morning girls! I got a bargain yesterday! went into TK Maxx for some photo frames, but seen a tommee tippee microwave/water steriliser for 15 euro!! (around 12 sterling) I had already decided on tommee tippee bottles, and had a set of the tiny newborns at home, so Im delited I found that bargain. it included 2 bigger bottles too. Its small and neat aswell. I just need an electric breast pump now, and a good moniter. I might get the moniter with the tv screen. Collecting my buggy in 2 weeks I think !!! cant wait!!! I think Im getting my ice craving again. I had it on ds, to the point were I nearly got obsessed lol!! I dont mind craving ice as it has no calories lol!! Petal....wow to all your gifts from work, how nice of them! braxon Hicks are weird arent they!! lucky you getting ur hair done, I sooo need mine done. Jo....im the same, most of my maternity clothes are getting too small now, grrr!! lol @ bubs kicking ur ds!! Mandy....funny you should say that you think your baby is smaller than ur dd, I think this baby is a bit smaller than ds was...I could be wrong though. Ive seemed to put on al the weight straight away, and now Ive evened off. I got my bump really early this time well, better go get ready, ive to collect ds's pixi-photos that he got taken 2 weeks ago, dying to see them!!! then he has playschool, which means i get a chance to tidy the house chat later love michelle xxx

Good evening, Just thought id pop on before logging p.c off for the night All went well with the school and end of term meetings. Dd's new teacher is very nice so im sure dd will be absolutly fine. Her end of term report was fantastic (opps as was ds's) so two very proud parents here this evening Only recently finished tea (chicken cury with pasta) and a cornetto to finish so I am absolutly bursting my eyes were definatly too big for my belly and baby is letting me know about it as he hasnt stopped kicking me yet Michie: I bet it doesnt help the boredom when the weather is soooooo rubbish?! I have lots to get done around the house but havent got the energy after dinner time lol. Ive started watching 'Medium' at 9pm, not sure if you ladies watch it but im hooked at the mo so going to go and get ready for bed before the remote gets hogged Cant believe i'll be 31wks tomorrow and starting to feel huge!! Goodnight all xx

Hi everyone. Michie, glad you had a really good holiday. Which part of Deveon did you stay in? I would love to live down there too as I love staying in Plymouth when we go to visit family. But this year is totally out of the question as it takes at least 6 hrs to get there when its quiet. Don't think I could put up with dc and the drive. Jo, nearly 31 weeks, its really scary isn't it. cause if i have a section at 39 weeks that only leaves me with 11 which will fly by. Hope your back isn't playing up too much. Petal. How do you like being a lady of leisure? Well I had my 28 week midwife apt this morning. All is well. I'm measuring at 30 weeks. I heard babies hb for the first time which was wonderfull. She said the baby didnt feel too big at all, just about average for this stage of pregnancy. Got my next apt at 32 weeks with the consulatant and a growth scan. Thats only four weeks away. oh blimey!!! I feel really well, just seem to have got a quite achey back lots of the time, especially towards the evening. and feel really slow. On a good note I have now finished work, as have five shifts off then I can start My Maternity leave. Enough from me, better go and finish cooking the tea. as usual everyone is starving. take care Mandy

Good evening ladies, Mandy: Great news your pregnancy is progressing well. You must still be smiling at finally being able to hear bubs heart beat, still find it shocking you've had to wait this long! and a big yayyyyyy for your maternity leave starting soon what will you do to fill the time??? I can sympathise with the backache. Mine seems to have eased off a little, trying to keep a good posture and a warm bath and massage always helps Michie: Hope your not still feeling bored matey Petal: How are things with you? have you attended any evening antenatal classes yet? will dp be going along with you? Well im smiling as im writing this......my neighbours have just given us a brand new swinging crib with sheets bumper and drapes and tucked inside are loads of hats and booties and extra bedding they had a baby boy last year but he didnt settle in it so theyve given it to us and offered us the moses basket aswell Im chuffed to bits. Not sure if ive already said but another close friend recently gave us 2 black bin bags full of boy clothes, snow suits hats, toys rattles, cot mobile, playmat and a bouncy chair and wont accept anything for them so im feeling extremly very lucky and loved at the mo (filling up) So now all I need is baby bath seat, cot and toiletries for myself (I think) I keep checking the July/Aug thread, are you ladies???? cant believe it will soon be our turn. Really trying not to think about the birth but I woke up last night and couldnt stop thinking about it all. Dp thinks I should have relaxation classes but im sure i'll be fine once im in labour. Okay my tummy is rumbling (again) so id better go and start some tea. xx

hi girls!! well, I had an appointment in hospital today, had my glucose test done, and they scanned me which was a nice suprise!!! baby is average size, surrounded by plenty of fluid, but is breach at the moment. But he has plenty of time to move. I was thinking the kicks were in a weird place!! he is facing in towards my back, so he probably has less room to kick, poor love!! Mandy...We went to a farm 5 mins away from Ilfracombe, we drove from Holyhead all the way down, which (including stop offs) took 9 hours on the way down, and 7 and half on the way back. But we spaced it out well, and it honestly didnt feel that long. we had two dogs and ds, so we had plenty of stopoffs. ds slept most of the way down, as he was up all the night before coz he was excited, so that worked in our benefit lol!! then on the way back he had the mini dvd player, and stayed in good spirits the whole way. Plus 90% of the journey is a lovely drive!! wales is beautiful!! Thank god for Sat Nav though lol!!! Jo...ive started worrying about the birth too I was reading over my notes in the hospital today, from my last pregnancy, trying to see if there is something I can do better. so I said to midwife that I dont want pethadine this time, as it seemed to put ds to sleep last time, and slowed things down. I also read on the july/aug thread that rasp leaf capsules really helped someone on there with their contractions, and she believed they were less painful because she took the capsules. So I will be enquiring when I can start them I was thinking of looking into the hypnotherapy thing, anyone know much about that?? *waves* to petal!!! well im hungry...like Jo!!lol!!! so its food time . Strangely I just eat brekkie, then dont think about eating again untill 6pm, then I eat loads, feel uncomfortable for doing so, then moan on the couch for the night lol!! im my own worst enemy lol!!

hi everyone. I'm so fed up with this weather. but least its not stopped us from going out today. We've taken the girls to the local castle which they love cause they can climb on the walls etc cause its a ruin in parts and feed the ducks and more to the point its free. . my baby feels like its been doing summersaults the last two days. and really likes to settle under my ribs. not pleasant at all, especially when I'm driving.! I've had some painfull brackston hicks overnight, They woke me up and at one point thought I'd gone into early labour. Luckly they eventually eased off after a couple of hours. I've forgotten how painfull they can be. I just hope they don't carry on like this till the end. Michie: I bet the baby has grown quite a bit since your last scan. what a nice suprise that they scanned you. Jo, what a pain strikes are. we've been lucky here. my 2dd's finish pre-school next week. They've got a busy week there with a party. a trip to a local working farm on thursday then we are all having a teddy bears picknick and treasure hunt on friday. My girls are so excited. Right off to sort the girls out. take care Mandy
