Hi All.
This will sound like a stupid question. Can i really trust a home testing kit result?? or Am i just in denial?
I had my coil removed on 16th October 07, had a period on 26th November and on 26th Dec - yes - Boxing day i had a positive home test (in fact 3 tests cos i wanted to make sure). This will be my 3rd baby you would think i would know the signs by now. My boobs have been very tender for a few weeks but apart from a missed period nothing out of the ordinary. i dont know if it was just part and parcel of the coil being removed or am i really pregnant. I dont want to get my hopes up to find that i am in fact not pregnant.
Yours Confused

Thank you thank you
Maybe i am just in shock even though it is a week on from the test results. It is just so soon after having my coil removed i thought it would take months for a BFP as i had my coil in for nearly 5 years and i am no spring chicken any more (39 this year).
There is hope girls xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Smiler

Hi Yota,
Congrats on your BFP!!!
I had my mirena out 4th September and had AF 26th September and got my BFP 22nd October! Now that was a shock for me as it took me 3 months with my last after removal of mirena and i thought it would take at least that long so was really shocked when i got pg 1st month of trying!! but there we go, we are living proof it does happen!
All the best,
Emma. x
