Good evening ladies Amy, Sezzywelsy and Angel: Thankyou so much for wishing us ladies well. I cant believe you ladies all have your babies already and your moving on, its making it all the more real that very soon we will have our babies. Scary but exciting. Good luck in the future and I for one will be stalking you for advice xMichie: Bless you chick for your kind comment on my parenting. You really touched me with that. As parents we always try to do our best and its so nice to be told we are doing a good job, it really means alot so thankyou :-) (everytime I try and put a smiley in it keeps erasing half of the blinkin paragraph grrrrrrr) How did your shopping trip go today? Have you noticed a difference in how tired you get after just a short time? lol. Petal: Yayyyyy for finishing decorating. I hope you and your dp get to spend some quality time together before baby arrives, and yes it will be lovely for you both when there are 3 in the bed :-) Feeling the baby have hiccups is a strange feeling isnt it?! mine has them every evening without fail lol. Curvalicious: I hope you have a lovely day/evening on monday :-) Shenex: I hope you have a lovely few days with your dp, bet you cant wait for that plane to touch down. Instead of slippers for hospital this time around ive gone with slippers socks, have you tried them before? they are comfy and take up less space in the bag :-) Pollyanna and Mandy: Hope all continues to be well :-) 37weeks arrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh and do you know something else we worked out recently (abit slow on this one I can blame preg brains....dont know about dp lol) its my ds birthday on tues and then 2 weeks later its my bday and bubs is due!!! just 2wks later arrrggghhh. To read amy,sezzys and angels posts this evening has made me really teary (you wouldnt believe how long its taken me to type this through teary eyes) I woke up at 4:02am and was unable to get back to sleep so im really surprised im still up now but I dont feel tired at all, well maybe a little! Are you ladies waking up thinking about the birth yet? I think thats what it is with me and once I start thinking about baby related things I just cannot sleep! Just noticed the time and dc are still up so better get them in bed.....hols or no hols lol. Night all xx

hi girls! firstly thanks amy, sezzy and angel for the well wishes, im poopin my pants tough now lol!! Petal...yay to finishing decorating  i still have to get sitting room and kitchen done, ill be happy then In the evenings i get back left rib/shoulder blade pain. its in my front ribs very slightly too. its very uncomfortable  i looked it up and it looks like its babys legs pushing up on the ribs that side...as thats the way he is lying. his back is down my right hand side. a massage helps, but dp isnt too good at them bless him! he does try though I feel hiccups at the bottom right hand side of my tummy each evening (like jo ) last night i could feel it in my bottom too  Shenx...thats dreadful that social services will check on you if you need help!! is it financial help you were enquiring about, or physical help? i know that if you were in southern Ireland you would be entitled to Lone Parents Benefit, maybe rent supplement, and would be put on the housing list. And if you worked part time you could keep the lone parents benefit, plus get a family income supplement. I had to get it all for a year, when I was a single mum with ds.i didnt get a house or rent supplement though, as i worked part time. I bet you cant wait for your fella to arrive, i hope youse have a great time Jollyjo....bless you being teary!! Yes i did loads of shopping, but felt like i needed bed at 6pm!! ive just realised i have about 30 vests lol!! i forgot i had some already ha! i got lovelt towels in Pennies (Primark), one with a monkey, and one with a giraffe. so cute! dp loved looking at the clothes, he was amazed the baby will be so small! In ireland we get a voucher off the hospital for a gift pack, so i collected it today, it had loads of samples in it which was great! perfect to bring to the hospital! I packed my labour bag, and my hospital bag....gosh its getting so real now!! I would have bought slipper socks if i had thought of it, i bought ugg boot style slippers, white with pink and yellow spots,soooo comfy but not space friendly for the bag lol!! im loving the nighties and pj bottoms i got, Pennies has some real bargains I got everyting on my list, except more hats...i forgot them  oh, and i think of the birth 24/7 now, but i think im more confident and organised this time. right, im going to leave it at that, as the pain in my shoulder blade and ribs is really getting to me now night night girls xxxxxx

Good afters, Michie: Lol when I read your post about online shopping, yesterday I did an ASDA food shop and it took me about 2 hours to find everything I would usually buy its being delivered on monday. Hopefully there wont be any problems with it and then it'll be online food shopping for us all the way lol especially with a lil one arrivering soon it'll be sooooooo much easier  I was sooooooo tired yesterday, again the last 2 mornings in a row ive woken up at 4:00am and not been able to get back to sleep and yesterday I was in bed for 7ish but I woke up again this morning around 4am so very tired again today other than that all is well. My cousin (expecting twins) had her 4d scan today and they've found out its 2 boys waiting for them to bring the dvd round I hope everyone is well and enjoying the dry weather. Hi Jo!! yeah, it will be online shopping for us all the way too!! i forgot to order a couple of small things, but I will get the swing of it Its really handy!!! It always looks like less when it arrives lol!! We are going to softplay in a while, dp is hungover, so its just me and ds today.men cant deal with hangovers lol!! He rarely goes out, so ill get him something nice to cheer him up, maybe a takeaway later chat later xxx

Happy Sunday all!! It's really weird, I did a long post on Friday, but it's not here!!!!! Was basically saying... hope you're all ok... thanks to July/Aug girls for the good wishes... I spent yesterday in London having my hair done and being spoilt by my parents - it was lovely! Think that'll be my last trip to London before bubs arrives, though. I had LOADS of B Hicks yesterday, so am wanting to stick near home and hospital now!! I seem to have an increase in discharge too - some v clear and mucous like. Bubs still v active, so I'm not sure if it has moved down yet (my bump has always been low). I am seeing the GP on Tues, so I'm hoping for an update on position!! It is really hitting me that bubs could come ANY time now!! I would love to hold on till 1st Sept - but who knows!!! The suspense is killing me!! Am still swimming, which feels great. hi girls, sorry to crash yr thread but was just over on bumples and saw that michie is 34 wks so thought i'd pop over and see how petal and jo are doing too! petal/jo - omg girls! 37 wks, i seriously can't believe it it only seems like yesterday that you got yr bfps!! does it seem to have gone quickly for you? will definitely be keeping my eye on you lot, won't be long before yr babies are here - so exciting! good luck and very best wishes to you all, Lisajane xxx

Hi everyone. Well I've had a busy couple of days, The girls have had birthday parties to go to and eldest dd got her gcse results, which she did brilliantly in. Been to see midwife on thursday. All is well. she still keeps telling me bubs is a nice size, not too big. so have just bought a load of newborn babygrows off ebay just in case. I'm quite relieved I've still got 5 or 6 weeks still to go. just wish the heartburn would go away, its getting really bad at time. once it wakes me up, I have awful trouble getting back to sleep. I love internet shopping too, had a tesco one delivered yday. too. Petal, glad all is well. Likewise to michie and jo. and everyone else I've missed. Hi girls! Firstly thanks lisajane for popping over your not that far behind us love!! you lot are next!! 25 weeks wow, isnt time flying!!!! Petal...oooh, it seems your body is getting ready!!!! i got some af type pains a while ago, had to go lie down!! they were quite intense, but not in contractions, it was 1 constant pain for an hour, which got worse if bubs moved. It wasnt agony though. I knew it wasnt labour, but it dawned on me bubs can come at any moment really!! when he turned from breach I had a similar feeling, so maybe he was getting more into position?? Im kinda tinking this labour might be a bit different from the last one. Last time I had af cramps up untill around 5 months, I gather it might have been my uterus stretching for the 1st time. Then when labour started, I got af cramps irregularly for a few hours, then they got regular. when i got to hospital, they said I was just in early labour at that stage. Im wondering if it happened that way because it was the 1st time my body went through labour? Im thinking maybe I wont get so much notice this time, as i rarely felt af type cramps this time, just with bubs changing position from breech etc. Any advice from Jo, and Mandy? Did you find diffences in the onset of your second labour? Mandy...sorry about your heartburn what do you take for it? I have galviscon, but hate it, so I stick to Rennies. I leave some beside the bed, but it seems to have calmed down again. I wake up from a full bladder, then stagger to ensuite for a pee, then my bladder hurts after I empty it , then when i lie back down on my other side, its like my bump doesnt like changing positions quickly, and it hurts untill it settles to the other side...iykwim. And my back kills my in the morning from whatever way i sleep. Omg, i sooo want to sleep on my belly!!!lol Does any one else think the baby's kicks are more like jabs into sore parts of the body now?? lol!! most of bubs big movements make me yelp now!!omg i hope that doesnt mean he's huuuuge lol!! well, thats me for now..... will be on in the morning xxxx when Ill be 35 weeks
