Petal: Great news about your scan and can tell you were thriled by the amount of smiles on your post haha. Ive just checked the calender and we're due weekend babies so lets hope they arrive on the right day!! I hope your fainting spells are disappearing, maybe it was all the excitement. Anyway congrats again

Michie: Excellent news on your 4d scan. I was wondering how far in advance they need to be booked for and I definatly think they will be well worth the money. i think mine will be around may just after my 20wk scan. I think we're lucky to be in first trimester now, in these colds months rather than in the middle of a hot summer because the cold air always made me feel better aswell.

Mandy: Good to read all is well with yourself. Is it just me or do you think the days are quickly turning into weeks/months?! I cant believe how quickly this year seems to be passing already.

Lea: Hope you are well and not feeling too queasy.

I spent yesterday out shopping and ive set my heart on the style pushchair I want im just not keen on the colours that are out at the moment. I managed to get a right bargin aswell....babies cellualr cot blankets £11.99 in mothercare world, I got 3 for £3 each and babies fleece blankets pram/moses basket size for £2 each!!!! out of TJ Hughes. I also couldnt resist stocking up on baby vests and baby gros and scratch mitts!!! I knew as soon as id had the scan I wouldnt be able to resist although im not buying any more clothes untill we find out the sex.

Thanks for your response. actually I am due in october...completed my 6 weeks today.
What are the kind of exercises advised by your doc coz mine has asked me to take things very easy right now and allowed only casual walks.

Hi all

I did write a post yesterday to congratulate petal on her scan and to say a few other things but lost my internet connection and lost the whole post. I immediately went into another room as my laptop was in danger of being lobbed up the garden along with the router...Im not the most patient of people right now

Just as DS is getting slightly better Ive now got flu and feel absolutely awful. I feel completely drained of all energy and ache all over. Im very worried that it might affect the baby badly, im praying that it doesnt. Also im living on lucozade at the moment as its the only thing that eases my sickness and gives me enough energy to stay awake. Ive read that its safe on the internet but still feel bad as its packed with caffeine and glucose.

This is the second time ive been poorly during this pregnancy and im only 8 weeks into it. I cant help feeling that none of this is doing the baby any good

Michie...its really good to hear that you have your 4d san booked..it will be so exciting

Michie I need help babe, I am trying to do a chart like urs for our Nov/Dec thread, but when I copy and paste it all the pretty lines just come out boring black! Even tried editing the colours in Word then pasting it but that doesnt work either! Help!!!!!!

Thanks for all your scan congrats!! We are SO happy!
I am so sorry for being such a rubbish correspondent at the mo, but my tiredness is overwhelming - I keep bursting into tears (even though I am SO happy!)
Work is all a bit much at the mo - loads of pressure and not much help.

Please excuse my lack of personals - will do better!!

More good news for the ladies on ttc, lets hope it continues month after month

I hope all is well with everyone. Ive been okay today just a little tired late afternoon.

Kai's mummy- Just a quick post to reassure you about illness when you are pregnant.
I caught that norovirus which was horendous.
Violent sickness and diarhhea i couldn't eat or drink anything without seeing it again soon after.
I was really worried for the baby and phoned my gp.
To which he said not to worry when you are ill your body will naturally look after your baby first.
Take it from me your baby will feel absolutely fine it is you that will feel bad and baby is fine in there chilling out none the wiser! x

Hi all,
Well, I'm at home today - too tired to go to work and bit dizzy again too. I called midwife and she said to go to GP for blood pressure - but I'm hoping they will take it tonight at scan - if not, I'll go tomorrow.

How are you Michie - you're very quiet! I hope all is well. It must be SOO tiring being pg with a little one too!!

Lea - hope you and DS are feeling better. I'm sure bubs is just fine - they are very strong!!

Jo - how goes it? I will try and post scan pic, but think I need DH's help! (how sad is that?!)
I can't stop looking at the scan pic - I can't believe how much you can see - little arms and legs! I have fallen in love already!
I can't believe you can watch horror films just before bed! I'm far too much of a wimp - Miss Marple is scary enough for me!!

Mandy - how are you? Hope you're feeling a bit better?
