to all you girls who have started maternity leave ENJOY IT!!! relax and veg out a little while you can.

as for me i had similar symptoms to angel, the crippling pain and the need to clean everything in sight yesterday but it seems to have calmed down.
now i have *sorry TMI* mild sickness and diorreah *spelling* so feeling pretty rough this morning.
my belly has suddenly shot out from nowhere, i was concerned that i wasnt as big as i was with my other two daughters but this one must have been hiding because she's definately noticeable now.
is anyone else suffreing from a pulling pain near their groin area? this is really painful and can catch your breath when you stand up.

well i'd better be off to snack on something before i pass out seeing as though i skipped breakfast this morning *slap me*

Hi to Emma and congratulations. This is definately the place to come if you have any worries the girls on here are really helpful so ask anything you want.

Angel- I am actually getting used to this now.
I have had the washing machine on permanently with curtains and nets and now the sofa covers.
I am starting ion the baby clothes next week and have finally started my hospital bag!
Well you are officially late now mate i hope the sweep does the trick.
How did you find it i am a bit worried if i have to have one but are they not as bad as they sound?

Sezzy- You sound like you have started the mat leave like me with loads of random washing!
How are you finding being off weird feeling isn't it?

Ualreadyknow- I am not worried about the birth yet either because i don't think i have faced that i have to do it.
I don't really have to do i?

Well i haven't been on the past couple of days cause dh has been off and i'm making sure he takes me out of the house whilst he is here.
He is working 6 day week next week so i want as much time togther as poss really.
I can't believe i have only been off a week it feels like forever!

Yes i am getting alot of pulling pain under my tummy the midwife told me last time it is the ligaments stretching where the baby is engaging.
I have the midwife on Tuesday so i'm hoping the pain means he is getting further down!

just a quickie to let u all know that emma had a big healthy 10lbs 1oz baby boy this morning at 2.25am! Mason George!! labour was very quick 1hour and 40 mins!!!! although emma lost quite a bit of blood both are doing well, im sure she'll be on as soon as she gets home to fill us all in on the rest.

Hello ANYONE THERE!!!!! Mummy No 1 checking in

Sorry its taken me til now to come on but I didn't come home until yesterday afternoon and was feeling absolutley dreadful. Anyway here I am......
Baby Scarlett Daisy was born by c section at 15.08 wednesday weighing in at 8lb 3onz (not as big as they though and a bit bigger than Amy's prediction) Things weren't as plain sailing as they should have been. Unfortuntley our little one didn't want to come out even though the sun roof had been opened for her as it were LOL they ended up having to use forceps to get her out and an increadible amount of force so we are both bruised and battered..me especially. In quite abit of pain and discomfort but my word it was worth it..she is absolutley gorgeous, I shall post pic's to prove it in a minute LOL.
I didn't end up going to theatre until after lunch as they were busy with emergencies so it was a very boring, long wait but it all seems a long distant memory now. I'm breast feeding which is going really well although its very demanding, she has fed for a couple of hours solid this afternoon. Hopefully my milk will come in tomorrow and she will be more satisfied...boobies feel alot fuller today. Last night she slept from 3am to 6.30 straight through which I was very gratful of as the previous two nights in hospital she hadn't slept at all.

glad to hear Angel is doing well...my word what a big baby, hope she is doing ok after her blood loss. i bleed heavy the first day/night but hardly anything now. Midwife came this morning, all ok apart from Scarlett is a little jaundice today and my wound is slightly inflamed. Rested in bed until 1pm today so hopfully thats helped the healing process.

Haven't had chance for a proper catch up girls I just scanned read to see if any other babies had been born but sending you happy, labour vibes. Hope to be back on tomorrow but my hands are now full lol. off to upload some photos and take my pain relief...boy it hurts !!!!!!

Glad you are well pobbs, what a beautiful name your daughter has. Get as much rest as you can and well done on the breastfeeding. Fab news. Lets hope we hear from angel soon.
