Hi Ladies, I was wondering if I could join you all. I got my BFP 2 weeks ago and it doesn't seem real yet. A little bit about me...
I'm 22 and DH and I have been TTC for 10 months. This is our first BFP and we are very excited and also a little worried. I'm only 5w+3d and have some nausea, sore bb's and very tired. I am so scared that something will go wrong and we want this so bad. I'm sure all of you have the same worries. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Can someone tell me how to make one of those tickers? I'm very new to this site.

Hello everyone.. 3 more days to go....!!!! Eeker

Well firstly would like to welcome wendy-ttc to the board, hope you enjoy your stay here as you grow with us!! what is your EDD?
You can make a ticker by clicking on one of ours, ie, lillypie.com or tickerfactory.. then register with the site, its easier to bring another window up to do it as there is a lot of to-ing and fro-ing!! then when you have made your ticker click on get code, its the one that begins with URL... the 2nd box down on the lilypie site, then click on it copy it and go to your personal page back here on H&H,(thats done by clicking on your name..) then go to viw (your) public profile, then to the right hand side of page click on 'view/edit complete profile', scroll down to the box next to signature and right click and paste the code into the box, dont forget to submit at bottom of page or it won't update..! you can then see if its worked by posting a test post on the ticker/siggy test! thread. Hope this helps.

Kirsti.. So sorry to hear about your sad news, i'm sure having the little bean that is left will keep you strong and remind you to keep your chin up, although it must still be quite a shock and hard for you, its still ok to feel upset and greive as you would any normal loss. (((((((hugs))))))) Yes, i have really been suffering in the loo department.. which is very unusual for me as i am always the opposite when pg. I showed my scan pic to 3 people and they all said boy aswell!! so weird! I'm not drawn to anything girlie either which i was with the last pg, i just knew she was a girl! had bought loads by this time,.. with all of them, just haven't been able to feel if its been girl or boy until recently.. but yes, i'm thinking boy!

Trad.. not sure about quick post???
popping over to msn now so will have a gander..

hope everyone else is well and not suffering with sickness too much anymore, Frowner

well, gotta run off now again, as usual!! and do tea for kids! been out in the cold, TRYING to get my last bits and bobs, no joy just loads of nutters on the road again! so i am shattered, could have fallen asleep driving home this afternoon,... and that low sun on wet road is a killer for a headache.. which i have!!

Bye-bye,
Emma. xx

hi sll,

as we speak i just got up from a really scary dream. well my 1st one my dad who died of cancer in march came back so i could see him one time so i could really say good bye this time. the next dream my sister's friends were trying to shoot us, like 7 guys and than 911 wasn't picking up. that might not sound scary to you but it scared me for some reason. wow sometimes i don't wanna go to sleep cuz i have crazy dreams.

i also woke up with pains and today my BB's are truely huge. they barely fit in my bra anymore. it happened over night wow. i feel really heavy today and my back hurts. i kept waking up cuz i was so hungry i felt like i was starving and my stomach hurt like i hadn't eaten in days! but i was so tired i couldn't wake up. no matter what i eat now, i'm never full!! i keep having the urge to eat.

saw the baby yesterday, it was a beautiful thing. heartbeat is strong but they think i was 9wks1day instead of 9 weeks5 days but she said they would probably keep the date sicne it was less then a week apart. well anyways guess tahts it

Hi girls.
Hope everyone is well.
I just can't even think about xmas at the moment with all this going on just a few days to go and i will know what is going on.
The nurse said that if all is well at my 10 week scan there is a very good chance that the bleeding is not affecting the baby.
The bleed i had the other day was exactly the same as what i had at 5 weeks so hopefully bean is still ok.
I wish that all this wasn't right over xmas not that it would be just as shit anytime of the year.
Just everyone is so happy at the moment and it's hard to hide why i am so down and people keep saying why aren't i in the xmas mood as much a usual but i am not telling anyone.
If all goes well next week i will probably tell a couple more people as it is obvious that something is going on.
Anyway enough about me i will be none the wiser until next friday so i will just have to keep my chin up!

Angel- So glad that your scan went well it is amazing seeing that heartbeat and you are over the scariest part now too. Big Grin

Kate- Your right about there being alot of reasons for bleeding and the fact that they could see it could happen is good.
Also that i have had bleeding and the baby is fine is a good sign but this is all so raw still from miscarrying in april that i can't help but be terrified that it is happening again.
But i think once you bleed there is really no way to tell what will happen i think it is 50/50 some go on to have healthy baby and some miscarry.
All i can do is be realistic but try and stay positive because all this worry is not doing me any good.

Pobs- Good to see you on here. Roll on to your 12 week scan! Smiler

Kirsti- I am so sorry about the twin but you have got to stay strong for the other little one now.
What will the hospital do now?

Wendy- Congratulations hope you are well. Smiler

ualreadyknow- So pleased that you have seen the baby. Big Grin

The other thing is i am starting to worry about symtoms.
My boobs are still massive but are not as sore as they were before.
I don't feel sick everyday like before either but haven't eaten my tea for the last 3 days all i fancy is toast or cereal.
Sickness is more in waves rather than every morning and evening like before.
The consistant thing is that my tummy is hard and has been all the way through.
But the last few days has become slightly rounded just so i can't get my skinny jeans on cause they dig in.
And my work trousers leave a button mark on my tummy from being tight and i have lost weight if anything not gained it.
I'm starting not to feel like shit all the time and i suppose i'm getting scared that it is a bad thing but could it be that it's just easing off?

Lots of love to everyone.
Amy.xx

Amy, hope the next few days go quickly for you. I've got until the 2nd til my next scan and I'm convinced things have already gone wrong cos I haven't felt sick since Weds.

Anyway I just wanted to tell you that when I was pg with Benjamin my symptoms levelled out by 9 weeks and obviously all was fine. I think its about the time that the prgnancy hormone peaks. your symptoms still sound good to me Wink

Hi just wanted to pop on with a message for Amy, I am from the due in Nov/Dec thread. I just wanted to say that I went through the same thing as you with very heavy bleeding during early pregnancy and now have a healthy little girl, it does spoil the first few weeks and I bled for nearly six weeks in total and was scared to move or do much, but the bleeding didn't affect the baby at all and she always seemed happy in there it was just me that was stressed!!

If you look back to the beginning of our thread it will all be on there what I went through if thats any help?

Just wanted to let you know there is hope and to sit tight.

If you want to ask me anything feel free.

Hope you have a good christmas

Sab x

Hello everyone,

Amy.. i wouldn't worry too much about not feeling as sick, mine started to ease off towards the end of wk 9, and i felt fine by 10.5 wks, although ive had waves of starving hunger kind of sickness last 2 days, so dont worry about it hun.
Also, i would say with you getting a belly is good! means your growing and you need good strong hormones for your uterus to be stretching so thats good, i'm gutted this time, and dare i say.. a little concerned?? I was showing well and truley by 12 wks with all the other pg's.. this time i am checking everyday,.. but nope, I'm still in my jeans.. although not skinny ones, they are they low slung slouchy ones i'm wearing now so maybe thats why they are lasting longer coz they were a little bigger to start with anyway!!
Had to work this morning, Roll Eyes and had to wear black trousers that used to be loose on me; they just fit now so maybe its going on my backside not belly!! oh great!!! we're getting a little snug over here!!!

well ive just been looking at all my scan pics and this baby deffo has my husbands sides nose!! cute little button.. just like Ds' so yep, hoping its a boy!!

well i can't remember what i just read and got to put kids to bed now so try get back on later for personals.... i'm gonna have to start copying and pasting that!!!!

Hope the rest of the gang is good and looking forward to fattening up over the holidays!!!! Razzer

Hi girls.
Hope everyone is ok.
No problems with me so i think all is well but friday couldn't come any quicker but at least xmas will take my mind off it abit.

Kate- Thanks for the reassurance. I still feel abit sick every now and again but not like before my jugs are huge though and hurt all underneath so let's hope that is a good sign.

Beanazoid- Thanks so much for the post this is such a streessful time anyway let alone with having this bleeding but i will check it out.
I really think that it can go either way now so i will just keep my fingers crossed my tummy is defineatly getting rounded so lets just hope that all is well.

Angel- Thanks for the reply hun it's good to hear reassurance or i'll go insane with all the possible outcomes going on in my head at the moment!

Happy xmas to everyone and hope you have a good one.
Speak to you soon.

Hi girls.
Very quiet on here over xmas i hope that everyone is ok.
Well my scan is tomorrow and it seemed like i was going to have to wait forever but now it is here too quickly.
To say that i am terrified would be an understatement!
I really haven't got a clue how it will go but hopefully it will be fine but at least i will know one way or the other and not be in the limbo stage.
I probably won't sleep a wink tonight.
If all ok i'll be going straight back to work if not i'll be pushing for it too be sorted asap.
So keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow is either going to be amazing or devastating.
Please let this one be ok i can't go through it again so soon.
Talk about pressure!
I'll let you know how i get on.

Pobs- Where you got to. Hope all is well?

Lots of love.
Amy. x
