WHERE ARE YOU ALL?!!!

Its quiet today..

well nothing new to say really but thought i'd start a question maybe to get replies going..

what are you all eating in these early days?
do any of you have cravings yet?
what really repulses you at the moment??

i'll start with mine:

from ov to 5wks.. craved wholemeal baps as cheese on toast with black chunky pepper on top..every day!
also bacon & egg bap in mornings which i usually hate..
rocket and spinach salad, cherry tomatoes

6wks ..its homemade veggie stew with dumplings!
had nearly every day kids were glad when i got to 7 wks and it went..!

7weeks.. tangy cheeses, esp lancashire and cheshire..
HOMEMADE MASH POTATO!!! YUM!

7 wks..ICE, didn't really eat much as was quite unwell. fizzy water, helped with sickness feeling.

8 wks.. mc donalds chicken salad deli on brown bread, had yesterday and today, give it a miss tomorrow i think!!
still have to have water and ice all the time get really upset if i cant have it!
and thats about it really, usually i eat everything and anything but struggle to find stuff i feel like eating.

really cant stand the smell of .. :
my DH's lynx.. makes me ill,
peoples garlic breath, its not usually a problem
the blue comfort fabric softner
blue carex handwash
apple shampoo i use on kids.. definate no no..
cigarette smoke or the smell of it on someones clothes or breath,
cant touch tea or coffee.. turns my stomach.

how about everyone else?

Emma. x

Hi everyone. Nice to see more people joining. Angel - I haven't had any cravings yet. Don't like the smell of garlic on people and when my dh goes to skittles and when he comes back the smell of lager is horrible. (he only has a couple of pints).

Welcome ualreadykno and lily sue.

Jessley - not sure if i'm right but i think you were on the april 2006 thread with me, There was starsign and cathyfromoz as well. I had my little gril Bria. I am now 5 weeks and 5 days with my fifth.

Still not a lot of symptoms but I don't get any really, am starting to wee a lot though.

Beautiful day here in Wiltshire too. speak later.

Good morning july/august mums. I am up with little Bria while hubby gets a lie in. Well I'm sorry to say it girls but a week today, I shall be putting up the tree and decorations. I can't wait but I am a little concerned about coming into the living room one day and finding Bria underneath the tree. She is so nosy, I imagine shes going to be investigating whats hanging on the tree. I am so excited about christmas this year as the middle two are 10 and 12 and have just realised that the big man doesn't exist (shock horror) but they are happy to keep the myth going for little Bria. ( I think secretly they still want to believe but their friends have told them differently). They believed for quite a long time though, unusual in this day and age.

I am feeling good but still doing tests (nice and strong lines) to convince myself. I lost the last baby at six weeks which is tomorrow for me and I am going to do something different tomorrow so I won't dwell or worry hopefully. I am going to sunday lunch at a local pub with my family (jade is coming too) and my cousin and her family. ( she just had a baby 4 weeks ago) so It will be lovely to be pampered.

Hope you are all well.

cold and frosty out this morning but looking lovely.

Hi everyone

Congratulations to Jessley, Lisa and ualreadyknow on your BPFs!!!!!!!!

Havent been on much last couple of days working 4 days per week until I finish on 14th Dec so am but pooped and just wanting to go to bed when I get in!!!!! Hope you are all keeping ok. My DH got my xmas present and its tickets to see Celine Dion!!!!!!!!! Am mega chuffed - am big fan. He had to check with me before booking as its May and he wasnt sure how I would feel by then so wanted to check if I thought I would be up to it. Gonna make damn sure I am Wink

Emma - Am struggling with food now Frowner Big shame for me as I usually love my grub. Very very very picky on what I can eat. Most things/thought of things making me gag. Last time with DS was limited to rice krispies for a good while. This time can manage toast with jam and what ever takes my fancy on the day which is a bit hit and miss. On way home from work this week really fancied steak chips peas and onion rings with tomato sauce (that was a must) we had to go shopping to get stuff but I was adamant couldnt have anything else. DH wanting to make Spag bol/Lasangne but cant stand the thought of that and usually like these things. Quite liking beans as well but struggling to finish a meal. Sickness hasnt fully kicked in yet just nausea but gagging every morn when clean teeth Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

We had also booked a private scan for 8th December. Main reason is that my Grandad sadly passed away this year and my parents live abroad for part of the year. We have told my parents but I have not told my sisters or grandmother. Because my parents are home for xmas we are having xmas together and with my Gran. It will be hard year for her first xmas without my Grandad so thought it would be lovely to tell her on xmas day make it special. But I was quite concerned about telling her before scan. I should be due nhs scan the week after xmas but not sure if delays with xmas or not. Either way it wont be before. I thought it would be awful to tell her and then go for scan and something be wrong and then have to give her bad news so thought for sake of £95 its money well spent. Also going to tie it in with an xmas shopping trip all going well as nearest private scan to me is Newcastle so may as wel get some xmas pressies too. Fingers crossed all ok and then we can tell the rest of close family on xmas day too.

Trad - I know what you mean about xmas tree. I know for a fact Daniel is going to have obsession with it. He is currently really into the DVD player at the minute so tree will be a big novelty. Best thing to take your mind off it tomorrow, once you get past that day you may feel bit more relaxed. x

Hope everyone else is well.

hey all....

thanks for welcoming me Smiler it's so nice to have people to talk/write to who are in the same situation it's me. nobody here knows except for my boy friend. it's all a secret from my friends and family because i know that because i am young they will disown me. so first i have to figure out what i am going to do.

angel- thanks for telling me that's normal. i was reading your posts and saw that you had a cyst. i do to right before i knew i was pregnant they told me i had one. last time i went to gyno he said it felt like it cleared up on its own but sent me for another ultrasound which i go to next week. it's just they make you drink so much water and last time before i was pregnant i couldn't hold it, so i'm really not looking forward to it this time!! half of me says don't go but i know i have to.

wow i am still shocked that it's ME who's pregnant. i always said i wanted a baby and half tried, and i thought something was wrong with me. but after 3 months of not really "trying" but not using anything, it worked. wow. me! now i'm in the situation saying " yeah you wanted to see if your body worked, but now what?" last night i feel awful because i told my boy friend i don't know if i would be a good mom or if i want to keep the baby (which i know i do). is this normal? i feel awful for saying that. i can't imagine really doing that. but i'm already having awful mood swings. things such as road rage now put me over the edge. EVERYTHING that people do annoy me!!! i keep having strange dreams about my boy friend not being a good father. but over all i guess everything is ok....i'm just trying to figure out what i'm going to do about health insurance because mine ends in december and i am not in the best money situation right now.

anyway, i hope all is well with all of you and baby dust to you all

Hello all mums-to-be and beanies!!

Well ive just read over the posts of the last pages and want to apoligise-
Billy...sorry i reposted really what you had already said, i don't know how i missed it because i remember reading the 1st and end of your post but completley missed the middle, ooopps, so sorry, wasn't overlooking you.

ok, i feel a bit better now, god i must look stupid!!

Trad... Glad to hear you sounding so perky!! I know what you mean about still doing tests! I am the same, going to leave it alone now though, obviously having seen heart beating on scan is a huge reassurance, but there is still always the tiny 'what if..'
Good to see someone is getting into the festive season!! it just feels too early! i was wondering this afternoon how long i should leave it before the tree goes up...

I must say though, have wrapped the kids pressies that came this morning and stashed them away! just waiting for the next lot!

PJ... I am exactly the same with food! the things i said were cravings in earlier posts were actually the only things i could manage to eat at that time, i gag at the thoght of most things.. esp when trying to go around asda & find something for the kids to eat, i just struggle to even look, last two days ive only managed these lovely soft rectangle pizza's from asda; just cheese and tomato on it, and yeo valley organic live strawberry yoghurt- normally cant eat the stuff so v.weird, and orange squash with fizzy water to drink, its awful not being able to just eat what i normally would,, lol, i lived off cornflakes for the 1st 5 months of being pg with my 1st DD! surprised she never came out looking like a cornflake!

Hello and welcome to jessley and lilysue.. sorry if i have already welcomed you, my head isn't right today!!

youalredykno ... all your feelings and thoughts are normal in early pregnancy,, especially as a young mum to be, how old are you if you don't mind me asking, i myself was a young mum, only 18 when my 1st was born- ok its not young these days i suppose- a girl here had one at only 14.. omg. but a problem shared is a problem halved,, so the saying goes!! so if you ever need to talk...

well i think ive prob took a whole page to myself so.. i'm off!

Take care everyone, and wrap up warm, its bloody frrreeeeeeeezzzzzzziinnn!!!!

Emma and k'bean. x

Hello all you July and August ladies, have you any room for another one?! I got my BFP last Thursday on my 33rd birthday - what a fantastic present, I don't think I'll ever have a better present!!

I'm due on 30 July, so just scraped into the July thread! DH is 32 and it'll be our first.

Have been lurking for a while but it's taken this long to post because I keep thinking something will go wrong, like I'm sure lots of people do. I don't want to tempt fate, but it'll be good to have some ladies in the same position to talk to. Am soooo nervous every time I go for a wee :0( Had a Mirena coil removed on 23 September and 2 AFs since then - but GP told me it'd be a few months till my womb lining would be thick enough to support a PG so I keep thinking my little bean will come unstuck (please no).

So - that's enough of my ramblings - sorry, I do go on a bit. Hope you have all had a fab weekend, lol

Hi and welcome to the board sezzywelshy!!
congrats on your BFP!! Smiler

Its only natural to be so nervous i'm on my 4th and i think i'm worst this time for worrying etc, had my mirena out 6th sept and only had 1 AF since removal,.. so it was a lot quicker than i expected also, it took me 3 months with my last (post mirena also!) so expected the same again! so shocked to say the least.
Hope you have a HH 8/9 Months!!

Its a bit quiet at the moment but i'm sure within a month or so when everyone starts feeling a little better it will pick up!

Hello to everyone else,
its just a quickie as need to get all kids bathed and bed within the next hour! Roll Eyes

omg.. posted that before i even finished.. its the hormones.. Red Face

Hi Emma, hope bathtime was not too splashy, bet it was though! Though by 8 and 7 I guess they are keeping the water in the bath more??? Oooo - can't wait to find all these things out over the years!!

Good to know I'm not totally abnormal with my worrying - DH is so calm about all this it's freaky but then he doesn't have the responsibility of keeping the bean stuck, his work is done LOL!

It's so weird being PG - already got MS, lots of saliva, sore bóóbs (is there an abbrev, for that?) - right now it's all novel and I'm just thankful I've got all those pg hormones but ask me again in a week or so!

I've just been over the old posts to try and get to know everyone - read about your scan - PHEW! I bet you were relieved. Hope that cyst doesn't trouble you though.

Love your tickers, and where do you get all your little faces from?

TTFN
