Sezzy, hope everything is going ok for you hunni and sending you lots of pain free labour vibes. xxxx
Ok update from me. Friday morning midnight ish, had loads of cramping pains and couldnt get comfy, struggled on until 5am and i couldnt take anymore so i phoned the labour ward who told me to go straight in. was put on monitor to find out i have an irritable uterus. Doctor examined me and said i was 1.5cm dialated and cervix was 2cm long. He then said that he would leave me on the monitor for an hour and see what happens with the pains as they were exactly where the placenta is. he then said he would burst my waters but after an hour the pains had subsided so he brought in a consultant who said that baby's head was too far up and if they broke my waters there was a strong chance that i would end up with a c section which im trying to avoid. So the upshot of it is.... after i was poked, prodded and messed about with, bloods taken and battered and bruised, I WAS SENT HOME but i have my inducement date for next sunday *3rd August* so it's not all bad. But im still having cramps and tightenings so maybe i will go in on my own after all.
Hope everyone else is doing ok, babies too Jess xxxx

OH its waaaaayyyy too hot.. but i'm not complaining...(yes i am, lol!!)
Sezzy.. hope you and bambino are doing well, and you are sipping tea and eating toast!!! Let us know soon, the wait is too much!!!!
Jess.. Great to hear from you hun! Cant believe you are still preggers though! I thought you'd have had your lil one with you now! But at least you have a date and thats something to get to! Like you said you may go before then, i think you will! Usually a good prod and poke gets thinks moving- well for me it worked! Well either way, good luck and sending painfree labour vibes your way!!!!
Waving to Michie and Jo,.. our list is getting shorter by the day ladies! Are you getting ready for your turn???!!!
well i will no doubt be checking back on later, going to change mr. poopy pants bum then TRY go to argos, i need a pillow to support me when feeding, my back is killing me- no suprise really the weight on him!
No news from Sezzy then, hope everything went well hun. Can't wait to hear from you and find out if baby is blue or pink!
Jessley, ooh I thought there was going to be another birth announcement. hope you're not too frustrated. Great you have an induction date although I agree I think baby will come sooner.
Hi Angel, hope you manage to get into town. Good luck with the moses basket tonight.
Hi to everyone else. I'm soooo bored and fed up which is silly as I could have 5 more weeks of this, need to snap out of it. My feet are all swollen and uncomfortable with the heat too . Anyway absolutely NOTHING going on with me. A few BH here and there and I get lots of cramping when I'm lying in bed but it must just be where the baby is lying. Poor Ben has a stinking cold bless him, in this heat too.
Anyway will pop back later for news.

hello, just a quick one for now as going to go feed Scarlett.
Excellent news about Sezzy. hope she is alright.....well done matey, we said it would come when you didn't expect it LOL. Can't wait to hear about HER!!!! LOL
Jess.....At least te end is in sight for you too, you will probably find now you hvae an induction date things happen naturally.....hope so for you, fingers crossed. xx
Angel....((())) hugs for lack of sleep, my night wasn't much good either. Scarlett in bed by 9pm but then awake form 1.30 until 4am then awake again from 6am. Ive put her into her cot now as she just didn't seem to like her basket. She seemed to settle so much better last night in the evening and was only awake for the time she was had she had terible wind bless her, her little legs were coming up and she was really crying. I bought a V shaped pillow and it has made feeding much more comfy, I also sleep with it at night which is lovely. Hope you managed to get out to argos. As for you question i'm with you mate, i'm not sure whether i'm expecting too much with regards to routines..Scarlett's feeding pattern is up and down. Also do you wake Mason form his naps if he sleeps past a feed???? or if he has slept for long???? I never know whether too or not.
My pump came this morning and it is brilliant!!!!! I have made a discovery which I thought was the case, my milk supply is very low so i'm hoping if I keep using the pump it will increase it. Scarlett is due a feed now (been about 3hrs) so ive just used it and managed to pump off 3onz altogether in 10mins. I emptied both completly so I think thats why she has been unsettled and wanting to constantly feed all afternoon and evening, she isn't getting enough, no wonder she has been downing her top ups bless her. Not sure how many times a day I should use the pump to get my supply up and have extra so that I don't have to top up with formula....any ideas would be appreciated.
right off to feed miss S
hugs to all, back later xxxx

Hi Pobs, well I had the opposite problem, which was due to expressing between feeds for the freezer (which i never used). I ended up having too much milk and would literally spray Ben in the face before he got a chance to latch on!!!
So i guess if you are feeding scarlett every 3 hrs then express an hour and a half after a feed maybe twice a day and build it up until you are happy with your milk supply.
I'm sure there will be some good tips on the NCT website actually. good luck.

Kate- I feel sorry for you to still be preg in this heat it must be really uncomfortable. Hope you are coping ok though. I think the heat does make Ciaran uncomfortable his daddy gets hot easily so i think he has got that trait from him.
Pobs- I can't believe Scarlett was awake for so long i can't get my lazy boy to stay awake even for a feed. Until about 10 at night then he won't settle for a couple of hours then he sleeps for 3 then back to sleep and it is pretty much the same for the whole day. He is so chilled! How is the scar healing up buy the way?
Sezzy- Oh my god that is how my labour started my water's broke then a few hours later i was in full on labour!
Angel- Your little man sounds like mine he won't go in his own bed unless he is swaddled and i just end up giving up and putting him in with me to get some kip. But i then am aware of him there so i actually don't move an inch all night which is quite uncomfortable. I was looking forward to not having a bump so i could spread myself but i am more restricted than before! My Ciaran feeds every 3 hours and not a moment before or later so i think he has a routine and he seems to calm down as son as the bib goes on. I think he is going to be a big boy!
Jessley- Here's hoping your baby makes an appearance before you have have to be induced.
I can't remember now girls what was my prediction for Sezzy. Was it a boy or girl?
Anyway has anyone else been receiving a shit full of clothes from people? Everyone has gone mad i am running out of wardrobe and drawer space. He has loads of newborn,0-3 months and 3-6 months he has more clothes than me! His Grampy even got him a rugby baby grow with our team logo and 'future kicker' on it! And his other Grampy got him an Irish rugby kit for 6 months old. I hope he likes rugby! Love Amy and Ciaran. xxx
Me- 28 DH-26
Ciaran Jacob was born Thursday 10th July at 10.38am. Weighing 7lb2oz.
Hope you have all had a good day today. Miss Scarlett has slept since lunchtime, I can't believe it. Ive hardly been able to wake her for her feeds, must be the weather and all the days she has been so unsettled catching up with her. I think as well the top ups have helped to fill her where as before she was comstantly searching for boobie with her mouth..so funny when she does that. So she is up in bed and i'm sat with the monitor to hand waiting for her to realise she has had far to much sleep and start the partying again LOL.
Amy.... IKWYM about people buying so much for the babies. Scarlett has been so spoilt and I don't know where to put it all. SHe also has been bought alot of bigger sized clothes too which is really handy. Alot of the pretty summer stuff she has been bought is still way too big so i'm just hoping she will get the use out of them. Sounds like you have a real placid ickle boy there. I was the same couldn't wait to get reid of my bump so I could move about the bed but my problem is our bed is sooooo nosiy (metal frame) that you only have to move a leg and its sounds terrible and makes Scarlett stir....great cotraception though LOL
Kate thanks for the advice regarding the expressing, I was hoping to get abit of a stock pile up in the frezzer. Its been really nice to see DF feed her today and he really enjoyed it too
spoke too soon.... I hear a stiring from the monitor. Funny isn't it.....I know its a good thing she is asleep upstairs and I hvae been trying so hadr this week to achieve it but when she is I miss her and want to snuggle.
wishing you all good nights rest.....love Pobs xxx

Kate, As you have been so good doing chart.. thought maybe i should relieve you of your duties now lol!! unless you still want to do it!! just thought that maybe as things gearing up for you maybe you could do without the hassle of it? or do alternate days til baby arrives? up to you hun..
well mason has finally settled,
pobs.. well done for getting a good day with missy!! here we go for the long haul night..
Still no news from Sezzy, oooh I'm desperate to hear from her. Hope all went well hun x
Angel, I'm happy to share doing the stats with you hun until lil un arrives. Don't think she's coming anytime soon though
Pobs, good luck with the expressing. It worked really well for me with Ben. I hope both you and Angel have a better night tonight.
Amy, I've asked for people not to buy clothes although I'll probably still get loads anyway. I think baby clothes are a really personal thing. I got stuff when I had Ben he either grew out of before it got worn or stuff that I personally just didn't like.
Well i think thats everyone who's been on since my last post. Hugs to everyone else.
I'm really suffering in the heat, my fingers, feet and ankles are so swollen and uncomfortable. I'm getting no signs of an imminent appearence from my lil girl. I can't even entertain the thought of going overdue.
Anyway thats about it from me, will of course pop back on in case Sezzy's been on with news.
