Sorry ladies havent time for pesonals. Spent all night downloading DH's pics from phone onto computer as its playing up and scared I will lose them. Its taken hours and I was planning on having a good old DHH catch up!!! Never mind

3d/4d scans are great. We had one with Babybond with DS. Have tried to attach pic not sure if it will work tho so here goes....

Hope everyone well. Congrats to those who have had scans and all is well and good luck to those who have upcoming scans. Weve booked and private one fo sat as nhs one wont be til after xmas. We are staying overnight and going to tie in with xmas shopping (providing all is well).

Im ok. Not actually bing sick unlike last time apart from a couple of occasions but feeling like it all the time and completely off food.

On the gender front I said early on last time it was a boy and I was right nothing factual to base on tho - like you say 50/50 chance!!!

Take care

Hi ladies, have been off work for a few days so am trying to catch up on all the goings on so if I miss anyone out please forgive me!!! Big Grin

Sezzy, am so glad you got to see your little beanie and evrything is ok that must be a great relief. I'm gonna have to wait until 10-12 weeks which will prob equate to mid janueary and keep thinking I'll go and there will be nothing there and they'll be like stupid women isn't even pregnant! Big Grin Paranoid I know!

Jessley, I hope your sickness isn't getting any worse and you have found a way to curb it slghtly. Most people I talk to say you got to eat little and often to stop the blood sugar crashing...

Tra, how terrible about waiting til 20 weeks, I think that is ridiculous...I though I was bad having to wait til after xmas...

Emma, Lol about Mil, its not nice having people making you feel even worse as i find i am extremely irritable with everyone especially the ones who annoyed me before I was pregnant!!!

As for me am feeling ok, went to doctors on Tuesday to get the ball rolling and she was really nice and even examined me to make sure I wasn't further on than I thought. She gave me a book called Emma's diary which is really useful and good reading...We worked out that my actual due date is likely to be 01 August 2008 so that makes me just six weeks tommorow so I suppose am a bit early for morning sickness. Felt a bit dodgy this morning but nothing too bad, am sort of in debate about whether I want it or not as its good to know evrything progressing but is gonna be hard to hide it at work if i have to keep running to loo to throw up!! Roll Eyes

The other thing I was wondering about was has anyone had any brown mucusy stuff, I wouldn't even call it spotting just brown tinged mucus.. Frowner I just went too toilet and noticed this on toilet paper and made me a bit worried...Is this normal!! One or two wipes and it was gone. I'm trying not to worry as I know is probably normal.

Anyone any ideas on what they are carrying? Me and DH keep calling beanie a her for some reason!!

Stay safe ladies

Hi ladies,

how are you all?

everything is good here except i've been having trouble sleeping at night for some reason. and sometimes i feel sick. but that's about it.

my bf & i have a strong feeling it's a boy. i have a weird feeling idk why. i'm not sure if i want to find out what it is. in a way i think it would be good not to find out so it could be a huge surprise but the other part of me is saying to find out so i can start buying the appropriate stuff. they have so many cute clothes for boys and girls and if i don't find out what it is i have to get neutral stuff. so hmmm i think i will want to find out.

i really truely dread having an ultrasound because of the water you have to drink. that's awful! i know you have to have a full bladder so they can see the baby, but it's torture for me!!! and then they push on your bladder! i guess i thoguht if you were pregnant you don't have to drink the water cuz your baby will just show up but i guess i was wrong. idk i have trouble holding liquids as it is, idk if i can deal with holding it for an hour and then have then pushing right over my bladder! we shall see.

anyway, hope all is well with you all

Well what a change from the quiet early days!
I will update the chart later on today...

Firstly welcome to kirsty! nice to have another newbie!

Sezzy...Love your posts they always make me laugh!! Razzer
my MIL really does drive me mad.. cant even think about her at the moment.. Mad
Glad you are feeling bit more chipper!!!

Jessley...Thay is so weird that you have a craving for chicken!! me aswell!!! Asda are doing well in the chicken salad pre-packed sarnies department thanks to me, thats all ive fancied all week!
And as regards the sickness being different with girls and boys i was sicker, i say sicker- feeling ill and having symptoms earlier with the girls, and never fely good while carrying them.. with DS i started feeling ill couple of weeks later, wasn't anywhere near as bad and i never needed to sleep in the day, i felt great at 11 weeks, and could eat anything and everything!
So i am probably having a girl this time!!! but just dont want to admit it! its not a strong feeling of definatley knowing.. i probably secretley want a boy! then i will have 2 of each, but i am honestly not bothered,, so lond as it healthy..blah blah.. as they say, lol.

ok, i am going to end it here and come bk later to do others personals, went to bed at 12 last night, awake at 3.42am- needed loo how anoying, now its started! -back to bed and i laid there for an hour, then decided i was starving hungry so got up at just before 5.00 and had 2 pieces of toast and hot sugary milk! mmmmmmmm. then i checked my ebay stuff that i'm selling for a friend and realised it had enced 2 days ago, whoooops, i am not usually that bad, so have sent all 7 people emails apoligising... tut tut.
Then thought i would come on here and check on you girlies who are prob all just getting up now! well, you with kids already! lol.
My alarm will be going off in a bit so will go up and switch it off so i dont disturb the 'happy' Dh.. oh, it was our 9th wedding anniversary yesterday!! so he is a bit miffed i think coz he never got his 'pudding' pmsl.. if you get what i mean, Wink ah, isnt it a shame!!!!

well i'll luv ya's and leave ya..i'm off for my bath..
*Yawn*...so tired now.

Emma. xx

Hello july and August? mums.

My, you were up early this morning angel, hope you catch up on your sleep. I would be like walking death. I love my bed.

Welcome Kirsty, how old is your other child, boy or girl.

I have doctors tomorrow to register pregnancy and I am going to push for a early scan as I have just had two miscarriages and this pregnancy is being dated from the first day of the last bleed which was a miscarriage so I think I have grounds to want to see the little person and make sure they are ok. I have had a few af feelings low in my stomach like its about to start but I am nearly 8 weeks and they say that can happen when period would be due. I have no pain or bleeding though so good news. I tell you, it doesn't get any easier with the more you have. If anything its harder cos you think you're pushing your luck asking for one more healthy child.

Been looking back on the chart from the start and there are a few people that haven't been on for a while, hope they are ok and just busy busy.

If nic doesn't come back on, will it be an idea just to start a new thread for july and August and start writing on that so we've got a good size group. Anyone fancy doing that? or do you want to leave it for nic to change.

4d scan. I would love one but they don't do them near me. We would have to travel quite a long way and to be honest, it would take even longer because I can't stand motorways, they frighten me and I just close my eyes. (hubby drives obviously lol). people can be maniacs. We'd have to take smaller roads.

I have a craving for bacon right this minute so I am going to have a bacon sarnie for dinner.
yum yum. Hubby away tonight working so simple tea, meatballs and chips. I have to go now. I just have bacon on my mind, I can't concentrate, off to have some. Speak later.

Hi Ladies, another day forward in our little journeys!! Big Grin

Firstly a big welcome to Kirsty, its nice to have another on board! Big Grin

Ualreadykno, Know what you mean about thinking you know the sex, me and DH keep referring to the bean as a she and her so will see however not sick yet and according to Emma and a lot of perople this is a big symptom of carrying girl!! I think me and DH had decided that we would like to know and are hoping to go for a private scan after 20 weeks so should be able to tell then… What about the rest of you ladies have you decided whether you want to know?

Tra, am so sorry about miscariiages that must have been devastating for you and DP. I think you have every right to have an early scan as it will put your mind at rest and you have done so well to get to 9 weeks without one. Definitely don’t take no for an answer!! Am hoping this one is a very sticky one for you!

Emma, lol about hubby not getting ‘pudding’! My hubby is the same, I think he thinks he’s never gonna get any ever again as am always shattered by about 8PM!! Roll Eyes

Hi to sezzy as well, hope your feeling good!!

As for me am ok, starting to feel a bit sicky in the mornings and even later as well, also got quite a bit of heartburn and (o)(o) still killing me. Frowner No new symptoms to list as yet, anyone else?

Talk soon Big Grin

Lisa

Hellooo all you lovely ladies!

Angel - WEIRD I've been eating loads of chicken salad sandwiches too! [mind you I've been pretty much craving anything with carbs in it - bread, bread bread yum yum! ] And what were you doing having less than 4 hours sleep last night???? Eeker This pg malarkey makes you tired enough as it is, without putting yourself through that. Bet you're in bed already tonight, if not why not??

Trad, good luck with persuading the doctor to give you an early scan tomorrow. If he/she has got any sense they will see it is a good idea just to give you that peace of mind. Let us know how you get on. Good idea about starting a new thread btw - why don't you kick it off when you are letting us know how you got on at the doctor's tomorrow? We can leave the last post on this thread as 'come and join us in our new home' or something so people who haven't been by in a while can come and join us. We need to do it soon cos all those August mums will be getting their BFPs about now.

Hi Lisa, I think it's different for different people, my MIL was really sick with her four boys and Angel was sick with girls. Sorry to hear you're suffering from the ADS (all day sickness). Me too unless I am constantly eating. I've managed to put 4lb already. NO chance I can blame the bean or my growing BBs I suppose?! Not sure about that brown mucousy (sp.) stuff, as I've not had a baby before, but I've read lots of stuff about that being quite normal esp in the first two months when the little beanie is bedding down nice and tight. Also you can get a bit when your first couple of AFs would've been due, your body gets a bit confused bless it. I don't think you need to worry unless it's really heavy and nasty.

PJ, did you get all your pics sorted?

Ualreadykno - would NOT be funny if one of us wee'd on the table Red Face but they only make you drink a pint I've heard which isn't too bad.

HI to all the other July ladies who might be nervously stalking until they feel safely past the danger zone... lol to you all and lots of sticky glue for your beanies.

As for me, I went to see the midwife today, she gave me 2 August as my due date so unless Trad sorts us a July/Aug thread you ladies are gonna have to evict me! Frowner She's coming to our house on 19 December to do all the big questioning thing. Now WHY would she not have done that today??? Seems a bit odd to me. BEtter make sure I have a good clean the weekend before Roll Eyes And symptom wise, I have never known tiredness like this (yeah yeah you experienced mums - I know it's worse when you have the pg tiredness AND one or more toddlers interrputing your date with the zzzz's!) I've slept like never before, I'm even managing some daytime sleeps, which are unheard of for me. Still, I'm not complaining, as long as my little beanie is holding on I'm happy to roll with his punches!

Speak tomorrow all, hope you all get some quality shut-eye tonight, specially you Angel!

LOL Xx

Michie - if you're still stalking this thread, hope you'll be joining us on our new July/August thread soon... wishing you loads of sticky glue and sending lots of baby dust CMON YOU MIRENA LADIES!

Hey Kirstie, it sunk in with you yet?

Hey everyone

Thanks for being so welcoming :-)

as i said this will be my second baby, i have a son already kaihden hes 17 months :-) such a wee cutie!

went for a scan on thursday past as i had problems in my pregnancy with my son had cholestasis which affects ur liver so i knew id be monitored again from early on,

the scan detected the pregnancy sack and yolk sac inside but aparantly was too early to see the baby (put my dates back)they had me as 5+5 so im now due 1st aug instead of 28th july which i originally thought. was really disheartened though that i couldnt see the baby and although they said its normal i cant help but worry

doesnt help the fact that my boobs arent sore any longer n i dont feel sick or anything,

i have another scan in 2 weeks and im hoping and praying everything is ok,

has anyone else had a similar experience??

Kirsti xxxx
