hi everyone.

Well isn't the weather wonderfull. Raining all day yesterday and very high winds today. My DH was doing a medieval festival yesterday in a nearby villiage and even though it was so wet, they had over 2000 people visit it.

Jo, loved your scan photot's. He is gorgous. and a good weight too. Where did you go to have your scan?

Michie, yay to your holiday coming up soon. a hog roast is like a bbque but where they put a pig on a spit.

Well my bean is really lively and seems to love music and the dd's talking to it. We went to the medieval festival yday and there was a procession through the villiage first. a brass band lead it and baby kept kicking to the music.
Only 3 weeks till I can finish work.

my friend had a little boy on monday. he was only 7lb 1oz and the drs had told her he would be over 9lb as her other 2 dd's were big. I can't wait to see him but have had a stinking cold so will have to wait.

28 wk appt went v well - measuring 28cm (phew!), nice strong heartbeat, easily found etc!

NCT class last night was great - really enjoyed it - will tell you more later.

Off for 28 week scan today! Yippee!!

Petal: How did your scan go???????? Im glad to hear your 28wk app went well. I also had mine today and came in measuring 28cm. The midwife also told me that bubs probably doesnt yet weigh 3lbs and not to worry but then she asked the birth weights weights of dd 6lb14 and ds 8lb6 and joked I know how to cook them Its a good job i was in a good mood! but they agree with the bubs leg measurements he will be long.

Mandy: The medival festival sounds fun apart from the weather and its great that bubs was enjoying it aswell
My 4d scan was at Upton Magna business park by Shrewsbury. We did get lost trying to find it as it seems to be in the middle of nowhere but the receptionist doesnt believe that anyone else has ever had difficulty finding it (we had difficulty believing that lol!) Do you have a scan soon?

Michie: Hi there I hope you are well. I bet your looking forward to your 3wks off. I cant believe the kids break up in the next 3/4wks Do you have any more scans?

All is well this end. Ive had backache.....constipation.....leaky boobs....heartburn.....fatigue.......and constant memory loss lol but now I have seen my son I can say it's all worth it I have started eating more ive noticed but things like yoghurts and satsumas oh and the occasional choc mousse custard cream biscuits and flapjacks

Right im off to have a bath and then jump on my new mattress (came today)

Scan was lovely - saw little one's face - so cute! All great!
Jo - the lucozade thing is when you have to drink some Lucozade an hour before a blood test, so they can check for glucose/gestational diabetes. Usually around 28 weeks, I think.

im off for 3 weeks yay!!! heading to devon on friday morning, so I will be absent for a week
Have any of you thought of baby names??
so far we have Mylo, Tony, Tyler.....i LOVE bobby, but a mate of mine has two sons...ben and bobby, and my son is ben, so I cant have bobby....grrr!!! I like jack too. I have a couple of girls names just incase lol!!! emmie and callie. Because you never know! a woman in work was told she was having a girl and bought all pink everything, only for a boy to pop out

Petal: How are things? a little less hectic I hope Are you finding your starting to get really hungry again? If I dont eat when im suddenly hungry ive started feeling abit sickie

All is well this end. Weighed myself this am and ive put on a stone exactly. Cant believe i'll be 30wks next week I can feel myself going into a slight panic mode because we still havent got cot or moses basket, mad I know because theres still plenty of time. A good friend of mine brought 2 bag fulls of baby boy clothes round for us which are in immaculate condition so my lil one is set up for the first year as I have ds's clothes from 9mths I also have bouncing cradle and cot mobile. I cant believe how much the cot bumpers are we hadn't really noticed before.

I read my ticker and it made me laugh soooooo much because I really have started to suffer bad backache lol.

Happy hols Michie!! Hope you have a great time!

Jo - lucky you re the baby clothes - it does help to know what you're having!!
I have also put on just under a stone! No idea if that is average, but not a lot I can do about it now!! Most of my weight has come on in the last few weeks and my bump is much bigger now (it was pretty neat!) I am not all that hungry, but have been pretty emotional! Happy 29 weeks!!

How are you keeping Mandy and Curvalicious?

I am afraid I am as busy as ever at work - trying to get all ends tied up, tidy and box everything, get reports out, sort co-ordinator stuff, hand over to new teacher, check all records/filing are up to date etc etc etc - it's never ending!! Roll on next Friday!!!!!

Got another busy weekend, as MIL is visiting - better go and get cleaning! (Not that she minds at all, but I am houseproud! Luckily - I have a lovely MIL!)

Take care all - and bring on the summer hols, so I can get buying more baby stuff!!!

All seems to be fine this end. Ive managed to get a good few hours sleep in over the weekend and put my feet up (well as much as you can when you have washing and ironing to do )

Baby continues to move around alot, and we've noticed he'll give a few jabs when I read kids bedtime story so we've picked Topsey and Tim books to read to him when he arrives

Still suffering slight backache and constipation grrrrr but other than that all is well. Cant believe that we are almost 30wks

Well kids are on the trampoline so id better get back to supervising them xx

Hope you're all well?
Still rushing around like mad!! Last few days at work now (3 1/2 to be precise!!!) Will be on lots more after that - sorry for my rubbish-ness at posting recently! By the end of the day, it's all I can do to crawl into bed (after NCT classes/aquanatal etc etc!)

I am well - heavy legs and sore feet, but not bad apart from that!
