Hi Liz, If you have had a period then you should start to become more regular, every fourish weeks, but sometimes it can be a little hit and miss in the first few months after delivery. I'm afraid its a case of see what happens, there is no guarentee on your period now being regular or not, its just a general commment that usually after the first one or two they become back to normal. Best wishes Jules x
Jo thanks so much hun. xxx Jules xxx
Mantha, 2/5 engaged means that if you imagine the babys head devided into five, then two parts of the five is in the pelvis. So that means 3 parts are still out of the pelvis, but it saying that, that is good as in my experience you can only get 3/5 engaged prior to actual labour, so you are in a good postition at the moment. Best wishes Jules x

Liz thats ok, if you have bled on and off then there is a good chance you have already had a period, so I would guess probably you should have one in around 4 weeks time. Best wishes Jules x

Jess, its so difficult to say, I'm not an expert on very early pregnancy and tests, but the HCG blood test should show it rising, not up and down, I wouldn't like to make guesses, what have they said as a follow up for you? Are they going to scan you? They could scan you at weeks to find out whats going on. Keeping everything crossed for you hun. Julesx
my cousin is now 11 weeks 3days and is doing ok now she got pregnant with twins, but one was very weak the other was very healthy and a good size they told her the weaker one wouldnt make the week and gave her a second scan appt for the following week when she went the weaker baby had died but the healthy one was still doing fantastic altho she hasnt lost the weaker baby out of he yet is this normal? will it come away when she gives birth? im very worried for her as shes worrying too, shes getting on for 35 and she knows this is her last chance as she cant afford to do ivf again, to say shes got so far already is that a good sign?

hi jules, Im wondering if you could give me advice? Im nearly 22 weeks pregnant, and have been feeling movement for around 4-5 weeks now. It started off with tapping, and then for the past 2 weeks it has been much much sronger, dp could feel it. Plus it would be active first thing in the morning while im having brekkie, and throughout the day frequently. But yesterday and today, the movements have become tiny and weak, like the tapping from 5 weeks ago, and have only felt about 5 taps in total each day, rather than tons every couple of hours.. Should this be anythin to worry about, or am I over reacting? Also, since a few weeks ago ive been getting funny uncomfortable feelings all of a sudden low in my uterus, as if the baby lies on something. it was mildly uncomfortable at first, but now I find I have to stand up and walk about to try get it to move, or go on all fours and rock for a minute. I dont think its my bladder, as it never makes me want to pee. Its not painful either, just uncomfortable. What could it be?? Thanks for your time, any help would be greatly appreciated xxx michelle xx
Hi Jules, I just want to ask something similar to Mantha....
As of Thursday I was 1/5 engaged. Once a baby is engaged can it become 'unengaged' at all? This baby has been very free for 35 weeks (it was really high) so I was so pleased to see a drop. I have an appointment next thursday and I really hope it has dropped further as i have had quite a few BHs that are fairly painful. Should i be disappointed if not or is 1/5th still good progress? I am sure it is but I have had a horrendous pregnancy and I am so looking forward to meeting this little one I am feeling anxious. BTW, this is my second baby.
Thanks in advance.

Wondered if you could help please. I'm 6 weeks 3 days pregnant with my first baby and I'm 39yrs old, when I went to register with my new doctors the nurse did a general health check and made arrangements for the local Antenatal Unit to contact me and said they may offer me the CVS test. I've read a little about it on the internet but just wondered what your thoughts were on the test?
