Hi girlies.
Well not much to report from me.
Just counting down the days now until i finish work. Big Grin
Just this week left to go no 4 days!!!
I am in Mon,Tues,Fri and sat is my last day.
I can't wait to finish for a relax but at the same time am a bit nervous about not working for such a long time and being out of the loop with work friends.
But oh well every day that passes is closer to meeting our baby. Big Grin

Sezzy- State of the world economy. What the hell BORING back to fannies please! Wink
Yes Friday's are tough for me i work from 9-7 on my feet all day by about 3 i am really feeling it but i only have 1 more to go and i am soooo determined to see it through to when i said i would.
What is the date of your actual last day?

Angel- Lol at your little man going crazy once he got you worried about the amount he was moving.
These boys are little rascal's on here aren't they!
Oh Angel a 9-10lber what a big boy but they might be wrong.
I think i would rather not know cause i have a feeling my boy isn't as small as people think.
How exiting our first baby is on it's way. Big Grin
It's about time he stopped teasing you and just made an appearance now.
Can't wait to hear from you asap! Smiler

Pobs- Holy moly you only have to shave your legs once a month!
I shave mine about twice a week but i think the more you shave the more they grow.
My hair grows really quick too i don't know if i would sacrifice fast growing head hair for slow growing body hair.
Luckily my hairs are blond so unless you get lucky and feel me you can't really see them anyway they just bug me. Roll Eyes
Anyway the other night we couldn't decide on a film so we didn't bother but me and dh were disappointed with Cloverfield the film was good but it ended shit.
Poor you on peeing yourself being pregnant is not as bloody glamorous as some make it to be.
I wonder if the bloody perfect Angelina Jolie pee's herself i bet she does! Smiler

Jessley- Hiya have you seen what i said before about heartburn it is meant to be a sign your baby has got lots of hair.
I haven't suffered with it at all and i think by the look of my 4d scan pics i have a baldy in there so we will see if that one is true. Smiler

Babyno5- Good luck on Thursday if i don't speak to you before but i expect i will. Smiler

Forgot to mention my eventful weekend me and dh had an expense we could have done without.
We came home from shopping on Sat to find one of my cats with a deep cut to his paw. Frowner
You could actually see inside it so we rushed him to the vets.
They had to give him an anti inflammatory injection, antibiotics for a week and clean the wound then put 2 staples in it to close it.
Then when they checked him over they found his claw had been ripped out in his back paw.
Apparently he has bite marks on the deep cut so they they think he got attacked by another cat then he tried to get away which tore the flesh.
He is such a gentle giant and never fights and i know he would have run away at the first sign of a cat he didn't know.
Anyway i was all emotional needless to say and cried my eyes out. How embarrasing! Roll Eyes
What am i going to be like with my baby for christ sake but i think hormones had a lot to do with the cry fest.
He going back in 10 days to have the staples removed but they did give us a cone if he tried to bite them out.
He looks loads better today though. Smiler

Sorry girls can't be arsed to do predictions i will def do them when i am on maternity leave.
Speak to you soon girlies.
Amy. xxxxxxx

Man, I am on tenterhooks waiting to hear from Angel! Eeker

Amy, LOL, your post made me cry with laughter today! Big Grin Fair do's as we say in Wales, you are one funny lady! Apart from the bits about your cat of course - hope he is okay soon - poor little thing. Yeah, those hormones are killing me too. Last night DH and I watched In Pursuit of Happyness. Well I gotta be honest, I'm seriously thinking of sueing (sp?) them under the Trades Description Act, I've never seen anything so depressing in my life! I was like 'Give this poor guy a break for Gawds sake!' And I bawled my eyes out through most of it too. SO I'm with you on those hormones. Roll Eyes

My last day is July 3rd (if that's the Thursday) so next week is my last full week of 5 days, then the week after is 4 days then the week after that is nothing. Well, I have got two assignments to write for the next module of my MSc Roll Eyes

Babyno5 - keeping everything crossed for you for Tuesday - might even be putting you on the 'awaiting news' section of the chart?!! Wonder if they'll take your stitch out??? YOu'll be nearly 34 weeks then and I read somewhere that over 99% of babies born at 34 weeks need no special care Big Grin Good luck hun, make sure you post the news straight away.

Jess, did you get a nap? How old is Kaitlyn? Man, reading things like 'she got up at 2am and wouldn't go back to bed till 4:30am' makes me want to cry!!! Ah well, too late now!! Might spend the next 6 weeks till my due date in bed though LOL! Does it work if you bank a load of sleep before the baby's born?!

HI to everyone else, specially Michie - how are you? Are you lot stalking our thread like we stalked the MAy/June one, anxiously counting down the births till it's your turn?! NOt long now!!

xx

Most things set me off though i watched I am Legend and i cried my eyes out at that and that was a vampire kinda thing.
You haven't got many more days to work than me then really have you.
Counting down.

Anyway's this is a quick post as my bath is running as we speak you lot must think i spend all my time in the bath but i have a routine now of posting then relaxing.
The legs are getting shaved AGAIN what else have i to do when my dh is still hungover from last night and is asleep on the sofa.
Bloody piss heads this is when i so don't miss drinking.

evening ladies,

No news from Angel then, maybe she is on the labour ward pushing that 10lb baby out...awwwwww how exciting!!!!!

Ive had terrible backache all day and irregular braxton hicks but thats about it. It's so exciting to know that she will be here in 10 days time, bet this week drags. My first week off of work has flown by.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who gets emotional at films. I sat and watched the sex and the city film last night (thanks to df and his downloading) I was booing 5mins in and continued for the next 2hrs..so much so I had a banging headache after. I cry at the slightest thing especially at the moment, I have to turn the tv over when certain adverts come on, I can't cope LOL

Amy I have to agree about cloverfield the ending was complete pants and that woman screaming all the way through it was beginning to grate on me too. Sorry to hear about your cat, poor little thing. I hope this week flies for you. I know what you mean about leaving for so long...I miss my work friends already but I know that as soon as there is a new baby to cuddle they will be flocking around LOL sure it will be the same for you too.

Sezzy......Persuit of happiness...very sad film !! So jealous you got to laze in bed and that you can use laptop from under the covers. I was planing to laze in bed too but DF is on nights so that ment laying in bed next to him snoring and twitching plus seens as I toss and turn so much ( and boy do I make a meal out of it!!) I didn't want to disturb him sooo I got up and laid in my pj's on the sofa watching baby programs until midday. DH has the right idea..make the most of it hun.

Jessy....Happy 36weeks, sorry to hear you are suffering from heartburn, not pleasant. Hope you managed to catch up on your sleep today.

Babyno5....hope all is ok hun, look forward to hearing your news.

Look at the time yet again....no work but I still have to get up early to take dd to school so best think about heading up to bed..and just as I say that baby becomes active.

night girls love Pobs xxxx

That's weird Pobs, my remortgage is due at the end of July too! Got it mostly sorted now though, just waiting for the solicitors to do their thing but the offer's been confirmed and the suveyor confirmed the valuation we gave the mortgage company. Did you notice yours went up this time? OUrs will go up £40 a month but I had to do some serious searching to keep it that low, my usual mortgage broker recommended something that was £120 a month more with a £1,000 arrangement fee!!! Sod that!!

I was certainly working when you posted - had to come in at 7:30am to get a report finished by lunchtime boo. But only 8 more working days after today and one of those is in a dossy conference yay!

I cried through SATC film too Pobs... glad it's not just me!

Hey Kirsten, you're still here! good luck with everything over the next 10 days for a timely delivery!

Hey to everyone else. Off to eat some grub now.

xx

Poor you Sezzy having to be in work for 7.30am!!!! don't know how you manage it hun. Not long though and you will be able to have a long deserved rest Big Grin Well until baby comes along that is.

Looks like we may be going with the Halifax for our mortgage, Ours will be going up a little bit (not sure by how much) but thats because we are borrowing more to pay off an exsiting loan we have with the bank, we will be better off each month though as the loan is £300 a month. I think we have been lucky in a way though as we wasn't on a low interest rate anyway so haven't felt the push this time around if that makes sense. We are lucky as we have a good friend who sorts out mortgages so have him working the case LOL.
Glad to hear you cried at SATC too..I loved the series but was worried the film would be disapointed and a bit predictable but it was brilliant, wish I had her wardrobe (and the contents LOL)
Well off to make a cuppa for now
hi to everyone xxx
