Michie, congratualtions on your blue bump. Having 2 of the same sex is really good. I had 2ds's first. Loved the scan pics on bumples. so clear.

Petal, report writing, My elder brother is a teacher and hates this time of year with a vengance. least you've not got long till the holidays now. Then you can put your feet up and count the weeks off. they're flying by.

jo, glad your hayfever has eased off abit. 3trimester already. lest everyone will have more check ups.

I'm not haing my next one till I'm 28 weeks its ages since my 18 week check at the hospital. I haven't heard the beans heart beat yet. They don't do that till your 28 weeks up here.

I've started washing the moses basket covers and the pram, (which completely goes in the washing machine) Will start on all the baby clothes in the next few weeks. My dh thought it was too early saying I've got ages yet. Men! want to get everything ready by 35 weeks. if not before. just incase as you never know.

off to a hog roast this afternoon. hopefully the weather will stay fine.

Michie: Just had a peek at your photos before posting on here they are amazing so clear, you must be thrilled especially with the dvd. . Theres no stopping you and dp credit card now lol, blue all the way hey If you are keeping it a secret from friends you'll have to be extra careful not to let slip . Really happy everything went well for you, cant wait for mine now

Petal and Mandy: Hope you are both taking abit of time out for yourselves and not been too busy Mandy.......boo to not having heard babys heart beat yet, have yyou thought about buying one of those heart monitors that you use at home? anyone brought any more items??

I spent the day in the garden yesterday doing the back garden and oh my goodness did I suffer later that night My hayfever was out of control and had very bad asthma all through the night. Was woken up very early by next door neighbours swearing about 6:15am and havent had chance to catch up on any sleep yet so im very grumpy and very tired and still got to sort all the ironing out!

Baby had an absolute mad half hour this morning, he had us all in stitches, and just wouldnt keep still, my whole tummy was moving

Okay, better go and make a brew before I start next load of jobs........who said sunday was a day of rest?!

I seem to have developed the classic 'mask of pregnancy'. My skin tone in my face is terrible, my concealer is already an expensive one from Clinque but it's not helping at the mo do any of you get this?

Sorry for being so rubbish at posting at the mo... work is just mental - and although reports are done, I have a MILLION things to do in the next 2 weeks before I finish work - all a bit stressful, in all.

Michie: Are you still off work? Been anywhere nice? The weather has changed here now wet and windy (ive got to say just the way I like it at the mo) Have yo any new preg sypmtoms? cravings?

I managed to get a good nights kip last night and only woke up for the loo once so feel abit better today. Ive started suffering with heartburn and its soooo uncomftable.......any tips to preventing it?? 3 more sleeps for us until 4d scan yayyyyyyy and oh my goodness im 28wks tomorrow

Im back at work...booo!!
im even in saturday and sunday 6am till 12 for overtime, but I dont mind, because Im off for 3 weeks then for my hols!! Devon next friday!!!! cant wait!!!
oh....lenny just announced on bumples that she got her bfp this morning!!! how brilliant is that!! im delighted for her, hopefully the rest will follow very very soon.

Am rather zombie like!! Working too hard at the mo, but that's how it is for the next little while!
Getting lots of Braxton Hicks - how exciting!! My rash is improving with the new cream - phew! Getting v heavy legs - they ache! Am sleeping v well though - and have had several weeks of not getting up to go to the loo in the night! Hooray!!
How are all the rest of your symptoms coming on?

Petal...braxton hicks are weird arent they?! i didnt have them with ds. its like ur whole tummy going tight for a minute or two.oh my pics are on the due in sept/oct thread on bumples

Hi all,

Michie: I tried the link for free nappies, thankyou, lets see if it works Are things well your end? whats the weather like where you are? Seems to have cooled down here although I was very hot and bothered last night, could not get comfy at all.

Petal: Braxton Hicks all a good sign although I havent had them yet im not complaining 10 days left at work yayyy, bet you cant wait

I am trying not to think too much about my scan tomorrow because it will make the day go even slower and as im on my own today it's going slow enough as it is lol.

Ive decided to twizzle up my hair for the remainder of the pregnancy because although everyone says it looks really thick and shiny because im using straightners on it everyday its actually in the worst condition ever. I learnt with last preg not to do anything too drastic with your hair so ive taken it back to natural curl lol

My new mattress should arrive on tuesday yayyyy only problem is I forgot im seeing the midwaife mid morning so hoping it gets here early or i'll be in a pickle

Im sorry im rambling......oh did you see Big Brother last night?????Alex is out yessss what a nasty piece of work she was!

Okay im off to hang the washing out if im not on later I hope you all have a lovely weekend and im sure i'll be on tomorrow at some point to let you all know how scan went xx

Well had scan

It was an amazing experience even though for the first half hour or so baby wouldnt move his legs then arms from his face making it very difficult to see after much walking, turning eating drinking and prodding we finally managed to wake him up I have posted the pics on bumples so please take a look

He is definatly a he lol. He was doing alot of frowning and constantly trying to suck his thumb, arm and feet! He also looks just like my ds. The lady said he weighs approx 3lb already and has long legs!!

Hope all of you are well, going to make a brew and watch the dvd now xx

I am officially jealous!! It is amazing to think that there is a whole little person inside each of us!!
I have my 28 week appt on Monday - the one where you have to drink Lucozade - yum! Then on Tues, I have my 28 week scan - CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
NCT classes start on Monday evening, so it's a busy baby start to the week!! Are you guys doing classes? Maybe not, I guess, as you're all experienced already!
Ok - better keep cleaning - we have friends and their 3 little ones coming over later.
Hope you're all having a good weekend - and that you're enjoying your DVDs Jo and MIchie!
