked me what the pain was like, and 'MY' experience was that they felt like really bad 'food poisioning' cramps that you get - so I am wondering if that was the case - BUT I have no pain today, and if that is what it was surely I would have a dodgey tum today when I eat - but nothing........Oh and I had period pains and back ache aswel......** Hope that makes sense!!!! Julie, did your have any vaginal loss? Are babys movements ok? If so I would suggest if it happens again, then you should contact your hospital labour suite just to check. It is possible that it could have been contractions, its not an upset stomach else it would have lasted longer than an hour, and you don't get back pain with that either. Hope this helps Regards Jules

Hi Jules The soreness seems to be on the inside left possibly nearer to my cervix than vagina. I don't seem to be dry during intercourse as we use KY jelly. The extra piece seems to be near to the outside of my vagina on the left side, whereas I am sure they stitched the right hand side. Sorry about this, I guess I need to investigate it before popping to the doctor's but they always seem to bluff me off. Thanks again Becky

Becky, Yes have a look, use a mirror, or if your DH and you don't mind, investigate together. I don't know why it would be sore that far up? Hope you get it resolved. Jules

Teri, I can understand your concerns but you and your friends bodies are totally different to each other and you cannot compare. Loads of luck for Friday. Best wishes Jules

Hi Jules,
Hope all is going well for you. Just after a bit of advice. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and have got no symptoms at all. I had everything under the sun with my first baby, bad sickness constantly, tired, sore boobs. This time I feel fine though. Now I'm worried that as I don't feel the same as before, I'm going to miscarry. They do say theres a higher incidence of miscarriage when you don't have morning sickness. Can you help put my mind at rest?
Thanks kerry e

Kerry, They also say that you must be carrying a differnt sex to your first if you are feeling different? Think positive that you are not feeling yukky. It does not mean you are going to miscarry because you are not feeling anything. When I was having twins, I didn't feel anything and they say you can feel really ill in the beginning. Don't worry until you have to, just enjoy not being ill. Best wishes Jules

Hi Jo, They are not braxton hicks if you are feeling any pain, it sounds like practice contractions. Yes it is normal, you will find that this could go on for about a week before going into labour, or you could go into labour at any time. When you have them, you could carry on walking around, this can encourage them to continue and get you started with more regular ones. Good luck, won't be long now. Jules

Jo, They will become more intense and last longer and won't stop. Until finally they are regular say every 3-5 minutes lasting a 40-60 seconds, you will probably be in proper labout then. Best wishes Jules

Thanks Jules. It's always good to have reassurance. I'm such a worrier! I did another pregnancy test yesterday, a week after the first one, just to make sure and the line still took ages to come up and is faint as it was after i tested the first time. Does this mean my HCG levels aren't going up. I've got myself all in a panic now!

Kerry, I suggest you either wait another week, or just go and get one of the tests that says pregnant or not pregnant, at least it will tell you in words and may reassure you more. Best wishes Jules
