Just curious if anyone out there is doing WW and how they're getting on? I'm thinking of starting it to keep my eye on my cals.

Hi. I've been doing WW since 18th May having unsuccessfully tried the CD and LL for the second time! Am also TTC ( have posted a few things on here before but mostly just lurk and learn!).
The WW plan is very easy, I've lost almost a stone since I started almost a month ago. There are two plans, one which you basically count points each day and the other where you eat from a 'No Count'food list but also have a set amount of points to eat in addition over the week. The Switch handbook is really quite good, I'm glad I joined just for that but I go to the meeting each week as it helps me to keep focused.
Hope this helps a little, anything more just ask.
xx [Smiler]

Thanks Lizzie! I'm glad you replied. Don't feel like you have to lurk! [Smiler]

Congrats on your weight loss so far - that is just brill! Do you prefer NC or points? I did join WW awhile ago but can't seem to find my Switch handbook. I might join again tonight just for the group support. I wasn't too keen on the leader the last time but I heard she's now changed and there's a meeting tonight so i might just give it a whirl!

I agree Faiza - I think they're products are full of rubbish. I'm going to allow myself a small 2-3 point treat a day and the rest of my food will be as 'homemade' as poss!

Hi Stacey

I'm still trying my hardest to follow the weight watchers program whilst I'm pg, just trying not to put on excess weight as my BMI was 33/34 before I fell pg so gotta be a bit careful.

Midwife has also told me you can follow slimming world whiolst pg, so whathever plan you prefer really.

I'm not going to the classes now, but have joined weight watchers on-line and get receipies from there, I also bought a WW cooking book from the classes when I used to go which has some really god receipes.

I occasionally shop on line with tescos and I'm sure I received an email from them saying that they do something similar to WW online too and I think you can collect Tescos clubcard points with it too.

Good luck hun

lov
