Definately sperm test is the way to go. If you can afford it best to try a private test they are the more accurate. Husband had 2 NHS tests come back poor. When we looked into private fertility treatment had one done at private clinic came back perfectly normal, so have wasted 18 months and still dont know the problem!! Private consultant talked through NHS results and said that it was feasible to say that the results were inaccurate because of the length of time they were left before testing ... around 2.5 hours. These results can vary on a day to day basis so if poss get a private one that you know will be right.
