hey all... Am not long in... Consultant was a bit useless but aw well.. Baby is doing well, Weighing approx 2.9kg which i think is like 6pnds 3oz or there abouts. If all goes well and i deliver normally i have to have an injection for five days to make sure i dnt develop a clot. But if I ave a c-section it would have to be 6 wks, so lets hope i have a normal delivery. Thankgod i had my mum in with me, as he was trying to rush the appointment and i wouldnt have known what to do when i go into labour lol as booking m/w didnt tell me at the time. The baby kept moving when he was trying to take measurements so it was rather humorous. Except all that prodding meant that bubs moved into the most uncomfortable position and has been like that since. My little sis is collecting her gcse results tomorrow.. so will have to make a wee fuss over her.. especially as she has been so good to me since i have moved back home, helping me put my shoes on and helpin to get house ready to move into. AS well as putting up with several mood swings. Petal i am so happy to hear that bubs has turned. I bet ur delighted. Michie a pj day jst sounds class... im thinkin bout havin a pamperin day on friday before i collect the other half from airport. Try to get myself lookin a bit pretty lol well as pretty as i can get when the size of a house. Erm pregnancy brain again ave forgotton all the posts but i did have fun reading them. I was just wondering if any1 can tell me what i should definately have in my hospital bag that may not be on the list... I also cannot decide on what to wear for labour? any1 got ny tips im so naive, i have looked at front opening nighties and they are all very long, i can imagine them getting in the way.... so i was wondering if i tried to get a cheap x-large mans shirt. I tell you what trying to sort a house out in the middle of a lot of appointments really isnt easy. Oh cnt wait till andy **** over on friday, im lookin 4ward to a big arsed hug. aparently hes guna be spoiling me as well cus its me bday nxt wk and he wont be here for it. Is it jst me or does it seem crazy that were on the last few weeks. I feel like ive been pregnant forever, yet like it has gone really quick. lol does that make sense? Ok i really have waffled on take care everyone and hopefully next time ill be less self centred

morning all!! im looking forward to my shopping trip today!! this morning before dp got up to work, ds came in to our bed to say hi, and dp said won't it be lovely when theres 4 in the bed in the mornings!! aw! i cant wait!!! Shenx...my consultant is useless to, i never got told the approx weight of baby, or asked about the birth, im always rushed at th appointment. but i wont let that happen on the next one, ive tons of questions!! 6 weeks is a long time staying after a c-section, it must be because of your condition?? sorry if i sound dumb i hope you dont need one xxxx dont forget your camera and batteries in your hospital bag, and a snack. dont forget the snack!! i did, and i ran out of energy just when i needed it. even if you dont feel like eating...eat!! i went into labour at around 6am with ds, and had him at half 9 that night, and didnt eat because i wasnt in any mood to eat. after i gave birth i couldnt even hold ds because i couldnt lift my arms, and could barely keep my eyes open as it was too much energy. when i ate something, some energy came back. So bring a light snack that would give you energy.Oh and a large t-shirt is fine for birth xx well, im off to do the chart, then have boiled eggs and toast yumm!!

Sorry i just saw your other post, i am fine and have no names as yet, today is my last antenatal class so will start drafting my birthplan next week. Monday is my 1 year wedding anniversary but we didn't travel because of the pregnancy. I am sooo counting down. isn't it funny that no matter how much shopping you do you always find there is something else you've yet to buy.

Hi all, I'm back again! It's been so nice having loads of friends round before the big day!! We have just finished decorating our house, so it looks great - well, it will do until little one arrives!! But it will all be worth it! Jo - that teddy bear idea is so lovely!! Your dc must be so excited!! It must make it all v real knowing the sex and the name of the baby. I get backache in the evening too - kind of mixed with period pain. In terms of sanitary towels, I have bought a few packs of maternity ones and a pack of night ones. DH has instructions to get more if needed!! I have NO idea what I'm in for!! Michie - how did the baby shopping go? It sounds like you and Jo both do loads of lovely things with your children. Mylo is a really cute name! I love it! How cute for your DP to say it'll be lovely to have 4 of you in the bed! I can't wait for 3!! Mandy - how is your little one with the missing tooth? What a little soldier! I get really uncomfy in the eve. I don't think my bump has dropped yet, so I have a little bottom and kicks in my ribs!! Curvalicious - Happy 1 year anniversary for Monday! Yes, I agree, there's always something more to buy!! Shenx - sorry your consultant wasn't so helpful. I got a couple of nighties from Tesco for labour (2 for £5) They have vest sleeves, as I've been told it gets really hot in labour! Also, if one gets ruined it doesn't really matter as they're so cheap. Waving hi to Pollyanna. How are you? Kate - thanks for handing over the baton!! AGH!!!!!!! Is it really our turn?!!!! All fine here. It was really weird as bubs got hiccups last night and I could feel them really low down, iykwim!!!!! I feel really "full of baby" - and ready for it to arrive, but a bit nervous of the birth as well! I know I am on the brink of my life changing forever and it's both a scary and wonderful thought!! I just feel we're playing the waiting game now... Am swimming with the NCT crew tomorrow, then my mum and dad are coming up and we're watching a play, then I'm off to London with them to have my hair done on Saturday. Am a little nervous about staying away from home for a couple of nights, just in case anything happens.... Have been doing loads of cooking and have nearly filled the freezer! Still haven't tackled the cupboards yet, as it's really uncomfy to bend!!! Ok - off to do some paperwork - yawn!!! Take care all, Pxx

hey hows all? i came back home to do a load of washing. 1 load has been on 4 2hrs. its startin to annoy me now. I got m/w apt for tuesday. Im hopin they wil be more helpful this time. I 4got to ask consultant if i cud b/f with being on that injection. I jst remembered today, but u wud think he wud have told me one way or the other. I had got in touch with a social worker to find out if i was entitled to any help. Turns out if i need a bit of help that chid services may get involved. They may decide im incompetent as a mother. thats if i ask for the help, my god the system is screwed up. (sorry it sorta has me worrying) I keep 4gettin to buy slippers, ive been out shoppin several times and each time i have forgotten slippers lol and i genuinly dnt own a pair either. i wonder if my sis will let me borrow hers haha. michie thats so sweet, i think if my fella said nethin like that id cry, (am very emotional at the min) Hes flyin in tomorrow nite for a few days so i probly will cry when i c him, n then cry again when he leaves. I wont have to stay in hospital to get the injection ill jst have to learn to give it too myself and consultant didnt tell me netin really, everything i know is frm reading the notes, ahh jo 37 weeks you cud go netime now... i wonder which of us will go first, im gettin excited now, but i want bubs to stay put untill EDD!!!! if only it was that simple eh. petal it is really wierd when ye can feel hiccups low down, last nite i felt as tho the baby was guna jst drop out, i cud feel so much pressure in the old vaginal area, ( i really dont like that word) However the babys head hasnt engaged yet as in consultant notes i seen the word free so im guessin that means it hasnt engaged. Enjoy ur swimming, and your weekend. It is nice to still be doing things as it stops u feeling like ur jst waiting the whole time. Okay ive got lost in what im writing here i really have turned into a babble.
