Sorry I havent been on, ive had problems getting onto this site

Welcome back curvacious........I hope you are feeling well in your pregnancy

Michie: I hope you manage to get some more good nights kip. I can sleep really well for 3/4 nights and then I have broken sleep for a couple of nights usually waking up about 4am! Its interesting you saying about being able to feel a breech baby turn. Im sure mine was breech and I had a full day of feeling very heavy and uncomftable and I was asking other mums if it was possible I was feeling baby turn and they all said yes, then when I went to my antenatal she told me he is now head down fingers crossed he turns for you

Petal: Good morning How are you finding your new found lease of life (maternity leave lol)?? It was my last day of childminding on thursday and although I felt relief I was also quite sad. The lil girls surprised me yesterday by bringing me flowers choc and a lovely card as soon as I shut the front door after they left I was crying I also need to get my hospital bits put together and I desperatly need some mat bras as im starting to feel very top heavy.

I had the biggest telling off by my 4yr son, dp and mother yesterday/evening......nearly reduced me to tears but im a wicked sulker so just slumped off on my own basically I had babys wardrobe delivered and because im a virgo I like for things to be done NOW not later! so I ended up carting the contents of the boxes (I did open them and carry everything up which took about 1/2hour) and built and rearranged ds bedroom on my own It did absolutly kill me to be honest and just goes to show how much pregnacy takes out of you but seeing it almost finished (new bunkbeds arriving on monday but I darent even attempt to help with those) is such a good feeling so today (fingers crossed the sun will be shining) I will be washing ALL baby clothes, ironing them and putting them in his new blue wardrobe

Petal: Have you being feeling babys foot or other body parts sticking out of your tum? some days we can and its soooo strange. If dd prods on certain parts of my tum he'll just stick his foot right out it gets the kids in stitches

Okay feels like ive written an essay so i'd better go, got a busy day ahead today.

Morning all!! (oops, It's technically afternoon again!!)

Hope you're all enjoying this lovely sunshine - finally! I'm going to pop to the supermarket in a mo, buy some non bio and join Jo in the baby clothes washing!

Have already been shopping twice today!! Once at 6am !!! to the Next sale!!! Got bubs some really nice bits and me some pjs/nighties I can wear to feed. I know it was madness going so early, but I was awake, so I thought, why not!! Can have a nice snooze this afternoon!

Also, went to M&S and they have got 2 nursing bras for £12 instead of £25!!! One black, one white! Wasn't sure which size to go for, so got 2 sizes and can take them back if not right (you have 90 days). You can also get them online, if you're interested...

Michie - let's hope these cheeky breech babies of ours turn soon! What are you up to this weekend?

Jo - you are under strict instructions to take it easy!!! No wonder you're shattered!! I had to pack up my whole classroom at the end of term and it nearly finished me off!! Know what you mean about wanting things done, though!! And yes, I can see "bits" of bubs stick out of my bump!! It's quite surreal!

Hi girls!
had a lovely day yesterday, brought ds swimming Im hoping baby got a chance to turn around while I was in the pool, because i really dont want a c-section, no way! I was cramping all day yesterday, maybe that was him turning?
Jo...oh my goodness slow down woman! lol!! I do understand though, as we mums to be want to have the house nice for the new arrival We will be paining all downstairs soon , but it will be mostly dp lol! I do see bubs feet or hands sticking out, I cant quite figure out which is which though
Petal...our mothercare has a great sale, tons of things 50% off! But I had gone in for a swim suit, and they wernt on sale ah well, still worth it! Had a great time in the pool I dont know if our next had a sale, I must have a look. and M&S, as I definitely need nursing bras.

Sounds like you had a great time at the pool, Michie! I am really loving my aquanatal, but I only have one (or poss 2) more session(s) as I am on hols next week and then it stops for August - boo hiss. I really want to keep up the swimming, though, as I love being in the water and feel it is nice for bubs too!
Great bump you've got btw, Michie!!

Jo - hope you've been taking it easy this weekend? Are the bunkbeds up? Bet you'll love the feeling of waking up to no work tomorrow morning! I do!!

Hi Mandy and Curvalicious! Hope you're well?

I've been feeling very lethargic of late, but had a bit more energy today and have been cooking (chilli, coffee cake, pesto with basil from the garden etc)and cleaning. Am going to pack my case for hols now, then bath and bed!

Does anyone else find they can just drop off at the drop of a hat?! I am really snoozy at the mo!

Oh - and bubs was really quiet this morning, which really freaked me out!! Has made up for it this pm!! I love it SOO much already!!

How are you all today?
Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine? It's gorgeous here - let's just hope it's as nice in Cornwall, as that's where I'm heading tomorrow with my family!! Hooray!!
Just thought I'd pop on quickly, as I won't be posting again till Sat/Sun.

Have had a lovely cuddle with my friend's 10 week old baby today - gorgeous!! Can't wait for our little bundle to arrive!! (though not too soon!!)

We have NCT tonight and I really am enjoying the classes. It's a great way for DH to be involved too. Tonight, we're talking about second stage labour and breast feeding amongst other things!! Last week, we all had a chance to get in a birth pool (empty!!), try out birthing balls, DHs got to try helpful massage techniques in early labour and we saw photos of the hospital rooms. All v helpful and good fun!!

Right, off to make pizza - hope you're all well and have a great week if I don't make it on tomorrow am!

Michie: Sounds like you had fun in the pool, I have promised to take my 2 swimming in the hols so I will also be on the lookout for a swimsuit Have you posted a new bump pic? I havent been on bumples for a while will have to check shortly

Petal: Off on hols I hope you have a lovely week and the weather stays lovely for you. No absailing!! lol I also spent the afternoon with a 9wk baby boy today and I tell you I havent seen a baby look soooo like its dad before he's the absolute double......mad

All is well this end. I was up through sat/sun night with ds who's asthma decided to kick in full swing and then at 7am this morning bunkbeds arrived so I ended up getting straight up again I am definatly having a lie in in the morning though! Ive managed to stop myself fom opening the box (bunkbeds) but if theyre not touched in the next 2 days I will attempt them myself......ok maybe not My hayfever has recently started up (the joys the sun brings with it aye)

Are any of you craving particular foods yet? I cant seem to get through the day without eating about 5 satsumas but other than that I havent had any other cravings for a particular food or drink, although I cant wait to have an ice cold glass of baileys

Right I think I need to go and put eye drops in my eyes because they are getting very itchy

Michie, so we are going on leave the same day, i can't wait.

I am not bad guys just still have that irony taste in my mouth as I have Ptalyn, i think that's how it's spelled :-) it's when pregnanacy makes you get excess saliva and that metallic taste in your mouth. I have only bought a few bits and bobs but am planning to get a pushchair, bouncer, chess of drawers and crib at the end of the month. My husband keeps saying we've got ages but i don't see it that way. i'm 26 weeks and anything can happen. So as they say, if you want anything done do it yourself so I will then bill him later :-) I'm glad you are all doing well, i love reading your stories.

Curvalicious...I made a mistake with my last post...i finish up on the 28th august, not sept. I bet you cant wait for maternity leave!! Poor you with Ptalyn! Does it make you feel sick? My dp is the same as yours, he thinks we have ages left, and we bloody well havent lol!! Im collecting my quinny buzz 4 travel system next week, then I just have to get a breast pump, and pack my bag. I still have a cot and bouncer from ds so I dont need to buymuch this time.

oh, my baby has turned, he isnt breech anymore yay!!!!! I had a doctors appointment today, and he seemed 100% sure baby was head down. Im SOOOOO delighted!!!! I got myself into a right state thinking I would need a c-section, or that I would need to get the baby turned by the midwife by hand(cant remember what thats called, but it seems very very unpleasant!) I think he turned Saturday, as I had period cramps all day, and funny movements, that hurt slightly, thats why I went swimming. I hope it helped him turn around easier I just hope he doesnt turn back around I think they give me a scan in 2 weeks to check again.
Im off for a week now, yay! Im finding work very tiring, and feel a bit useless there, as Im not allowed to do loads of stuff. Roll on 28th August!!!
Well, thats my news, going to do the chart, then get ds ready for bed

Hi Michie, i thought you were cutting it fne with your mat leave, August is more like it :-) evrything is fine except i had a consultant appt yesday and was told i have protein in my urine and when she felt my stomach she said the little one seems a bit big for his dates. I have been booked to go for a scan in 2 weeks so im trying to stay calm until then as ive been told these consultants tend to scaremonger. i'll keep you all posted though. i also have a glucose test 2 days later so fingers crossed. Glad to hear the little one has turned.

oh, poor you curvalicious, I hope its not gestational diabetes fingers crossed for you xxxx let us know how you get on?

as for me im bored today, so going to go look for a new dog kennell, for my ever expanding puppy. he's 5 stone now, so its weird calling him a puppy, but he's only 6 months old lol!! we have a little terrier, she has a small dog kennell, and the other chap has a bigger one. But lolly took the big one and poor banjo (my pup) squeezes into the small kennel, of which I dont have a clue how he fits in the door!! So 2 kennells the same size should fix the problem Plus i think I will get some baby stuff, as I cant help it lol!!
