My husband and myself have been trying since July 2003 and my periods seem to of finally got into a routine. Last month and Febs bleed were at the same time of the month. We made love during my fertile time last week regualry and I then expereinced pain in my lower tummy(Not period pain) also I have being feeling sick and I think my boobs have got slightly bigger as my bra is quite tight which is wasn't before. Does anyone think I am going mad or do you think I might be pregnant? My period is not due until the 24th April but I wonder if I am just imaging it.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Long explanation coming up - so be prepared to be educated !! ;-) I tried to concieve my little bundle (due next friday) for 2 years before I was successful and each month I'd do what you are doing and analyse all my symptoms or lack of symptoms and I'd drive myself crazy! The problem is that after you ovulate, your body acts as if you are pregnant until it knows for certain that no egg is going to implant. The hormone progesterone takes over from the eostrogen and causes all those symptoms that might or might not be pregnancy! Useful hey?? It is typical to experience sore breasts, bloatiness, and a whole load of other "might be" pregnancy symptoms in the 2 weeks between you ovulating and your period starting.
There honestly is no telling at the moment if you are pregnant or not - in fact if your period isn't due until 24th then its likely that the fertilized egg hasn't even implanted in you womb yet - it takes an average of 7 days.
I hope this helps - please try not to drive yourself crazy with the am I or aren't I thing. It doesn't help - and a lot of women who tried for a long time will tell you that the month they finally got pregnant was a month they didn't think they had any hope in. In my case my hubby and I were only together for 3 days in the month - so we'd written it off.
I hope you are successful soon

Hi Jules Thank you very much for replying to my question. You have put my mind at rest and I am going to take your advice, you sound like you know what you are talking about. I really appreciate your sensible advice and we have both read it and we are going to try and not go over the top every month about symptons.
Good Luck with the birth of your baby next friday and I hope everything goes really well for you both. Let me know how what you have.
Thanks again Jules Claire. P.S If you get fed up bewteen now and then leave a message and I will reply to it.
