Mandy: Good news that you dont have too far to travel to RSH. Do you know, would all new moms be in side rooms or is it just because your having an c-section? I dont like hospitals at the best of times but to feel so isolated at the same time wouldnt be a very nice feeling. My midwife has already suggested I spend a couple of days in the hospital, ive told her theres NO chance!! I want to be in and out.
Michie: Sorry to hear your sickness and mandy's is returning. I think mine went for a few days and id post no sickness on here then 2 days later it would return!! but did go completly after 12wks, so should go very soon, as long as nobody coughs aye heehee
Petal: Glad to hear your enjoying your time off. It actually sounds like your enjoying doing the cleaning and washing!! You will have to let us know how your yoga and aqua classes go. They sound fun. Pelvic floors?! what are they?? lol. You asked when we felt movement with baby, that is something I will have to look back on in pregnancy diaries honestly cant remember.
However have you felt anything so far? the reason I ask is because since prob last week when im lying down and completly relaxed sometimes its like the baby is pushing its body right upto my skin and my lower tummy just above pubic bone goes hard. I have poked at it a little bit but get scared incase I hurt it. Its not a large shape or anything but almost certain its the baby. Will be asking the midwife next week so she can assure me im not going crazy .
My dc, especially 4yr old, are desperatly waiting for baby to kick. Its lovely when he keeps pulling my top up to feel my tum bless him. Think hes getting impatient with the waiting though!
Have any of you started a pregnancy diary? Its something ive done with all of mine and they are great to look back on and compare your feelings and first movements etc.
well seems like ive being typing forever so better go. xx
Hi girls, Hope u don't mind me popping over from the Due in Nov thread, I just wanted to ask a question,
How long is it before this exhaustion (sp?) wears off? I constantly feel like u feel the day after u've had a tummy bug IYKWIM? Like washed out and totally energy-less. I don't really feel sick except when I'm hungry, just absolutely shattered. Have been sleeping11 hours a night which is totally not like me at all!! Does this last til 12 weeks or will it wear off and just leave the sickness??
I can't belive how far along u all are now, it's mad! Wowswrs McTrousers!!! hehehe
PS, there has also been a couple more BFP's on the ttc thread...
Much Love
Sal

Hi girls, How are we all thhis morning? V quiet yesterday!!
I am fine - just a bit sleepy, as I had to get up 4 (yes 4!!) times in the night to go to the loo and then some idiot called my DH's phone at 4am and I couldn't get back to sleep!
Does anyone else need the loo so much? My bladder feels so tiny at the mo!!
Also, I am still craving citrus fruit and made myself a delicious freshly squeezed juice - a grapefruit, a lemon and 2 oranges. It was gorgeous, but I paid for it, with the most awful indigestion!!
Sal, good to see you on here - to be honest, my tiredness started to lift around 13/14 weeks. Until then, I had to be in bed by 9pm and slept through until 6.30am and had a nap at lunchtime. I know that must sound like a lifetime away, but bubba needs you to sleep!! Now I feel much more awake in the day and can stay up to the dizzy heights of 11pm!!
DIPPY!! Great to hear from you, my love!! Thanks so much for your congrats - it still doesn't quite seem real yet!!!! How are you and the lovely Bea? How are you finding being a mummy? Would love to hear from you - please do reply when you have a mo - or PM me - I check that often. Take care, my sweet!
Jo - I have started a preg diary - haven't really dared to until now - bet that sounds silly!!
Michie and Mandy - how are you guys? Any news from you? Not long till your scan, Michie - hooray!!

morning!!! i ate chips and onion rings yesterday, and felt so sick for 3 hours im sooo gone off fried food!! even the thoughts of it euuuugh!!! lol!!
Jo....I cant remember when I first felt movement with ds, i must check his baby book, i might have wrote it in there. i never felt the fluttering feeling, my first movement was a tiny kick, and he did a few of them! when i put my hand on bottom of belly i could feel him tipping my belly with his tiny feet! I cant wait for the movement!!
petal....yes i need the loo lots it always feels like a big pee, but when i get there its a little one lol!! im loving citrus fruits too!! Im actually loving all fresh cold helthy foods if you know what I mean? Im gone off junk, and fried foods, except taco fries Im loving healthy sandwhices, fruits, veg etc.....oh and mash and gravy!! A lot of the time, ill want something nice, and look in the presses, and fridge and nothing appeals to me, and i dont know what I want.....its sooo annoying!! I do it in the canteen in work aswell, my work mates think its funny
Mandy...how are you?? uve been quiet xxx
sally...nice to see you!! i popped onto ur thread for a cuppa no milk and one sugar please
right, i havent ate yet, so time for brekkie!!! (ive an empty tummy and i dont feel sick because of it...yay)
Just a quick one for now going to get ds hair chopped off!
Michie, just noticed on the chart im down for being 16wks. As much as I cant wait until tomorrow lol im not 16wks until tomorrow
Sal.....Thanks for popping over, I have to agree with petal im afraid, my fatigue didnt leave until about 13/14wks but now I have loads more energy and stay up much later yayyy
Thanks for letting us know about the BFP's I will check those abit later but if you find out who they are first michie you can let us know heehee
Have a nice day folks if poss, its blinkin tipping it down here .
How did the haircut go, Jo? Unrelated, but my hair is growing like mad! Are your children on holiday now? I thought I felt a few flutterings in my lower tummy - but was prob just wind!!
Michie - lucky you liking healthy stuff!! I am loving fruit again - and not liking fried food (never did anyway) but I am loving choc and eating FAR too much of it! Still off most veg! Boo!
Oh, I am the opposite when it comes to going to the loo - I think "I can't need to do much" and then there's a big wee wee every time!! I can't believe how much wee I'm producing from my tiny bladder!! Oh the delights!!
Am desperate to hear the heartbeat now - as it seems AGES since I last saw bubba. Will I get to hear it at 16 week scan? I still sometimes get paranoid that this is all just a good dream!! Silly, I know!!
petal....if i remember correctly, u should get to hear hearbeart at every appointment. Could be wrong though. if your flutterings are in the lowest part of ur tummy, just above pubic bone, it could be ur baby hunnie!! if its higher up its usually wind caused from uterus leaning on intestines. Where did you feel it?? oooh how exciting!!
JollyJo: 16w0d ......EDD: 12th September 2008 its a suprise!! Petal: 15w5d ......EDD: 13th September 2008 its a suprise!! Michie: 12w5d......EDD: 4th October 2008 its a suprise!! Mandy4land: 12w5d......EDD: 4th October 2008 its a suprise!!
Petal, thanks for your post! I'm so excited! Wow, nearly 16 weeks! Yup, you should get to hear the heart beat at your midwife appointment. My midwife even felt ds fluttering away at my 16 week appointment! I felt a couple of 'pops' just before 16 weeks but wasn't sure if it was baby cos it was so early. Then at my 16 week appointment midwife was checking where uterus was and she felt baby. Think it's more usual to feel it around 20 weeks with first one. Do you have a little bumpette yet?
Hi Michie! How are you? Not long til your scan now! You must be so excited! Any thoughts on what you're having?
Thanks Hels! I am so excited for you too - and for all of us!! It is just the most exciting time ever!! And seeing that heartbeat is just the most magical moment!! And the relief is so great too!! I am getting a small bump (can't fit in any of my trousers) but it is quite well hidden and neat - so far!!!! I am really excited for it to pop out!! I really thought I may have felt a few quick movements a couple of days ago - but I may have been imagining it!! How amazing the midwife could feel your DS at 16 weeks!! I simply can't wait to hear the heartbeat - although I am a bundle of nerves!! My appt is next Wed. Oh - and I have had quite a lot of period type pains too - think it is everything stretching! The weeks are ushing by, in some respects - but as you are always looking to the next milestone (16 wk check/20 wk scan etc) they go quite slowly too - but I suppose they would do when you are counting in days!!! Take care Hels - and all of you! Off to the loo AGAIN!!! I seem to be permanently attached nowadays!! Love, Pxx
Michie: 3 days to go yayyyyyyyyy, im counting down with you lol. I wish I was eating more healthy food I keep eating a whole tub of fried mushrooms to ahem (whispers) myself! I always fancy runny eggs, either boiled or ahem (whispers) fried and cadburys creme eggs are top of my list! I even take one to bed with me I cant remember the last time I ate a piece of fruit, opps.
Petal: lol at you and needing the loo so often I think my bladder has settled down now. I dont get up every night like I was but am starting to have alot of strange dreams that wake me up!
Mandy: Are you well? have you time off this half term? Hope all is well x
Well took ds for his haircut and he looks very handsome again heehee. Petal, my friend (whos 33wks) has just been round and shes said my hair looks really thick shiny and healthy so that made me smile. my nails have also grown very long yayyy. My friend also pointed out that my belly buttn is starting to stick out ALREADY, dont like that
I havent felt any fluttering yet but (think I mentioned before) I have felt what I believe baby pushing itself against my lower tum so thats a nice feeling.
Have you read my ticker ha ha ha.
Right back to entertaing my lil darlings Take care xx
Michie, bet you can't wait for your scan on sunday. Hope yours is more successful than mine. remeber drink plenty of fluids so you have a full bladder. I've got my next scan on the 8th april for measuring etc. This morning I had my 20 weeks scan date through the post. 22nd May. Thats only 7 weeks away.
Petal it is a wonderful feeling feeling baby for the first time, I felt my 1st at 20weeks and the others about 16 weeks. I can't wait for it to happen, and my 2 little ones keep putting their hands on my tummy and saying they can feel their baby moving.
olly jo, no its usually mums who've had sections who get the rooms, the others have to go into the wards.
I'm loving cheese and branston sandwiches at the moment, I can't get enough of them. and strawberries.
I'm off to bed as v tired.
take care
Mandy
