I am just wanting a bit of help and information.

After 7 months of trying I got a positive result and me ad my partner where overjoyed. I last week, I was 7 weeks.

I really just need some advice becuase my local hospital and doctors have not been very helpful.

I started to bleed so I called me doctors and I was told to result and go to the surgery the next day. When I did go to the doctors I was told that they could not tell me if I had lost it I would have to wait up to two weeks to find out (they said that they needed to send off two water samples which took 5 days each to come back.) They told me if the bleeding was to get any worse I should go to my local A & E department. The bleedig did get worst and I went to A & E later that day.

When I went to the hospital they felt my stomach and told me everything seemed fine, they did a pregnancy test and they got a positive result from that but I was told to return the next day for a scan.

I went for a scan the day later and I was told that they could not see the baby so they said I must have lost it already. They did say that my womb lining was very thick though. Does anyone know why this is?

They did not provide me with any information they just seemed to want to get rid of me as quickly as posible. I have to go back on the 15th Feb for a further pregnancy test.

They did not say when I would be best to try again and what will happen to my body. I am experiancing some funny feelings in my stmomach and around me hips. Sometimes even stabbing pains down below. Is this all normal ??

Cbott - Unfortunately I can help but I really wanted to say that my thoughts are with you.

I cannot believe that the doctors and other proffessionals have treated you this way hun, I have never heard of a doctor saying you had to wait and thought they would send you for a scan straight away.

goodness..u poor thing..sound so rubbish tey do! poor u....they shud be taking ur bloods for determining ur exact HcG levels instead of doing a preg test...cos chances are u will have the hormone regardless having got to 7 weeks! i hope all is well and the bleedig wasnt anything major...but still u really have been left in the dark and thats wrong... a few gals have had probs and they have much better care and im sure one of them will tell u EXACTLY wat u shud do. good luck huinxx

Just a thought..i hada bit pain and bleeding which got worseand it ended up being diagnosed an ectopic. Im not saying this to freak you out or make you think it is definitely one but they ougt to do blood tests to find out your hormone level. Ask for it...it is disgusting that they are not treating you well enough. If the pain gets worse then you must go into the hospital.

I am sorry you have had that happen. Just as a bit of info when I had a complete m/c 4 years ago I did regular home preg tests from when I went for scan and sac was on scan, to when I went back and nothing in womb and they were always positive on the home kit, I think blood tests to test level of that pg hormone say more than urine ones. Did they do external scan? So early on they can tell more from internal scans.

My friend had opp to me tho, they couldnt see much on scan and left her two weeks and when she went back there was beating heart etc etc so do not lose hope.

Theys did a internal scan and they said that they could not see anything. I am sure I will find out on Wednesday when I go.
