Hi everyone,

sounds like everyone is doing really well.

Well done to jolly jo and petal for getting to your 2nd trimester. Glad your sickness has gone.

Michie can you believe we're in our 11th week? Time is flying by. Our babies will be due before we know it. Mine will probably be at 38 weeks.

I've been so sick this week. then my 2 little daughters had a tummy bug, so I probably had it to. i couldn't even keep water down.

My energy levels are a bit hit and miss though. this morning feel really good. Have managed to get loads done while the little ones are at playschool. Smiler Smiler By nine o'clock I'm ready for bed. which is a bit hard when't you dont finish work till 9.45. then have to drive for 25 mins. oh well. the joys of being a women.

I keep looking at baby clothes and am desperate to buy something but being a little superstisious, will wait till my scan next week. keep having weird dreams about having twins. hopefully its just pregnancy hormones.

sorry for long post.

take care

Afternoon all,

Mandy: Sorry to read youve had sickness in your house, it's the last thing you need on top of all pregnancy brings. Ive also had a couple of baby dreams, mainly that im having a girl but im holding off buying clothes until I know for sure.

How is everybody else doing?

Petal: sounds like you had a good weekend apart from sunday. Who quoted sundays are a day of rest! lol. Im sure your hair looks fine and with careful monitoring of your blood pressure im sure that will be fine aswell.

Michie: Have you managed to hold off telling your lil one you are expecting? I remember you saying you wanted to hold off till you'd had your scan.

Lea: How have you been feeling recently? I hope all is well.

Well you'll never guess what I found on ebay.....a RED/grey graco mosaic pushchair. Its from one of the baby shops on ebay comes complete with carseat, in car base, footmuff and changing bag (raincover £15 instead of £30) extra, but all that for £139 so ive only gone and brought it Roll Eyes Eeker Big Grin Ive been looking for a red pushchair everywhereeeeeee so very happy with my find. Very early to be buying it really but they only had 5 left! (trying to justify buying it early heehee)

Okay im off for abit got a rumble in my tum (again!)

Tah Rah Abit xxx

Hi girls

well I went for my us today, they saw gest sac, yolk sac and a small embryo but no heartbeat. They have booked me in for a weeks time to have another us but to be honest ive completely lost hope now, ive done nothing but cry since getting home and feel heartbroken. My partner has gone back to work and says he is looking on the bright side but I cant see one anymore. The tech said that there is a slim chance that the pregnancy will be ok and progess normally and i may have dates mixed up. I dont see how that could be the case and ive completely given up hope. Ive had no signs of m/c, no cramping or spotting so I dont understand why this is happening, i just feel like im sitting around waiting to miscarry and its heartbreaking

Hi all,

Thinking of you, Lea.

Michie - so glad everyone at work was so happy for you! The other teachers at school know now, but not the children yet - am going to keep it a surprise until after the Easter hols, then come back with a bump!! I do have a small bump at the mo, but it can be disguised!! Yeah to being past 10 weeks, Michie!! How are you now?

Jo - our tickers have moved on another square!!! Hooray!!!!! How are you feeling? Hooray for your buggy!!!!! Have you had that make before? I am wondering what to buy - travel system or pram with separate car seat.

What do you seasoned mummies recommend?

Mandy - sorry you've been feeling so ill - yuck. I really feel for you. Although I am now a lot less sick, no one has told the baby that I am supposd to STOP being sick now!!! Am still sick a couple of times a week - but such an improvement!!

Well, I am exhausted! Overdid it at the weekend and have worked late both nights so far this week. AGH! I really think I need to start putting bubs first, not work. Am feeling pretty grotty this evening and there's something going round at school, so I hope I'm not getting it.

Have booked a few days away in Cornwall in the Easter hols - can't wait!! Anyone else got any plans?

Have started buying a few bits for baby - it's SOOO exciting - I am controlling myself at the mo, but it's hard!!!

Looking forward to hearing all your news,
Pxx

Hi everyone

I started losing the baby last night so its definately over for me. The bleeding isnt heavy at the moment but Im waiting for it to start, Ive been through this before so know what to expect. I feel completely numb at the moment and dont really know wha to do with myself. DP is trying to block it all out and pretend its not happening which doesnt help or give me much support but my parents are being brilliant. DS is running around and trying to work out why everyone is so sad, im trying so hard not to break down in front of him but its so unbelievably hard. It all feels very surreal at the moment. I really believed that this pregnancy was going to be ok, we had tried for over two years and we were so happy, i cant understand why this is happening.

Its been great getting to know everyone on here, youre all so lovely and I wish you all the very best in your pregnancies. Thankyou for being such wonderful support over the past weeks.

Lea xxx

Morning all

Lea.....Im so sorry to hear your sad news. I cant even begin to imagine how your feeling at the moment. I hope you have people around you who you can talk to if you need to and like michie said we are here if you need us. Big Hugs xx

Michie...Great to hear your feeling better and youve told people your news. It wont be too long until your scan. I cant believe how quick the weeks seem to be going now. Are you showing at all?

Petal....How are you? caught up on some much deserved rest?! Yayy to our tickers moving on (smileys still not working) You were asking about prams etc, I dont know if its just me feeling old but im finding alot of the travel systems and carrycot ones are soooo heavy nowadays. Im terrible for putting bags on the handles and have to catch a bus sometimes so im not overly keen on the bugaboo style but this graco one is light weight and compact and my daughter will be able to push it aswell heehee.

Have any of you got shocks off anyones pushchairs???? this is one thing im dreading as I seem to suffer with shocks with EVERY pushchair I ever touch! Good luck looking for one ladies, its all fun lol.

Mandy.....How are you? are you showing yet?

Oh my goodness, just realised the time must dash xx

Hey Michie,

My pushchair has arrived and its a travel system! panic set in then but it is the one I was looking at phewwww. Its called a Graco mosaic tokyo travel system but it really is very light weight and although we already have a car seat (only thing I kept because it was very expensive) it means my mom can have this one and in car seat base for her car heehee.

Ive just googled the Stokke Xplory, you weren't joking when you said its expensive mate!! They look very neat and tidy and very compact, what age do they see the child through to? do you think you'll end up getting it? I havent heard or seen that one before.

Have you brought anything else yet? We have decided to try and buy things from now and then we're not worrying about things in the 6wks hols so we make sure the kids get to go away for mini breaks like Alton Towers yayyyyyy heehee.

I know what you mean about the pre bump thing, mine however is now a lil round bump so looking okay at the mo lol.

Catch yers later xx

Hi guys,
At home today, feeling very wobbly and quite sick. Don't think I'm eating enough/often enough, but I'm just really not hungry?! When I do eat, I am trying to make it healthy things, but I think I need to eat more!!

Lea - I am so sad for you. I am sorry DH doesn't seem to understand -I think it is very hard for them as it's not their body - and he's probably just worried about you- but please know we're here for you. Take care and be really kind and gentle to yourself.

Michie and Jo - wow - all this talk of prams/travel systems etc is making my head spin!! I never knew there was so much choice and so many options!!!! I love the look of your one, Michie (haven't seen yours yet, Jo - will google it in a min) - but where do you put your shopping?! I would like to get something that's light and good for lots of walking and public transport. I think we will be hitting John Lewis soon - hubby beware!!

Just out of interest, have you both changed preferences from when you had your first/subsequent children? I kind of feel I won't know what I need until he/she is here!!

Take care - chat more later.
love,
Pxx
