Angel hope all is ok hun. Hopefully with this being your 4th baby its just that our uterus is more sensitive or something. Have you been under any stress? when I was pg with Ben I kept having regular BH contractions every 10 mins everytime I got stressed as I had an irritable uterus. My midwife thought I'd have Ben early but I made it to my planned induction at 38+6.
Hi to everyone, this is just a quickie as I'm about to put Ben down for a nap and get on with finishing painting his new room. Just been to the local supermarket and the lady at the til asked how long I'd got left, when I said 3 1/2 months she made a comment about how big I look. What a cheek I'm exactly the same as I was with Ben at this stage and I carry out front, I think I look the right size for my dates. I hate it when people think its ok to comment on your size - grrr!!! rant over!

Dear me, I miss one day of posting and one off our baby's threatens to come!!!!!!!. Do hope you are ok Angel, how ruddy worrying for you. I would have thought they would have you in just to check on you etc. The MW didn't seem to concerned though did she so thats something. I did read on the net that you an loose the plug up to a couple of weeks before things kick off. Know it would still be early but hopefully ok. Someone I work with sister gave birth at 32 weeks last week, baby is home and doing fine already. Was 3.5 lbs. I thought they would keep her in for weeks but she is feeding well so she has been aloud to go home. talk about ickle though. Keep us posted. ((hugs))
Amy....great savings on the tommee tippee stuff. I want to get some more bottles so will have to go over at the weekend. People are rude staring, I had the same thing in town the other day. This middle aged woman just kept staring at my belly so I said to DF in a very loud voice "did I forget to put my clothes on today or something) she soon stopped. I know people like to see pregnant women but the way she was looking at me it was as if I had killed her mother. Sorry leg is giving you pain again. I'm up to 6 pillows at night now...I too can't see df.
Kate....You sound well. Hope Ben likes his new bedroom. The women at work are always teeling me i'm huge....NICE, does nothing for your confidence does it??
Sezzy..... Oh dear what a pants weekend you had...bedbugs and all hay?? You will have to post some pictures so I can inspect this chin etc that you THINK you have LOL. And yes you are my excuess for the ice cream. Hope you are managing work ok this week. Half day for me as DD was sick earlier....she is fine now, isn't that always the way I'm dreading being on my feet all day for this wedding I hvae, hope its not too hot. I'm one of 3 heavy pregnant women going, should make for some interesting photos LOL
Meadow....I know what a pain the care is over there as I said to you before about my SIL living in Saltlake city. She was telling me how her insurance doesn't cover a c section if she needs one which would then cost about £7000, think Ive got that right. She also said they do try and intevene more in the hospitals, perhaps midwife care would be the best option for you.
Kirsten.....Waving hello hope you are feeling ok,
Also to babyno5 hope you are doing ok too.
Got to dash as we are all having our hair cut in a bit and I need to go run bath for DD.
Back later Pobs xxx

Hello everyone, Thanks for concern.. but its probably just me, and i'll still be sat here on my due date! Feel a bit better today, but i think it is very stress induced like you say kate, I am under massive stress at the moment and seem to be stuck in a financial rutt, but not going into that, I did a huge post last night but deleted it before posting as it was so depressing and all ME..
Well, if anyone else was looking for a tommee tippee breast pump let me know, there are 2 left in our asda and they £12.50!! I would be more than happy to post one out to any of you ladies! Also yesterday had 2 packs of pampers 42 (wow, 84 in total!!)nappies from boots for £3!! they were reduced from £6 to £1.50!! they are the 2nd size but he will soon be in them, as they only are in the newborn ones for about a week or two! Today ive been to Argos and got the rocking moses basket stand.. then went to Next and got a really cute t-shirt and a white romper with tatty teddy on front!! its really really cute! Cant wait til i can dress him up!! (i'm not relly supposed to be buying him 1st size clothes as he has plenty but couldn't resist!) My mum has also knitted 2 pairs of bootees that i asked her to do when i found out i was pg, my nan used to knit for all the babies but funnily enough she stopped doing it when i had my 1st! was really gutted as i think there is nothing nicer than hand knitted baby bits by nan and mum, but my mum barely get the time so i am grateful she did the bootees!
My best friend had bad news again yesterday after she had said that her step-sisters baby that was born about 23 weeks, was starting to recover from the MRSA, they now think he may have downs, its just awful as he is such a fighter but things just keep coming at him...
Desperate for my 100th wee today, its getting to be taking the p'ss..excuse the pun!! but i cant go anywhere that has no loo as i am in agony after 5 mins of holding, Dh went to look at a car today to swap for his volvo, did i say 'look'??? thought so, well, he took it for a 'spin' with the lad selling it, so anyway 45 mins later after me being sat in car waiting for him he turns up, i swear if i hadn't been in the middle of nowhere and knew the way home i would've left him there.... I thought my bladder was going to explode, he said 'ooooh yeah i'm dying for one aswell..' I reminded him i had 3lb sitting on MY bladder and he went, 'oh yeah, that must hurt..' eh? you kidding? i could've punched him. bearing in mind it was all bumpy back roads aswell....
Just logging on to check in on Angel.....Glad baby has decided to stay put, best place for him....
Collective hello's, how are you??? and hope all is well tonight as I have a killer headache, must be hormonal, had it on and off for a few days now!!! nevermind.
Big hugs for tonight Pobs xxxxxx

Hiya! Weird dream alert last night. I dreamt i went to my midwife appointment next week and i had the stand in midwife i don't like. She told me that she could not find the heartbeat because they don't do that at this stage anymore. Also she told me i had thrush and she would try this new laser treatment to get rid of it! Now i know i don't like that midwife but that is silly! I just wish my midwife appointment would come round now so i hopefully won't have any silly dreams again.
Angel- Sounds like you are picking up some good bargains! My mum is knitting me stuff aswell, she has done a cardigan and botties and is on another cardy. There is something so nice about handmade things and you can keep them for nice memories.
Pobs- Hope the head is feeling better today! And oh my god 30 weeks how the hell did all that time go by so fast, roll on the next 10w then.
Bad legs again last night girls so from 3 this morning i couldn't sleep. Thank god it's my day of today and i can treat myself to a nap later! Can't believe i'll be 28 weeks tomorrrow. He is definately shifting around a lot. Did anyone else notice that the movement is different at this stage? Not less but instead of little kicks i can feel a whole movement and watch my belly move at the same time! Is it where they are just stronger or where they haven't as much room now? Me and dh read that at about my stage he is 25cm from head to bum and i just can't get my head round where the hell he is hiding! Against my back most of the time judging by my legs at night! Little rascal.
Hope everyone else is well a couple of you haven't been on for a while. Lots of love. Amy. xxxxxxxx

Hi girlies Long time no speak hope you are all well. We are all coming along nicely now aren't we and we are all viable now too. I'm 26 weeks today which is a biggy for me, on Sat i'll be 26+2 and then after that pregnancy is all new to me!YAY!!!
Amy boo to that dream but generally they mean the opposite so im sure that ul have the nice midwife and everything will be fine
Angel glad your little lad is staying put, little rascal get to 36 wks and im sure they can be brought home after having the once over! With regards to baby stuff ive not brought a thing yet, well 1 baby grow when i got to 22wks but thats it. Really should start soon, will prob wait till 30 weeks then start shopping. Bless you on the money worries front are you claiming all the benefits you are entitled to, some friends of ours despite the dad working full time and earning an ok wage have just been awarded £30 housing benefit and £5 council tax benefit a week.Could be worth looking into, also theres a website called entitled to, google and see if your missing out on any money.Sorry if you know all this, just trying to help
Someone mentioned boobie pumps not sure who, ive tried manual and electric - i really didnt get on with the manual ones i tried 2 and they were unbearable so much so they actually made me cry! The leccy one was fab tho and i happily pumped away for months. So i think its just trial and error and to see what you get on with.
Pobs where are you in Kent hun we are moving there from Bedfordshire in August.
Kate im with you on rude people and its always in Asda or Tesco...ooohhh u cant hav long left, yeh i hav august oh my god are u sure its not twins!!!aaaarrrggghhh f*** off and leave me alone!!!!aaarrrgghhh!!!
meadow id go with the midwife led thats pretty much what we get here provided its a 'normal' pregnancy, and Angel(& other previous mums) the labour really isnt that bad i dont think wouldnt you agree that gas and air is sufficent?! Sorry if im totally wrong ive only had ickle ones but my midwife said that they are sometimes harder as your cervix isnt softened sufficiently!
Sezzy bless u with your poorly back, glad you had a nice time at the wedding you'll have to post some pics.
Kirsteen awwwwww i love your 3d piccies and i want that bag too its a wee bit pricey tho so it might be a buy and bung in the cupboard job then when dh notices ill be like yeah we got it ages ago dont u remember!!!tehehe!!!
Right got arm ache now hi to anyone i didnt list (((hugs)))
Married for 6 1/2 yrs to my gorgeous dh, 2 wonderful ds's, mummy of angels
Awww, you lot always make me smile . BabyNo5, how lovely it is to hear you get happier and happier the further along you go, your last post is so different from your first nervous post, it's a joy to read fair play Good on you for making it this far and sure you're going all the way.
And Amy, you made me LOL with your funny dream story, as Babyno5 said, it should mean you get the nice mw now though! bad news about your legs though hun. Can you go to/go back to the physio? I saw one last week for my sciatica (Even though it's eased off loads) and she gave me some awesome exercises.
Angel, hope you are okay - your chart made me smile - it's my first 'happy XX weeks Sezzy' and that feels great! AND it was for 27 weeks, which we had a long debate about and decided was third trimester!!! But hun - I really hope you are feeling okay and taking it easy - as easy a you can with three kids and a DH/DP who works such odd hours. a client in work's wife just gave birth at 33 weeks last week and the baby was only in for a few days, he's home already - he picked up feeding really quickly, he wa 4lb something and he's thriving. Not that you want to hear this I'm sure, you just want the baby to stay in there. God, I'm sooooo keeping everything crossed for you lovely And don't feel that you have to delete your less-than-happy posts, we're all here for you in good mood or bad, same as you are for us. If it helps to post it, you should post it. You're always there with a good word for someone and we'll be there for you too ((((((((hugs)))))))))
Pobs, how' your killer headache hun? Hopefully a good sleep will have sorted it out. Hope all the hair cuts went wihtout incident, you are brave having them all done at the same time, how do you keep the kids from getting bored and restless?!! When is your wedding now, it can't be long?
Kate, I was okay with people looking at my bump at the start, but like you and Pobs I'm starting to find it annoying now. People are just coming up and saying, God you're big! Which is a horrible thing to say to a woman, pregnant or not! I've started to be a bit rude to people now. a lady in work was the last one and I'm afraid she got a bit of a sharp answer back.... ooops! Thing is, I might be big for my weeks but who's business is it anyway apart from mine and the MW's?!! Aaaanyway, rant over Kate, did you finish the baby's room? What does it look like?
HI Kirsten, PJ (sure you're lurking hun ) and everyone else
As for me, my latest ailment (there's always one)... is that I'm teething. Yes, teething. I'm sure Mother Nsture is just making me realise what my poor baby's going to be going through in a couple of months' time. I woke up at 5:30am the night before last with chronic pain at the back of my mouth. i've got three fully erupted wisdom teeth and one partially erupted one, and the partially erupted one has decided to pick the one time when I can't take strong painkillers to have a growth spurt! But boy oh boy am I in pain. Thing is, I got caugth out yesterday, you can only take 8 paracetamol in 24 hours adn I'd taken those between 5:30am and when I went to bed at 10:30am (yup the pain is that bad I'm maxing out the paracetamol). So when I woke up at 2am this morning cos fo the pain, I couldn't take any more and just had to lie there
At least, I think that's what it is. I'm off to the dentist in an hour jsut to get it checked out.
What I was SUPPOSED to be doing today was revising, I have an exam on Tuesday that I've not really done a lot of work for..... eeek!!
Hope you are all ok. More later

Hi ladies, just chilling out while Ben has his nap.
Angel, glad things have calmed down for you, sounds like you might have an irritable uterus. Nioghtmare that DH left you in the car for ages needing the loo. Men!!!
Pobs, hope the hair cuts went ok. Hope the headache eased, they are 10 times worse when pg arent they.
Amy, what an odd dream you had! about movements, the changes are normal just a combintion of baby being stronger, bigger and having less room. I love watching my belly jump about its the best thing about being pg I think and after a quiet weekend she's been really active the last 2 days, I can feel limbs moving under the skin rather than kicks lol!
Sezzy, yes I finished the painting yesterday - hurrah! its actually Benjamin's new room I've been doing, the new baby will go into his current nursery room which is winnie the pooh. Ben's new room was the guest room so still got to get the double bed out and get a new bed and wardrobe for him. Not planning on moving him in there for a while but wanted to get it done as we're having a conversion done in our outbuildings (new utility room and a sun room) so wanted Ben's room done as I'll be painting again in a couple of months so trying to spread it all out before I get too big
Babyno5, its so nice to read your posts, I agree with Sezzy, you sound really upbeat which is lovely.
Well hi to everyone else. I'm feeling sick now as I just had a bowl of soup, 2 rolls and then scoffed a chocolate croissant - serves me right for being a pig!!!
Bye for now x x

Blumming heck - I'm glad I went to the dentist - I've got a nasty infection in the flap of gum that sit over the partially erupted wisdom tooth, apparently. He sent me home with hydrogen peroxide mouthwash, Corsodyl mouthwash AND antibiotics and told me to come back in a week!! Talk about a palaver!
Are antibiotics ok to take in pregnancy or should I just try and stick with the muothwashes? They're amoxicillin.
Anyway, the mouthwashes taste disgusting and haven't taken the pain away, but I fee LOADS better for knowing that I'm fighting those damn bacteria which are causing me so much pain! Take that nasty bacteria! :0)

Headache better today thanks i'm just absolutley knackered and have a sore throat. Im starting to struggle at work in the afternoons now, my feet are swollen anyway enough of this self pity, i'm 30 weeks today YAY!!!!! how excting we have all come this far.
Sezzy.......LOL to your bump size anger, people are just so rude and think its ok when your pregnant to say what they like, good for you. Our friends wedding is june 7th so no not long, got to try and find some underwear for it though as didn't realise the dress I have bought is quite low down at the back and you can see my bra......thats going to be a task in half. Sorry you are suffering with your teeth, tbh every pregnancy ive ended up with problems either during pregnancy or after. When I was in labour with my son I had raging toothache, needed fillings and after having dd I ended up with an absess which resulted in me then having a tooth crowned. I probably don't take in enough calcium so baby robs me of mine LOL. I don't do dentists, my MIL had to drug me to get me there the last time...i'm a wimp. I would say those tablets he has given you are fine, they are the ones they always give me for water infections, you could just ring MW to check best to be safe. hugs (()) hope they kick in soon. xx
Amy.....I know what you mean about movements changing, mine are more her shifting around than kicking, cool watching it isn't it???? Its 8 weeks I have left hun not 10...having c section 2 weeks early. Happy 28 weeks to you, that gives your mum time to fit in another cardi, I love knitted ones too, have my friends mum on the case
Babyno5.... Like the others have said its great to hear from you and hear how positive and excited you are, time will fly by for you now hun. I live in folkestone, kent, where abouts are you moving too??????
Angel.......How you feeling matey?????? hope the pains have subsided for you, do you think maybe it could be stress related, it sounds like you are haivng a hard time of it at the mo. With regards to the finances, I can relate, It does really get me down too some days, especially when my electric bill came in at £325 the other day, doesn't mater what we do or how much we try and cut back there is never enough funds at the end of the month is there??? We are here for ya..good or bad so feel free to rant away hun, might help to get it all off your chest. ((hugs))
waves to pj, meadow, kirsten and everyone else, hope you and bumps are ok. Dd has friends round for tea so best show willing...baby's got hiccups, feels so funny. Had my letter from personel today setting out all my rights, dates, money etc so thats work taken care of now...roll on maternity leave (bit of a broken record with that line arn't I !!!!!)
hugs for now Pobs xxxxx

Bayno5- So pleased that you are on the viable stage now so hope this little one stays as long as possible for extra growing time!
Sezzy- Trouble is i only really get leg pain at night and not really feeling the exercising at 3 in the morning. Or do they help generally or is it a when you get them kind of thing? Boo to the tooth ache but at least you have got it sorted now. Why don't you try the mouthwash and if no improvement take the pills. I am staying away from all tablets but if the dentist gave them you he must think they are safe in pregnancy.
Pobs- Oh dear god we will be kicking this thread off in 8 weeks then! Glad the headache is better though.
Angel- I'll be having jam on toast asap thanks to you i haven't been able to stop thinking about it.
Kate- i love feeling movement going on in there sometimes i feel like he is going to kick his way out!
Just logging on to see if anyone has been on whilst i have been at my mum's and nearly everyone has! Has anyone else noticed a due jan/feb thread now! Speak to you soon. xxxx

Hi all, just a quickie before work (I always say taht though hahaha)
Amy - you do the exercises during the day, they are meant to deal with the underlying problem that causes the pain at night - you don't need to start the routine at 3am LOL!! I do mine in the morning and just before tea.
Kirsten - buying a house - wow, hope you come back on and tell us the story soon ,that's a big change from coverting your folks' garage for more space!
Pobs - have you tried Mothercare on line or a larger store for a multi-way bra?
Kate, you make me hungry for chocolate croissants!!
Hi to everyone else... hope Angel is ok.... cos she normally posts all the time and hasn't for a bit I'm putting two and two together and worrying... I'm probably just making two and two into five though!
As for me, up at 2am and 5am in excrutiating pain last night, third night on trot, this isn't funny any more :-(
