Afternoon all,

Just cooking tea but thought I would nip on and say Hello, plus I knew Sezzy would be about looking for company LOL Big Grin

Ive spent most of today moving furniture and am now paying for it. I forget im 7months pregnant and shouldn't really be doing it Roll EyesMoved my lounge around, it looks sooo much better. Been wanting to do it for ages but df wasn't having any of it so me being me waited until he went to work today and did it myself. It means I can type my posts form the comfort of my armchair now and not the uncomfortable chair we have.
Everyone is feeling ill here today. Df was up all night with a temperature and sore throat now both DD and DS are feeling ill with the same thing....I hope I don't get it, have had my fair share this past few months.

Angel....You DH sounds like mine with the DIY..everything is going to get done on his days off...never does though. Long for my house to be finished. How are you feeling today?? Perhaps you are coming down with something hun, take it easy. Love the pram, I never saw that one in the catalogue when I looked, its really lovely and very well priced. I have bought most of our bedding from matalan apart from a couple of bright fleecy blankets and cot bumper from Ikea. We got some cute little outfits really cheap from matalan too.

Sezzy....Hows it going matey???? Don't envy you having to revise although like I said before I should really be doing the same, my signing exam is Wednesday Eeker Glad you enjoyed your meal, I fancy one now. Roll on payday DF said he will take me out for a meal, I'm a cheap date though I love the Harvester..spit Roast chicken and salad bar!!! followed by a big fat chocolate pud. I would love one of those beds.

dinner smells burnt so best go LOL.
love Pobs xxxx

Lol pobs..
Guess i much be a cheap date aswell, i prefer going to brewers fayre which i think is like harvester!! I usually have a salad or duck in orange with veggies and dh has mixed grill then we have a caramel apple betty & custard for pud!! We always have the same everytime we go, although we haven't been for prob a year now and my friend tells me they have a new menu which has gone up and isn't as nice, awwww, booooo!!
Glad you like my pram, its on the clearance part of the site, and i only found it by accident, ive always liked that colourway, but i dont think they make it anymore, i think its boston check?? just hope it all goes through now as my bank are being stupid at the moment.. oh well..

This baby hasn't stopped jumping about since 3.00 this morning Eeker its lovely but getting a bit tiring now! Also he had hiccups for most of yesterday!! guess he is drinking my healthy fruit & veg infused amniotic fluid too fast!!! Wink

Ha, forgot to say i had my physio on wednesday and the woman said i had an intresting bump! i thought, hmmmm, does she mean that in a good way or is she being funny? so i said 'what d'ya mean?' and she said, 'its just a bump, its just there, other ladies i see, its not as defined!!' So i took it as good ??

Ive just put hollys old pram on ebay to make room for the new one! Yes i already have a pram!! (oh, didn't i mention that?) I am fussy about prams, dh says i am stupid buying a new one when we already have one..but its old! and cant fit it in the boot.. maybe i have already mentioned this..... Confused so i will shut up and leave now!!

Just incase you wanted to be nosey, this is it!!!!http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GRACO-QUATTRO-TOUR-DELUXE-TRAVEL-...QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

You can see the baby things i bought aswell through my feedback lol!!

Hi ladies, sorry I've been awol, my power cable on my laptop bust and I had to wait 3 days for sony to send a replacement, then I was out all day yesterday at tumbletots and shopping.

Just a quickie for now but noticed a few of you talking about the M&P pramette. Its on this site for £279.99 http://www.glasgowpramcentre.co.uk/shop/product.php?product_id=1673
I got my quinny buzz, car seat and carrycot from this site and the delivery was really quick.

Angel thats a real bargain you've got there with your pram. Its not in the catalogue though? Anyway its very nice.

What prams are everyone else getting? I'm going to see how I get on with what I've already got instead of getting a double one. I've got the quinny buzz with all the bits and a maclaren techno xt stroller. I'm planning on getting one of those close baby slings for baby and Ben can use the stroller when we're out http://www.closebabycarrier.com/buy_online/buy_online.asp And I'll use the buzz for walking round the village. Hopefully by 6 months Ben will be mostly walking or can use a buggy board.

Oh I gotta go tea's ready in 5. I asked DH to peel the spuds and he's ended up cooking it all - whoops!!!

Bye for now x x

Hi kate!
Ilooked on the glasow pram centre site when someone posted it before, (may have been you?) But i must say that when i found out i was having a boy the polka one i had set my heart on seemed a bit girly!! Then the more i looked at the city scape one, that piece of whatever it is on the edge of the hood just kept looking tackier and tackier.. no offence if anyone has the cityscape one, it just was bugging me... so i found the one on argos and for that price had to have it, the check is a lot more boyish i think!
I'm with you on the techno xt, i bloody love that pram, i bought it for holly when she was 5 months old and i have to say its bomb-proof! If anyone is looking for a buggy i always recommend that one, not keen on the quinny as i am personally just not into 3 wheelers, and i dont like big wheels which is another reason why i am getting rid of my graco!
My brother and SIL are getting the quinny buzz. (Flippin' expensive them tho aren't they!!)
Anyways, if anyone wants to look at the clearance stuff on argos click on the baby & nursery, then if you scroll down a tiny bit, under the pics are the brand names across the page, directly above the Lindam one is the 'clearance baby & nursery(15)' link, if anyone is looking for a cheap moses basket there is one there with pink and purple Eeyore design, obviously for a girl! you can get the curtains etc, all half price! I'd have it if i was having a girl!!

well, hope i haven't bored you all stoopid with my ramblings..
I have been thinking today how much it is bugging me that this baby doesn't have a name still.. has everyone else decided yet?

Angel, yes the Buzz is quite big and heavy but we do a lot of dog walking so its great for that being an off roader. I got the techno for Ben when he was 6 months old as we were going to greece and I hardly used the Buzz after that so I want to get some use out of it this time around. I'm a big fan of my techno though, its great!

AAAARGH!!!! I am just not in synch with you lot! Mad I missed all the chatting!

Angel - you were right on both counts - I managed to cram a mid-revision snooze in AND finished all the revision I wanted to do today! Big Grin My friends turned up just as I finished with a range of flavoured waters, bless their little cotton socks! Big Grin So they've just left.

Loving everyone's pram choices! And top tips for bargains to be had!

Pobs, really hope you're ok. I know you know this, but you shouldn't really be shifting furniture at 7 months.... BTW how MAD is it to be saying 7 months pregnant!!!! And sooooo cooool!!!

Kate, weirdly my sis has the Quinny Buzz and Maclaren XT too! You both have good taste! Like Angel I'm not a 3-wheeler fan as a rule, but I do like the Quinny. I've gone for the Bugaboo though... couldn't resist in the end.... am paying fo rit in installments which makes it slightly less painful! Gonna economise on absolutely everything else though.

Aanayway, more from me tomorrow, off to bed now but more revsing tomorrow

BYEEEEE!!!!! xx

Sorry to hear about you glucose test, from what Ive heard alot of people throw up after drinking that stuff. Im not looking foward to it to say the least.

Pobbins, I agree you shouldnt be moving furniture around! Crazy woman!! I really hope you dont get sick! It is going around work right now and I am hoping I dont get it. How are you feeling?

Hello from a very sunny kent (sorry Angel no rain here Cool)
Well girls you were all right, moving furniture was clearly the wrong thing to do, although my lounge does look sooo much better. I felt terrible all evening, back, tummy everything aching then was up at 4am with a migrane which is just easing a little now....THAT WILL LEARN ME!!!!! Was planning to clean all the windows today but DF said he won't be ammused if I do and wait for it he has promised to do it on his day off LOL...think i'm nesting !!!!!!! Nice quiet day today to get myself ready for going back to work tomorrow Frowner DS and DD have gone out with their dad, DF at work so just me and the dog. Going to go up and have a nice long bath in a mo.

Angel.... I found some really nice changing bags on ebay when I was last looking, quite funky ones, did you not get a voucher for the free one from Boots, think the voucher in one of the free books from midwife. The bag is worth £30 and is black and grey. Its a really nice big bag with changing mat. I got one with my pram so will give the spare to MIL to use when she has baby. Someone is going to get a real bargin with your pram you are selling, hope you get the full amount. Ive never tried selling on ebay before, should really ive got loads of DD clothes that I always end up giving to charity..could do with a few more pennies. Hope the rain stops soon xx

Sezzy.....Well done on yesterdays revision, what you up to today..more of the same ???? I like the bugaboo, what colour have you gone for???

Kate.... Nice to hear from you. We do a lot of dog walking too so thats why I have gone for something with big wheels, idea for off road (my MIL laughed when I said that!!) what kind of dog do you have??? we have a border collie.

Meadow...Welcome back, glad to hear you are ok although working hard, when do you plan to finish for maternity leave???

Where is Amy I wonder???? hope your ok xx

Here is a link to my Pram, the cosatto mobi. we are really pleased with it...colour looks brighter than shown here.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&it...=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=006

the only thing I didn't like was the sunshade, it is a bit naff but the pushchair comes with a nice hood so don't think I will need to use it anyway.

Right off to get in the bath then to make something to eat...cheese craving is back girls!

back later Love to all Pobs xxx

Hi ladies, just watching shipwrecked on playback, makes me feel old lol! the first series I was the same age as them and now I'm nearly 31 !!!

Pobs, love the pram, its really nice and good value for money. See what you mean about the sunshade. We have a BIG black labrador who despite being 6 is still a right handful !!!

Angel, good look finding a change bag. If you're 7 months then I must be just in month 6! it doesn't feel it though!

Meadow, nice to hear from you I didn't realise you were having a girl unitl I saw the chart. Ben is fine thanks for asking. He's still climbing on everything in sight but no bumps since! and he's get really used to sleeping in his junior bed now too.

Sezzy, hope the revision went well and you weren't working too hard. Sorry top have missed you yesterday.

Hi to everyone else x x

I forgot to mention this the other day ladies, I was lying in bed and thought I had a braxton hicks starting up and I looked down and the baby was poking out all along the left side of my bump, must have been her back it felt really funny and freaked me and DH out, she didn't move for ages I think she was having a big stretch. Its happened once since. Has this happened to anyone else?

Haha, kate Big Grin!! Yes it happens to me all the time! Ive just layed in bath for 45 mins watching him doing summersaults!!

I could clearly make out his leg from his bum, then it flexed and flicked out quick, thought his foot was gonna take my b00by off!!! Its amazing to think there is only a few mm between my hand and his little body! so close but yet so far!!! he is still very active and i think this is how he is gonna be now til the last few weeks, i thought i remembered the other 3 being a lot more active! I must of forgot the quiet bit 1st though!

Pobs.. Cute pram but not quite to my taste! The sunshade looks like one from about 30 yrs ago doesn't it! my mum had one for my big silvercross station pram..it was green with white tassels on it lol,..just same style as the one you have!!!
Poor you for being in pain..but that will teach you not to do furniture manouvres again in a hurry! I cleaned the windows with the last two the day before i went into labour.. Eeker so stay away!!! If you are prone to migraines lay off the cheese.. its a known trigger, my triggers are coffee, cheese, red wine, chocolate on an empty belly, and strong perfumes or cleaning products.. I started with the visual disturbances last night after the headache had finally gone- but got a pint of water and 2 paracetamol down before it got nasty.. yay, headache finally gone now, but feel worn out from it.. just had my lovely bath! hope you enjoyed yours!!

well of to Asda now before it gets crazy.. got to get chicken for a korma tonight and sarnies stuff for kids tomorrow,
back laters,
Emma. x

Wow Kate, that sounds so cool- you could see the whole baby more or less? Madness! Eeker That hasn't happened to me.

In fact, my bubs has gone quiet these last few days. I almost started to worry Friday as I defo felt 10 movements but really faint and not many more than that. Confused Saturday morning I lay in bed for a while and I did feel movement, just very faint so I would miss it if I was up and moving. And since then, just the odd really faint movement ( and a few good kicks onto my pelvic floor LOL!). That's ok isnt' it? Just probably means the baby's facing inwards instead of outwards? Should I be more concerned?? Confused

Pobs, really hope you're better now and you're going to heed DF and eevryone else's words and lay off the hard labour? Roll Eyes Love your pram, I didn't see that one when I was pram shopping. We've gone for a red and grey Bugaboo in the nylon canvas fabric not the fleece, at that price it needs to be pretty neutral and hard wearing LOL! Roll Eyes I'm love to get a dog. DH and I do loads of dog walking without the dog LOL!! I keep borrowing my parent's dog for weekends (well, I used to). But we've always been away a lot and working long hours so it didn't seem fair for us to get a dog of our own. Maybe when the kids are a bit older we will (hark at me! HAven't even had my first and I've already got a brood, in my mind anyway)!! Big Grin

Hi Angel, can't believe how cute your three are being about their little brother, bless them.. Smiler Can you imagine what they would be like if they were REALLY there the SECOND he was born?? It'd put them off for life! Actually, that might not be a bad idea when they're a bit older LOL!! Wink Sorry it's raining wiht you - we had that down here yesterday and it's a lot brighter today so maybe that's on it's way up to Anglesey for you. FIngers crossed anyway! Big Grin Congrats, like Pobs, on being 7 months!!

HIIIII MEadow! Welcome back!! Big Grin Hope you're not overdoing it in work and getting too tired?? I did give my MIL a restrained piece of my mind and we actually haven't spoken yet oh dear. Never mind! Roll Eyes

Huh - think that's it since my last catch up - you busy lot - HI to everyone who hasn't posted since the last long post wiht personals I did, I probably said hi to you then LOL!! Big Grin

Okay - must get on with some revision now - done the washing and the food shopping for the week, cleaned the kitchen and bathroom and had a general tidy up - no more delaying tactics! Oh, it's lunchtime what a shame!! Wink

xx
