Hi ladies, Late one today as i had to go to hospital from clinic appointment with consultant this afternoon, I phoned MW lunchtime to say i hadn't felt baby move today at all, and the last 3-4 day he had been really quiet.. MW tried to phone the ANDAU for about an hour, to get me over there for monitoring but no answer.. so she told me to go clinc and take it from there, by this time i'd manages to get him to move a little but i was still not happy, Anyways, I get to clinc only to see the consultant that saw me when i went in at 34 weeks when they thought he was coming! she felt my belly and decided i had a lot of fluid, then measured me to be 40 weeks , head waaaay down low, pressure etc.. so she said all of it added up needed further investigation and also that she needed to double check presentation, soooo, they did me a scan slip thing to take with me and off i went to round the kids up and get the MIL from work!! Get to the day assessment unit and they put me on monitor, oh god i looked like a right fake! Supposed to be there with diminished fatal movements!! ha! what a laugh, took 2 of them chasing him all over my belly to try and get his heartbeat, the little monkey wouldn't stay still for a second! God he showed me up! so at least he is ok and woke up from his little holiday! Regarding size and fluid i have to go back at 11.00 in the morning for my scan so i shall keep you updated! Oh and last but not least.... I may be induced depending on what they find with scan, apparently if there is a lot of fluid he's coming out, didn't ask questions as i don't want to worry about something that may not happen, so we shall see in the morning. Amy.. Get on the rasberry leaf boat gal! I swear by it lol!! I had tea with the 1st and tablets with the other 2 and this one, i personally like the tea but its just less time consuming to neck the tablets these days! It wont put you into labour it will just tone your uterus so that once you are in actual labour the contractions will be more effective! there fore obviously a quicker labour! I know a lot of people dont believe it works but I had a 7hour 1st labour so i'd say so lol! RE; the hair removal creme, ouch! my friend did the same when she was pg! what a mess! she stuck to waxing for rest of pg! saying that i usually get waxed but just haven't got around to it this time as the girl that usually does all my waxing finished and i'm funny about finding someone new, bit like when you just find the perfect hairdresser and then they go off and have a baby lol!! sezzy... helloooo darling!!!! welcome to the forest fairies gang lol!!! I cant see mine either but Dh keeps reminding me.. that it needs 'sorting out' like its a delinquent teenager or summat!!!! I dont think i am going to get chance somehow! Good that you had a straight forward mw appointment today then, at least some of us are having fuss(not fuzz lol!) free pregnancies!! well i had more pineapple last night, more in the fridge and my mouth is on fire from this bloodt hot curry i just had to have!! soooo if i get some puddin' tonight off Dh might get things moving eh?!! but will i need to? hmmmm, all shall be revealed! If i dont post tomorrow you all know where i am! i doubt it but... hi to everyone else, pobs, hope the eye is better today lol! and happy 37 weeks chuck! Night all, Emma. x

Evening all, Would have been on sooner but ive been very sad and have sat watching Eastenders and Big Brother, neither of which i'm normally bothered about so i'm blaming my hormones for turning me into a coutch potato!!! Back has been really painful again today. Df had a day off so went and did the shopping ,nipped to a friends then had a long afternoon nap, I seem to sleep far better on the sofa during the day than at night in bed. Well you have all made me laugh with your lady gardening tales. I'm not sure whether I have to be shaved for my c section, was going to ask the mw but felt I didn't know her well enough to ask such a personal question LOL, guess a trim wouldn't go a miss !!!! I have to say i'm really lucky TMI but i'm probably the least hairy person I know, I hardly ever have to shave my under arms and my legs only get a going over probably once a month if that, and even then its only stubble not full on growth, hair on my head doesn't grow at a fast rate either. So there you go you've learnt something else about me LOL Amy....I'm sooo jealous of your soaks in the bath, Ive given up trying to get into mine. Its not very big so I really struggle now and I find it sooo hard to get in and out of because of my pelvis. Could so do with a soak with my back being so bad aswell. May have to go down the road to my dads at the weekend, he has a lovely big bath. Bet you're counting the days to you finish work hun, I found my last week really dragged but this week has flown by. Sounds like the rasberry leaf tea would be a good thing to try. What film did you and DH end up watching???? oh and what did you think about Cloverfield, I was a little disapointed by it. Sezzy....... Another lady counting the days til materntiy leave hay?? you're right I am a little disapointed with not seeing the mw much and was shocked that my care with them is over now unless I need to phone them. She said I could see her next week if I wanted but then looked in her diary and said "ohhh i'm full and you have her the week after so just ring if you need anything!!!!" nevermind. Its lovely you have your appointment at home to dissuss the birth, I had loads more to ask etc but felt really rushed out of the clinic. Its good all was ok for you and bubba. Hows the hay fever this week???? Angel....Isn't that just typical with the movenments. Must be a boy thing as I was up and down to hospital being monitored when carrying DS...wouldn't feel anything and would be sooo worried but no sooner as I got on that ruddy hospital bed he would start moving around LOL. My movenments have certainly changed its more the occassional jab in the side or her head moving in my pelvis which is really uncomfortable. So I wonder if they will induce you this week then.....Know its not what you wanted but how exciting you get to see ickle baby sooner. I can't believe we only have 13 days left till we meet our little miss....or sooner if she decides to head for the exit. Waves to everyone else, hope you are all well and not suffering to much with this end part of pregnancy. Right off to check june thread see if my old buddy Lea has given birth yet...nearly our turn girls. sleep well Pobs xxx

Hey girls, I can see some of you taking over me at this rate. Good luck for all the impending births. I shall be keeping an eye on this thread :-) Pobs, thanks for checking on me but I am still here and still very pregnant! I have woken up in a bad mood as I went to bed with contractions 10 mins apart for about 5 hours and woke up to NOTHING! I have had 1 this morning. I have no idea why i bother trying to time them The joys of pregnancy hey? Goodluck everyone x

Hi!! Well went for my scan at 11.00, mr. sonographer who was lovely, (the one i saw when i found out i had my cyst at 7 weeks) did all measurments, head is well down, so much so that he couldn't measure it!! and measured fluid, which is actually ok i think.. anyway, He said give or take half a pound but probably move on the 'give' side than the 'take' side, baby is measuring in at 8lb 14oz!! OMG!! first he asked how big holly was as she was with us.. then he smiled when i told him that she was 8lb 2oz!! So he said depending on how much baby wants to eat in next 2 weeks we are looking at a 9 and a half to 10lb'er -dear lord! So off i went to day assessment unit and was put on the monitor finally after waiting for an hour as it was packed there, went on monitor for an hour, but he was really misbehaving and they couldn't get a proper trace, although the monitor was showing up average contractions.. they weren't bothering me too much,(going up to about 69%) so they took me off monitor as it was obvious he wasn't co-operating and they made an appointment for me to go bk AGAIN in the morning for 11.00, for which i will be on the ward as the ANDU will be closed. So while i waited, and waited, and waited some more.. getting sriously upset as my nose is sooo blocked and i was sweating in there.. i said i had to sort someone to pick kids up from school as it was almost 3 and no way was i gonna be bk in time.. so i went to use my phone off the unit, sorted for my SIL to get them, and went to loo, oh dear, i had a show, still no blood though, so went back and reported it, and asked why i was being kept so long???? MW said oh, they are discussing over on labour ward when to induce you!!!! Eh??? I presumed that as scan seemed ok (not that anything had been discussed with me) i wouldn't be induced! so this was a bit of a shock to say the least! so finally the doc comes bk with my notes and says that the Consultant/dr/SHO??? anyone of them wasn't there that dealed with inductions so it would be done tomorrow when i go in.. Grrrrrr, Anyway they say i can go home but MW wasn't happy sending me as i was feeling pretty crampy and having had the show she wanted to do internal. I am now 2cm dilated so this baby really is on its way!! wooo! sooo ladies this may be my final day posting as a pregnant girlie! (pleeeeeaassssseeeee!!!) I will try my best to keep you informed but i dont see Dh doing that for me! so it will have to be once i get home,, hopefully with baby! well Holly has just trotted off to the loo for a no.2 so must go up and sort her out now, sorry for the long, long me post but wanted to update you as i said i would! Pobs.., TBH, i am not that bothered now about being induced i think i am close and just need a little nudge to get me going! Be glad to be able to stop worrying about him (but then do we ever stop worrying?! no!) IKWYM about struggling with small baths! I have a bath every morning and really struggle getting out now, hopefully the bath i have tonight and in the morning will be my last pg bath! But i may be setting myself up for a huge disappointment eh? Lucky you having sparse slow growing hair!! I WISH! I Spend a fortune on razors! Hi Lea! I am stalking you next door hun! been checking in on you's all daily for ages now, cant believe how quick your thread has gone down.. scary! Sending you Loads of (((((((((speedy labour vibes))))))) and hope all goes well for you hun! good luck! well, nobody else been on since last post so i will leave it at that, unless i have x-posted someone, sorry if i have.. Right, chart now.. Emma. x

DO you know what I mean???) with your 'don't know the mw well enough' comment - I assume by the time we have these babies, questions about shaving our pubes will be a doddle compared to the indignities we'll be suffering?!!! HOw's your weekend Amy, spending time with your DH? You work Saturday don't you? Off tomorrow though? Hi to Babyno5, Kirsten, Kate, KirstiB, PJ, Ualreadyno, Jessley (have you disappeared again hun?!), Paula, Meadow - hope you are all well - who'll be next then?! xx

evening....err nop look at the time.... morning!!! Just a quick hello from me as it is 2am and i'm seriously going to bed in a minute. I hvae had an eventful afternoon/evening on the labour ward. thought my waters had broke at lunchtime and have been having mild contractions all day and evening. Went in to be checked over....turns out I had just wet myself How embarrassing LOL but I have an infection and thats why I can't stop peeing. I'm also loosing thin type discharge which the mw said could have been what was leaking, that made me feel better, she said it could be mistaken for the waters...probably only by me LOL Anyway was monitored and had an internal which was unpleasant but nothing leaking and cervics showing no change so I was free to come home, poor df was sooo disapointed. I'm feeling quite uncomfortable and have been having lots of tightnings all evening but nothing regular. Will keep you posted if there is any change, i'm sure there won't be, baby hasn't stopped moving around all evening. Good luck Angel....sounds like you will be the first out of us girls to lose the bump, how exciting. waves to everyone else, off to bed for now Pobs xxxx

OMG Pobs, what a night! Poor you with the infection - and the waters - how much of a rollercoaster was your day yesterday?? And I can't believe hwo fast this is all happening all of a sudden. Angel should have had her baby by now (how mad is that?!) Pobs doesn't sound like she's far behind and there's a few more of us with interesting signs too... when did this all happen!! I'm so not ready!!! Anyway, Pobs, I hope you are okay today and managed a good night's sleep to catch up on your late night. Hi To Kate and Jess, good to hear from you both. Kate, I'll do the chart now and update the weeks, as Angel is gonna be otherwise engaged...! HOw are you? HOw is Ben? Jess - I've been getting rotten heartburn too and Gaviscon's not really worked, but in my antenatal yoga class they taught us something which really helps. Put one hand behind your back and reach for your shoulder blades and the other one over your shoulder to catch the other hand. Hold it for a while and then do it the opposite way. I don't know why it works but it does! HOw is everyone else on this fine Sunday? I was awake about 8:15 but I haven't actually got out of bed yet - DH brought me brekkie whilst I finished a book and now I've got the telly on and my laptop on my lap. This is the life! So nice not to be revising or writing an essay. DH says I should enjoy more of these mornings as I won't be getting any more once the baby's born! Who am I to argue?! Anyway, I'll do the chart now and hopefully pop back on later. xx
