Kate... Glad the news about your Gran isn't too bad and hope she is back on the road to recovery soon. Good news that your meds are working and you are feeling better..no good trying to be a martyr!! What a bargin you had with the double buggy, The tandem ones are supposed to be quite heavy though apparentley.. I had a side by side one and that was heavy aswell by the time jordan had gained a bit of weight lol..but i didn't use it for that long as Miss Independant wanted to walk everywhere.. its a difficult age to know what to do for the best as i was in 2 minds whether to buy one or not as abbie was 18 months old when I had jordan and i knew some days she'd want to walk and others she'd be quite happy to be pushed around like lady muck lol!! I dont think buggy board was invented then! or i'd of bought one instead!
well nobody else has been on so hoping you are all ok, so i will leave it at that then for now! Enjoy your weekend!
Where are you all?????? Ive been enjoying a day of sunshine. Sat in the garden this afternoon and went to our friends for a barbeque this evening......YAY summer is on its way ( well for today, they give rain all day down here tomorrow ) Ive had such a craving for meat again so the steak went down very well tonight although I feel completly bloated and uncomfortable now. Have also been downing cranbery juice like there is no tomorrow to try and shift this wee infection. Can't believe I will be 30 weeks this week,,,not long now.
Angel, How are you feeling now, any better???? has your cold cleared up???? Everyone keeps saying I look so well but i'm just completly knackered like you at the mo, hope it lifts for us both soon and we get our second wind as they say LOL Are you still playing with the pram or have you taken it down to FIL yet??
Kate. What a great bargin you got with the pram. We haven't got a kiddicare store near us but I always have a nose on the online shop, there is some good bargins on there. Love the colours of the one you bought, you can all probably tell i'm like a magpie, love anything bright...and shiny LOL. Pleased to her your gran is doing ok and great news about the GTT test came back all clear what a relief.
My friend just gave us another bag of girl clothes her baby has outgrown, most of it hardly worn...I really hope this baby is a girl or its going to be the prettiest dressed baby boy in kent LOL.
Waving hello to everyone, will pop on tomorrow. Night for now Pobs xxxx

Hey ladies!! Gosh it's been quiet the past few days. Hope everyone is doing good.
Angel, How are you feeling? Ive been surrounded by germs at my job since everyone has been getting sick! Thought the other day I was coming down with something, but I slept and felt better the next day. Your pram is so cute! My sil is giving us hers since she isnt using it anymore, so Im very thankful I dont have to choose. You really need to keep an eye on your dizzy spells! That cant be good, especially when your driving.
Pobbins,Glad to hear your doing well besides the infection. Ive got one too and Im so awful at taking the meds for it! They are so big I cant swallow them so I have to mix them with yogurt, grosses me out.lol Speaking of your meat cravings.. Ive been craving roast beef and mashed potatoes. I dont eat red meat, but I want it! Oh yah, baby clothes I love it when peeps give me baby clothes.Dh keeps saying it better be a girl when we go in for the next scan.
Kirsten, That is great you all are going to have more room. Sorry to hear your still puking, is it any time or just in the mornings? I stillthrow up , but not as bad and usually only when I drink liquid in the morning. I love your 3d pics, Did your doctor or mw order the 3d ultrasound? I was just wondering because my doctor ordered it for me and I didnt think it was standard.
Kate, Glad that you are feeling better, that had to be miserable. Oh and congrats on your test results! That is wonderful.Sorry to hear about your Gran, great that shes doing better though. Hope she has an easy recovery. That is one "eye catching" pram! I love the bright colors.
Amy, I can understand your bump envy, you never know you could pop the last few months. I feel like my bump isnt big "enough" but I know if I was huge I would be wishing I was small. I like your bump though! I think it is cute!
Sezzy,Wow 15 months! I have to say Im jealous! That is great! Im only taking 6 weeks once I have her because Dh is still taking classes. So once I go back to work hopefully I will be only working weekends. Have really bought anything yet, just two outfits. Baby stuff is so irristable but Im trying to wait till after my shower.Glad that Bk didnt mess with you! I didnt even know that about the icecream!
Pyjama Girl, glad to hear your scan went great! Oh and the extension is moving along. How have you been feeling?
Babyno5, hope your doing great.
Sorry for anyone I missed! To answer a few TMI questions, the doctor didnt know why I have "baby making" problems. The bubble was the outer-part of the urethra swollen huge along with the rest of my genitals. Oh sezzy, Im coping ok, too scared to go anywhere near there! But poor Dh on the other hand is understanding but it is killing him.
So I need some advice please!! Since using a midwife isnt that popular yet in certain parts of America, my insurance wouldnt cover it. So Ive been fighting with them and they have agreed to about half. But the center that I found and really like it is all traditional ( no pain meds) and now that the birth is getting closer I really dont know if I can do it. But on the other hand I dont want to go to hospital because they intervene too much and I dont want the baby to get the Hep B and the Vitamin K shot. On top of I want to have a water birth, walk around, eat, hold my baby when I want,go home the same day, ect..(that is if everything goes well.)And the thing is I dont want to waste double the money by going to the birth center and then giving up and go to the hopital.Im scared because I dont know how bad this is really going to be. So ladies do you think I should just suck up my distain for the hopital and plan it there, Go to the birthing center, or just hire a private midwife start off using her at home and if it gets to bad go the hospital? Sorry for it being so long, but advice would help. Thank You
Hi girls. Not been on for a couple of days as i have been a busy bee! Me and dh have had the weekend off together so we have shopped sat and sun. And needless to say that we have spent too much so i cant afford anything until at least next week when i get paid again! Bought all the Tommee Tippee stuff. Bottles, steriliser and breast pump. Saw loads of buy one get one free of baby wipes so got a few of those too. And we bought our nursery paint for our week off in a couple of weeks. Oh well it will all be used.
Pobs- I have the midwife a week on Tuesday and i really hope i see my usual one. I have said that i am not happy with the other one so we'll see. I can't wait to hear the heartbeat though. I nearly came on a couple of days ago as i was panicking that i hadn't felt much movement but the woke up the next day and he has been really active since. So that put my mind at rest. Also the movement feels different lately. More like moving rather than full blown kicking. Oh and don't tell me about bloody ice-cream me and dh ate yet another tub of Ben and Jerry's last night as we bought I am Legend on DVD. I cried like a baby at one bit! I've started having more trips to the loo again now but can't say i have had the rib pain hun. I think my little man is more low than high but try and find a relaxing way to chill out so it eases it.
Angel- Me and Dh went shopping on sat and i kept seeing Mamas and Papas prams i think it is because i am aware of them now. BTW went with the manual pump as decided that i didn't want to risk spending an extra 60 quid on something that i might not even use. So might be asking for good pumping tips when the time comes!
Kate- Glad to hear that your nan is doing better she needed some tlc i think! It's nice to get a pram it makes it seem very real doesn't it!
Meadow- Thanks for my cute bump comment! I like it too. This weekend is the first weekend thought that i have felt really pregnant. I wore a new maternity top and it really showed it off. I swear people look at your bump or am i just paranoid? Can't help you on the birth thing as i'm going in blind myself. I think it probably for the best but my thinking is i want to try and be as natural as possible but want the option of everything possible! Don't want to much really do i.
Another thing. Had some random sickness the past few days so i hope that that is not creeping back again. I have heard that some things return for the 3rd trimester. And oh yes i did say THIRD TRIMESTER that i am in now!
Hope everyone else is well that i didn't mention. Lots of love.Amy. xxxxxxxxx

Gawd i am soooo tired today, had hardley any sleep lastnight as i couldn't settle once i'd gone up to bed.. I fell asleep on sofa at 10.30 then woke up at 12.30, hadn't washed my makeup off so after i'd had a wash i was wide awake- well, i do use clean & clear morning burst..! so what did i expect?!!! anyway went to bed, wide awake so gave in at 2am and went down has some jam toast and milky coffee..MISTAKE! I then had chronic heartburn which i haven't had since the start, so that will be it now til baby comes i think.. Anyway Dh came home 3.15am then (following my long awaited 'rumpy-pumpy' lol!) i managed to get to sleep, eventually! Lets just say, the birds were chirping away by this time! So i look like a ghost today and remember what serious lack of sleep feels like! (Cant wait for that great death-warmed-up feeling soon to be upon me/us hahaaa!!! )
Well, thats enough from me
Pobs,.. Cold never really got a hold of me so thank god i didn't really suffer too much, think its more run down than anything else.. We had a really hot day fridayagain but its pee'd it down all day yesterday and today..typical as i has so much washing to put out.. Lol at you having the prettiest boy! I actually knew a family with 4 girls and they had another baby..there was a huge gap between the last 2, the baby was actually 2 years younger than me, anyway, they just presumed they'd have another girl but shock horror they had a boy!!! They said they dressed him in the girls baby clothes for few weeks til the surprise had sunk in!! (weirdo's or wot??!!) Well, i do hope the tiredness lifts soon as its wiping me out, feels like the begining all over again, getting nothing done.
Meadow.. I am feeling much better now thanks, It wasn't really a proper cold I was just a bit off i think,, Lucky you getting a free pram! I unfortunatley didn't sell mine on ebay, dont know why..so i might just give it to charity shop now as its in the way. That sounds nasty what happened down below I would've freaked out!
Amy..IKWYM bout seeing M&P's everywhere i am the same..its like when you see a car you like..you see them everywhere then!! Sounds like you had a good weekend off! I love doing baby shops! sooo exciting! I am doing mine on tuesday, just need the rocking stand for moses basket, and re-fill my baby box..for the 50th time, i keep buying baby wash, shampoo and wipes, then when i run out of the stuff i use on kids i go and use the baby stock!!! so now you feel pregnant eh?!! Its not just me being paranoid then? people really are staring at us?? I got really upset on friday, i was in matalan and these women were just staring, i found it really over the top and one of there husbands kept doing it, i just felt like screaming at them 'yes? can i help you? is it a freak show?' you'd think they'd never seen a pg woman before.. i think its so rude to stare- but i was having a bad day, and i'm begining to feel very self consious about the amount of weight ive put on, its rediculous.. Its my own fault for eating so much cr@p..
well, hope everyone else is having a nice relaxing weekend.. I'm off to eat my homemade KFC! (oven chips and southern fried chicken lol!!) I have heartburn before i even start so looks like i'll be swigging the gaviscon later again..nice!
back tomorrow, Emma. x

So, I'm back from my wedding (you were right Pobs!) and I'm exhausted!
First of all, before I start my whinge can I just say, the bride looked amazing, totally gorgeous, the weather was fab, the day was so romantic, venue perfect etc etc.
But I'm so knackered! And my back's ruined! It was a 4 hour drive there yesterday and 4.5 hours back today. And we stayed in a Trvelodge with the most uncomfy bed ever. DH and I both realised at 5am that neither of us had got to sleep, beyond a light doze. The room was roasting as well as teh uncomfy bed so DH opened the window, so we did manage to get about 4 hours sleep before checkout. NOT enough!
And to top it all off, we got back about 4pm, I got undressed to have a snooze and realised my legs were covered in red bites about the size of 5p pieces! And I've got some on my arms too. So the horrible hotel wasn't even clean!!!!
Not looking forward to work tomorrow, gotta be honest - got a busy week and I think the weekend's going to catch up with me big time tomorrow.
So how have you all been?
Angel, how's your heartburn? I'm swigging the Gaviscon tonight too, I've had a weekend of eating cráp. LOL at your 3am rumpy pumpy, girl, I am in awe, I wouldn't be fit for that at that time!! Do you think the tiredness is Nature's way of preparing us for the arrival of our babies? I'm with you on the weight gain, I'm trying to follow Pob's advice of not worrying about it till I can do something about it but I'm really starting to feel fat now. All the close up photos in the wedding were awful, you couldn't see I was pregnant, I just had a double chin and fat arms!
Amy, how's your sickness? LOL I've just seen your tiny bump, how cute! It's hard to believe you've got a 3rd trimester baby hiding in there! Can't wait till I join you in the 3rd trimester, only a few days for me too now! Gotta post some more piccies, I'm miles behind you all.
Meadow, maternity care in US sounds a nightmare. Here you pick m/w or consultant led too, but I think even if you go consultant led they try and go for a natural birth. If I was you, I reckon I'd stick with m/w led and try for the natural birth, you've got every chance of it being natural, women have been doing it for millenia after all. Maybe try and go to some antenatal yoga classes, or meditation or something? My friend swore by them, said they really helped her focus on what was happening and let her body do what came naturally. And she gave birth in 3.5 hours - her first born too.
Pobs! 30 weeks this week! What a milestone! Can you believe it? It seems like 5 mins since we were all nervously posting. How's your infection hun? And how's the tiredness? When are you finishing work (soz if you've already told me that, tiredness and hormones have robbed me of my memory LOL!) How's the icecream craving YOu can blame me for that one if you like but I reckon that's just your excuse LOL!! I'm up and down all night for the loo too - I never really stopped that - I've had four nights of uninterrupted sleep since November when I fell pregnant. It's easy to keep count, they're real red letter days, or nights to be accurate! And hope your anti-D nightmare's behind you now.
Kate your double buggy's great! My friend in work (the one who delivered his own baby) bought the exact same one, but paid full price hahaha! I love Kiddicare, they've got great prices, prob gonna buy my feeding chair from there once i get a bit of money saved up and if I can't find an ebay bargain. Glad your gran's on the mend and your tummy's settled.
Hi Babyno5, hope you're okay, you get the prize for the shortest ever post there!
Kirsten, your 3d piccies are soooo lovely, Grace looks gorgeous! Is your bag the one with the cake on it? They're so sweet! (pardon the pun hehehe ) And good that you're getting some space in your parent's house, that'll make things easier won't it?
Hi Lurker PJ - poor thing, you sound really busy. I hardly have time to post and I don't have builders and kids running round, well not unless you count my Big Kid DH LOL!! HOpe things are cool with you.
So who haven't I said hi to? Our long lost Jess, Kirstib and uareadyknow, if you're reading ladies, hope everything's cool.
Have good weeks all, wish me luck when that alarm goes off tomorrow

No sezzy we ARE the next thread, and may/june are already well into their thread.. Ithink they have had 4 or 5 babies already!!!
Think this one is going to be early anyway... I'm currently awaiting a phone call off MW.. been having cramps and BH all day, feel really weird and got a lot of pressure down below..may all amount to nothing but need to put my mind at rest, also had a huge mucous lump deposit itself in my pants last night and then again this morning.. Please god no, not yet..its too early.
cant sit to do personals will try get bk on later and let you know i was just imagining it all and i am fine... fingers and legs crossed for me please ladies.
Hiya! Damn my bad legs last night! They were hurting and it didn't help putting one over hubby so i have now got 2 pillows on either side. Poor dh i feel like i'm really far away from him and i am taking over the bed! But anyway as soon as i get up my legs feel loads better must be the pressure of lying on them. Oh well enough whinging. I held a 1 week old baby girl today and she was lush! She was so small i can't quite believe that i have one of those growing inside of me. It's freeking me out how it manages to fit out of that end too but the less though about that the better i think!
Angel- That's exactly why i hate falling asleep on the sofa cause when you transfer to the bed you are al disrupted. Oooh jam toast and milky coffee sounds nice. Why is it when someone mentions random food on here i fancy it then? And it isn't just me then that notice people staring at your tum. I haven't got much of one but when people clock it they always look again! It's nice really i don't think it is done in a bad way but i think i probably did it before too. And also you so should not worry about your weight. You do have a good size baby belly but you are still slim everywhere else. Your body doesn't look like you have put much weight on at all. But if you are anything like me you will still be paranoid but trust me i wouldn't say it if i didn't think it.
Sezzy- Oh well the wedding had it's up's and down by the sound of it but screw the bride how did you look? Did you go with the black number? Sickness came and went yesterday night so i think it is coming back but oh well what can you do! Tell me about it also i can't believe i have a baby in my tummy myself but then he boots me and i know it then!
Angel- just read down abit are you ok?
Meant to say yesterday that if anyone is after Tommee Tippee stuff at the moment. Mothercare is doing an offer on it. Electric steriliser is £10 off, bottles £3 off for 4 and manual breast pump was about a fiver off. We bought it all yesterday and saved us over £20.
Speak to you soon girls. Amy.xxxxxxxxx

Amy..Kate, Thanks for your concern, lol.. MW finally phoned back and apologised for the delay, I told her what was going on and she just said that as the head is sooo low his head has put pressure on cervix and pushed the plug out , to keep an eye on the pains and if they get worse or anything changes then i have to go straight in as its too early. she doesn't want to send me now as Dh is working and ive got all the kids, so she said just be aware and keep an eye on it... yeah right, i am probably one of the worst patients she has for worrying.. so i'm just gonna worry now til i get a bit further along..my target is 36 weeks.. just hope i make it.
That aside..
Sezzy.. Glad you had a good time at the wedding but thats awful about the bed bugs.. I have heard it before about that company though.. nothing like getting back to your own bed eh?!
Amy.. well done on finding your feeding stuff so cheap, all mine was reduced in asda and i saved about £50.. I actually bought them the day i had my coil out!!! Thats how keen i was!
kate.. Hope your tum is still behaving, and Ben is being good for you! Have you had fun with the pushchair! Mine is all put away now but not had chance to take it to FIL's, will have to soon though, i'm keeping the car seat here and its in the baby's cupboard with all his clothes, blankets, bottles, sterilizer and nappy wrapper!!!!
well, kids have gone up now to bed so i am off to tuck them in.. Holly is crying coz she's lost her dummy.. God damn that dummy.. just cant get her off it.....
Angel, everything ok hun?? Mucous plug out and pressing on the cervix, these things do not sound so good hun. Thinking of you. Keep your legs crossed!
Amy, haha, yes I did wear the black number, co-ordinated with turquoise and gold (sounds gross huh?) and I think i looked ok - I spent about 2 1/2 hours doing my fake tan, hair and make up - reckon I could get a job as a make up artist honestly
