If it helps to put your mind at rest I have just found out this morning that im pregnant and it only took a few months.I did take agnus castus and dong quai for three months and I took ovulex for the past month. Hi scooby, I'm still feeling sickly today and really tired, thanks for askin!! no chance of me putting my feet up tho with my 3 though.. my middle one has ADHD (may have mentioned before..so sorry) so he is constantly on the go, DH took him out earlier though so got couple of hours of kind of quiet. The girls are in constant need of entertainment,. they are all hyper-active so i guess this one will be aswell! I wouldn't have them any other way! well i hope you are keeping well, Emma. x

In April 2005 i had the mirena coil fitted after having my son. At first i had no problems with it, and my periods totally stopped. After a few months, it gave me horrendous stomach cramps to the point where i'd be crying with the pain. After much discussion with my partner we decided to get it removed as we wanted to try for another baby. I had it removed in January this year, and since having it removed my periods are still erratic, and aren't regular. It's been 10 months of trying to conceive now, with no luck!! Every month, i'm very upset when my period arrives. I'm begining to think that the mirena coil has left me infertile. I've been checking my cervical mucuous and taking the ovulation home tests and get a negative result everytime. I'm in termoil at the moment and don't know what to do. My GP says it's normal but everywhere i've been and read everyones periods seems to of turned back to normal after a few month. Is there anyone in my situation?

Hi gennylou!! The only advice that I can give you is that I~ took Agnus castus and dong quai it regulated my period and I got positive opk's and now I am pregnant and I got mine out in August. Also I bought ovulex and I used it for the month of October. Hope this helps.

So i went to my GP and she basically told me that i'm not ovulating and producing eggs. She prescribed me with folic acid to take until i get pregnant, if not i have to go back in spring. I'm really disheartned by this. I only wish i knew before i got my mirena coil fitted what i know now. I would never of had it fitted. I was wondering if anyone knows of anything i can take to help me ovulate?

Hi there,
I had my coil taken out in Feb last year, got married in March and in Aug this year we had a girl. It took us a fair few months to fall pregnant but if you think about the chances of the sperm reaching the egg each month I think we did well. I left it to chance to begin with but in the last month looked at my cycle and when i was most likely to fall pregnant and hey presto.
