Thank you so much for the well wishes.
Just got back from my scan and everything is fine.
Baby has changed loads in 2 weeks it has a nice strong heartbeat and is growing well. Smiler
The nurse said it is measuring 10w1d but i'm sticking with 10w.
Now the but! There is another area of bleed for a change so i will still get my 12w scan but so far the bleeding has not affected the baby in any way so the doctor has told me that is a very good sign.
We saw the little fighter move aswell which was amazing and i cried like a baby but so what. Roll Eyes
I am just glad that i am past the stage that i lost the last one that in itself is a comfort.
So roll on 2 weeks!
I think that it is best to expect some more bleeding and try to remind myself that it has not affected the baby so far so hopefully it won't at all.
Fingers crossed for my bean i'm so proud of it already!
Off to work now unfortuneatly so speak to you soon.
Love Amy. xxxxxxxxxx

Hey girls sorry to bring a downer but I started to bleed (bright red)yesterday, bacame quite heavy with a couple of liver looking clots but today has slowed right down and has sort of stopped, just spotting when I wipe. I am not hopeful but am going to bath tomorrow when they open for a scan. I can't see how I would bleed like that without it meaning anything. Will let you know how we get on.

Trad

Hope you are all well.

Hi girls.
Hope everyone is ok and starting to feel a bit more human.

Pyjamagirl- Was thinking about getting one of those dopplers if all is well at next scan but i'm scared i might get abit obsessive and attach it to me permanantly! Roll Eyes

Tra- Please don't lose hope i know it is good to brace yourself but it is not over yet.
I so understand that any type of bleeding when you are pregnant is indescribable but women do bleed and still go on to have healthy babies.
There are no guarantees (like the doctor's keep tellng me) but a bleed is not the end of the road.
If you look at beanazoid's thread for november she had an actual haemorrhage and all was well.
I know a scan is the only way to confirm things but try and relax you never know.
An 11 weeker is a tough little one!
Best of luck for tomorrow i know how nervous you will be. x

Pobs- Good luck to you for tomorrow aswell for the 12 week scan it will be a milestone for us to get that one! Smiler

I'll be on tomorrow checking up on the 2 awaiting scans so let us know as we will be on tenderhooks too.
Lots of luck and love.

Hi everyone. Thanks for your messages of support, they mean alot. I had a lot more bleeding last night, bright red particularly after a bowel movemetnt (sorry tmi) and went to bed sad, upset and unable to sleep. Went to bath this morning, with loads of other women sat looking sad around us. Had an internal probe scan and there it was, our baby with a lovely heartbeat. I cannot believe it. How could i be bleeding so much red blood and it not affect the baby, basically they don't know either, said it could be a vein bleeding with the pressure of everything being squashed up or the cervix but she said not to worry, everything looks perfect and not to worry about the bleeding, it will eventually stop. God i'm floating and I'm going to have a kip soon, I haven't properly slept since Friday night. Obviously the nurse said she doesn't have a crystal ball and she doesn't know what will happen now but she said the baby is not being affected by this bleeding so onwards and upwards.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.

Tracey, Dave, Jade, Liam, Cara and Bria.

p.s. they have also put me back to 9 weeks 2 days but I don't care, at least I am something weeks and something days. Hooray.

Tra- I am so pleased for you if we have learned anything on this site it is that bleeding does not mean the end.
The nurse is right and that they can't predict what will happen but it is such a comfort to know that at the here and now the baby is doing well.
God knows what causes bleeding and i'm not sure knowing makes it any less worrying.
But here's to a stress free pregnancy for you from now on!
I am still getting brown stuff and expect another bleed going by my last scan, but i have had that at all 3 scans so i am going to try and not worry if it happens.
I don't know what will happen for sure but the baby has been fine from 2 heavy bleeds and 1 small one so i'm trying to relax now. (practically impossible!)
I am sure we will all feel a bit better once we get a few of those 12 week scans done.
So happy for you anyway it is amazing seeing that heartbeat isn't it.
Lots of love.
Amy. x
