Afternoon all,

How are we all.....hot, hot, hot?????? Hope our lovely pregnant ladies are managing to stay cool.
We had a better night. Scarlett kindly slept from 12 til 3 then from 3.45 til 6am then went back after that feed til 8am. Boy do I feel better for a little more sleep. She was a little monkey though and was awake from 4.30pm til 12 midnight though, she just wouldn't give in and go to sleep and was soooo cranky. Ive never known a newborn to be so worried about missing out and fighting their sleep like she does....she is stuborn, can't think where she gets it from Red Face LOL She is asleep in her pram in the dinning room at the mo so ive had a quick whizz round with the polish and anti bacteria wipes, put the washing on, hung some out and cleared up. Was so tempted to get the hoover out as the place really needs it but thought "NO don't be stupid" the last thing I want to do is split me wound open...another 3 weeks then I can hoover to my hearts content. God i'm sad but I know after Kates post she will understand LoL.

Angel....Poor ickle Mason and his colic. I'm the same its made me keep going with the feeding and I hvae to confess i'm a little selfish...the weight has been dropping off me. I'm back in my clothes already YAY!!!! My electric pump was £15 and £4 P&P so yeah alot cheaper, should be here tomorrow can't wait. Here are some links for you, slightly cheaper than the shops. The one ive got is the Medele mini pump. would have loved the double one but out of my price rang. My friend has the medele and said its really good. (SP??) Hope these help.

Amy.... I know what you mean about swaddling in this wheather. Last night Scarlett just had a vest on and I swaddled her in a large clean muslin square as they are very thin and light. maybe worth a try???

Kate.... Get so excited when I see you've posted....sure your time is coming up very shortly hun with how you have been feeling. Ive never heard of the bottles you suggested, where did you get then from??? I have got the tommie tippee closer to nature ones with the anti-colic teats. Sounds like Ben had fun at centre parks..i'm a tade jealous LOL

Sezzy....Sending baby "not today but come tomorrow" vibes LOL Families hay???? Good news beanie has slightly shifted, hopefully she will move completly from your back.

Paula...sending you "energy" vibes to get through this last bit of the pregnancy journey. Try fruit pastel ice lollies, worked a treat for me LOL.

hello to all our other mummies...guess you are being kept busy with your new bundles xxxxx

i'm off to eat a snack (hungry yet again!!) and check on my gorgeous girls, DD no 1 is upstairs drawing.

waves for now Pobs xxx

Oh my god girls, my waters have broken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ABout an hour ago!!!!! So Kate and PObs, hopefully we won't have to wait too long to see if you're right. NOt sure if I'm having contractions, having some strongish period pains that spread into my back and a bit down my legs, that's not what I was expecting TBH.

I'll be back on later hope you are all well sorry for no personals but hopefully you'll all forgive me this once Smiler

Sezzy..hope things all went smoothly with the homebirth! and how on earth did i not know you had planned a homebirth? last i knew was you couln't decide whether to go to the unit or hospital?? must've missed it somewhere lol!

well mason spent another night in bed with us again.. i give up! i will try him with the basket when it cools down a bit,
does anyone elses baby have a predictable routine to breastfeeding at this age or am i a bit too early to be expecting that yet? think i will ask over on may/june parenting.. lurkers..your comments are appreciated on this one!!

kate.. any signs of things kicking off with you yet?

cant wait for news from sezzy.. i will be on and off here all day like an excited lil kid til she posts!
