Hey MD, I was prob 5 stone overweight and fell pregnant the third month of proper trying. I am 19+3 with my first baby today. Weight can be associated with some hormonal upset but isn't ususally. Good luck TTC! Shona

Im overweight and fell pregnant in my second month, my GP told me i would have to lose weight to fall on but still did. Im on baby no 3 and was overweight for 2 of those.
Like i say overweight does not mean unhealthy and i think people sometimes forget this when preaching !
Good luck xxxxxxxxxx

I have been to the docters recently and have been told that while it is not a good idea to be overweight I am still perfectly healthly so fingers crossed this will be the month !!

Hi MD, I was about 7st overweight & a size 24 when I joined the weight loss forum. I was doing the Lipotrim diet & lost almost 5st before I went on holiday at the end of last year & dropped down to a size 16/18. I did put some weight back on because I was stupid & pigged out while on holiday & when I got back home over christmas & new year so I re-started dieting & did cambrdige diet for a while & managed to loose the weight I put back on before falling pregnant. I am still over weight by around 3st, but I managed to get pregnant with very little trying! I must admit being a size 16/18 now makes me feel so much healthier & I'm not out of breath when walking up the stairs & things so I feel personally loosing the weight will help me have an easier pregnancy.
A friend of mine fell pregnant quite easy a couple of years back & she was 7st over weight also, so I wouldn't say its impossible at all. Have fun! [][]
