PS I am so happy to be posting on here!! Big Grin

PPS My midwife comes to visit too, which is great. I am hoping to arrange the visit for 1/2 term (wk 11th Feb) as it's hard to be off school too much without giving the game away!

WOW Congratulations girlies from the due in Sept 06 thread-it seems like yesterday we were starting that thread!
I think I remember that the sickness is a good sign of pregnancy so although it is rotten it reminds you that things are as they should be Smiler Hope this helps-I lived on preggy pops especially ginger or lavender flavor.

Morning all,

Just got time for a quick post. I feel much better compared to yesterday and managed to keep breakfast down, just munching on a gingernut now!

Babyusa: Thankyou for the congratulations Smiler. Im going to hit the shops later and stock up on some ginger products lol....

Petal: Are you taking anything for your sickness? like people say we have to look upon it as a good sign Smiler. Where I used to live we always had to go the midwife which for me was a bus journey away so im pleased that she comes here. Do you know if this carries on throughout or would it just be the first initial visit?

Hayley: How are you doing chick?? did you manage to get in at the doc's? keep us posted x

Well i'd better go for now, speak to you all later xx

Evening all,

The day started okay, was ill first thing then seemed to be okay. At 11:30 I got sent home and havent stopped throwing up. My friend is going to get me some arrowroot biscuits tonight and I thought id get some gingerbeer but all thats done is upset my tummy even more Frowner I definatly wasnt this bad through first 2 pregnancies. When does this phrase pass?????? I feel so sorry for the women who have sickness throughout their preg's. I got to the school and someone practically shouted 'oh my god you look a right state'. I felt like crying right there and then. I just want to curl up in a ball and go to bed sobsob....

Dp not back for another hour yet so ive yet to sort tea out and the last thing I want to smell is food cooking Frowner. Ive completly gone off tea and coffee aswell now.

feeling very sorry for myself but I know you women will understand, but sorry for the rant Smiler I hope petal and hayley, your not feeling as bad.

Will catch up tomorrow as im off work for the rest of this week. Joxx

Hope you're feeling better, Jo. If it's any consolation, I have been violently ill this evening - I couldn't breathe in between abouts of vomiting! I had just had ginger tea too, so I guess that didn't help!
Am dreading feeling like this at work tomorrow - but I'm not complaining (yet!! Wink) Just happy to be here!! Big Grin
Hope you join us soon too, heidi and michie - and all you 2ww girls!
Love,
Pxx

just popping over from DIM i was horrendously ill with morning sickness.... every hour of the day i was sick, nothing would stay down. Went to docs with it and they prescribed me Avomine which helped a little but not to the extent of stopping it but i had some relief while the tablets worked. I also found seabands helped especially at night. By 16 weeks i had got rid of all sickness symptoms..... there is light at the end of the tunnel in terms of mornng sickness.

i even threw up in Marks and spencers car park while loading shopping into car.. Red Face

Good luck to all you ladies

Good morning all,

So far feeling much better and not been sick YET! My friend could'nt find the arrowroot biscuits in asda, infact the person she asked has'nt even heard of them great lol.

This morning ive managed a full bowl of frosties and ive been sucking on some hard boiled sweets which seem to be working hoooooorrrrraaaaayyyyyy. How long it lasts is another matter lol.

Baby Usa: Thankyou for posting the link, I think like the lollies boiled sweets are a way forward Smiler

Monkey: Thankyou for the info. Wow 16wks seems like a lifetime away so if I am as bad in a few days i'll be asking for avomine aswell. Big Grin

Hayley: Glad to hear all is well and I hope you dont suffer too much, like I said I wasn't anywhere near this bad in first two pregnancies.

About your ticker........when it comes to the code you copy and paste into your signature box there are usually 3 different ones to choose from. I had to select each one in turn copy it to sig then go into ticker test to see which one worked. I think for mine it was always the middle code.....good luck with it Wink

Heidi and Michie: There is always a place on here for you gals and the rest of 2ww Smiler Big Grin Smiler
Heres hoping you all get a BFP very soon

Catch up later xxxxxx

Hi Hayley, Hi Jo!
How goes it? Glad to hear you've had less sickness today, Jo. I'm with you on needing the loo loads, Hayley!
I have only been sick twice today - this morning and after lunch. Feel a bit less sick this eve - but (and this is silly) I feel worried as I don't feel as rough as yesterday!!
Off for a bath, Location, Location, Location and bed!!
Oh - do either of you have yellow discharge at the mo - as I have lots!
Love to all,
Pxx

Hi all,

It's 8:30 and im not in bed!! I havent been ill all day I can't believe it. Ive felt a little rough but nowhere near as much as the last few days......but on that note im with you petal as ive been worrying a bit if all is well because i havent conked out on the settee all day either, abit strange unless it's just because we're actually getting used to feeling nausesa!
I have been sucking on hard boiled sweets all day and freezing cold orange juice and I feel they've worked a treat.
Im also with you petal on the yellow dis...... I actually felt like I was bleeding today so rushed to the loo but it was just extra dis....... this is all normal and a sign our pregnancies are going well.
My tummy has bloated up like a balloon again this evening which is uncomftabe.

Can feel myself rambling so id better go....

How did you get on with your ticker hayley? Hope all is well xx

Jo xx

Freezing cold OJ sounds good! May just have some now! I have been loving ice cold water and grapes and blueberries cold from the fridge!
Glad you had a better day, Jo - and thanks for the reassurance on the discharge - I have had it a while and it sometimes feels as if I'm leaking!! Eeker
Hope you're ok, Hayley.
Night night!
Love,
Pxx
