Hi all,

You girls are great - problems big or small you make me feel better! Big Grin Black to the wedding it is, then! My accessories are super glam so that's the main thing (and I can wear the accessories again unlike maternity wear LOL!) Smiler

Well it's lovely and sunny here today again Cool and I'm working from home so slobbing in my tracky b's instead of a suit YAY! Big Grin DH, the idiot, bites his nails really badly and one of them got so infected it swelled up, went black and left an angry red line up the vein in his arm, up to the armpit. Frowner Eeker He finally went to A&E yesterday and they've put a Venflon in to give him IV antibiotics, but cos there were no spare beds and he comes from a good home LOL, they sent him home with me and I have to take him up every 6 hours for more antibiotics. Roll Eyes

If any of your kids or partners bite their nails, I can post a pic of his thumb and I can guarantee it'll stop them - even the nurses were taking pictures of his thumb to show their kids to stop them LOL!! Eeker

He told the nurse it was a sporting injury.... he was so tense watching the Liverpool Arsenal Champions League quarter final on Tues he bit his nail to the quick LOL Roll Eyes

And as for my MIL - well we normally get on really well (we went to Venice with her and FIL!) but if I speak to her at the moment I will have to give her a few choice words. We dropped a pressie off for FIL Sunday and she looked at his thumb and looked at me and said "WHY haven't you taken him to A&E??? I wouldhave taken him by now!" Now my DH is 33, 6'5" and lived on his own for 7 years before we moved in together, so a) more than capable of looking after himself and b) a bit too big for me to force to do something, if he doesn't want to. I let that one lie, but after DH had gone to A&E Monday morning, I've had an email, a text message and a phone call saying "I TOLD you he needed to go to A&E" and making out tht I'm some bad wife! I AM FUMING!!!! Mad Mad Mad We have a GP friend who was keeping an eye on him all weekend anyway and the infection didn't even spread till Monday morning! And if she continues this she's going to get a piece of my mind. He's the baby of the family and the apple of her eye and he can do no wrong, so it's all being laid at my door GRRRR!!!! Mad

Phew! Feel better for getting that off me chest!

Ladies, I too am suffering from the dreaded 'moistness' 'down there' and loving your various euphemisms for 'down there'! One of the joys eh?! I'm going to buck the trend though in case we have any stalkers that think that being 24-28 weeks pregnant means no bedroom fun - I'm still having some! Not a lot but it's very good quality IYKWIM!! Wink lOVING the 'new ways' to do it too! Big Grin

On the maternity wear front, the best shops in Cardiff have been Dorothy P's and H&M. Top shop's got a small range here, got my jeans and a short sleeve cardy wrap top thing, but DP and H&M are just as funky and cheaper - have you lot got them near you? Or do they not have much of a range, I know it varies across the country doesn't it?

PObs - I've turned into a right jumpy so-and-so too - DH does a chinese delivery job on Sunday night so I have to go to bed alone and I cen't settle till he gets home. It makes Monday mornings even worse I have to say Roll Eyes YOu were up so late last night though, are you still on hols?? Or are you knackered today? When does DH finish nights?

Angel, good to hear you're feeling all glowing from your tan and nails and hope the glow lasts for you! IKWYM about being pregnant being the best bday pressie though. I did my pregnancy test on my birthday and it put everything else in the shade to be honest. DH and I haven't bought for each other this year, we both put money in the 'maternity slush fund' savings account so I can take even more time off work, a much better use of birthday money I think. I didn't mind really. Hope you enjoyed your day, pressies or no pressies - and you'll have another treat when your boots and top(?) arrive won't you!

Hi Grouchy - oooh sorry, slip of the tongue, I mean Amy LOL!! Wink Nah, only joking, you've gotta go some to be more grouchy than me lovely, see my MIL rant above and I'm not even in a bad mood today LOL!! YOu weren't at all grouchy! Did you find some clothes today then, or more stuff for the baby? Lucky baby having such an organised mum and dad! LOL at the top and tail bowl - I didn't know either till about 2 years ago when my first niece was born - lucky I got to practice on them huh?! I checked out Snug as a Bug - it's sooooo cute! Your nursery's gonna look lovely!! Where did you get it from, online or a shop? I haven't found anywhere doing nursery stuff except Mothercare.

HI Babyno5 - bet you are on cloud 9 huh? Cool

Hi to all our other July/august buddies - come back sooooon!!! Smiler

Hi to our guest stalkers Billy and Petal - LOL to you both!

Right btter do some work huh? Big Grin

Have a good day everyone!

Sezzy x x x

Ps Angel - I NEVER re-read my posts - I just like living life on the edge I guess Big Grin Wink

Hi girls. Big Grin
Better mood today! Just been on www.vertbaudet.co.uk and ordered a couple of maternity tops so hopefully they will look nice.

Petal- Thanks for the input but unfortunately no where near London but i have been to Pumpkin Patch in Southampton when we visited MIL on the Isle of Wight. They had some lovely baby things in there.
Can't believe you are 18 weeks already! Big Grin

Angel- I have only read good things about the Pliko Pram but to be honest i have only looked at what i like so far not really researched.
Although we have just seen the Pliko on Ebay with carseat for £300 altogether and it is £410 in the shop.
My parents are treating us to that one so we can splash out a bit! Big Grin
Also i want things to really last as i can use them again when no.2 comes along! Roll Eyes
I'm the same with the fanny juice i am changing my underwear twice a day!
What the hell is it then? Mad

Pobs- I am the same i never used to go to bed without dh but since i have been pregnant i can fall asleep anywhere.
He comes to bed now and i'm snoozing away!
And on the bd thing too.
It is mutual with us as well. I am too knackered and he feels weirded out having it off with his baby so close by. Eeker
We had very healthy sex drive before don't get me wrong but it's like you switch off the horn drive when you start to feel movement especially.
Also i get kicks mostly in the morning and at night when i go to bed.
It is lush but a bit of a passion killer all i want dh to do then is feel my tummy! Smiler

Sezzy- Oh my god how bad does he bite his nails for god's sake that is enough to stop anyone biting them! Eeker
Well at least someone on here is getting some loving!
Tell us your secret of where the energy comes from please? Smiler
Haven't ordered the Snug as a bug stuff yet but i know that is what i want.
I like that there is a few colours in it to accessorise but it is still little boyish.

I have just text my boss who is due sunday and told her to go for a long walk, have a curry for tea and have some sex for dessert cause i have a bet at work that she will give birth tomorrow.
I told her if she tries hard enough i will split my winnings! Wink

Guess i'll be off for a shower and get in the cumfy pj's and await the joy that is boob leakage!

Lots of love. Smiler

Evening all, me again,

Very quiet tonight so i'll keep it short and sweet besides ive jsut upset myself watching The Royle Family...one where nana dies..so sad Frowner
My cousin text me earlier her ickle girl was 6lb 13. When she had her scan last week they told her the baby was very big and was weighing over 8lb already...she was so scared bless her, how can they get it so wrong? She had a massive bump so just proves you never can tell.

Sezzy....I feel your pain hun with regards to the MIL. Mine is exactly the same, DF is 34 this year but she still treats him as if he is 5. The other day she asked me why I had let him go out without a coat on.....I politey reminded her of the fact he was a grown man and it was his choice. She is always slipping little comments in like "he looks so tired, I suppose its all the extra work shifts he is doing....he has never been in debt before" she has it in her head that he is weighed down by huge amounts of debt even though were not, we have debt like everyone these days but its managable. The other day the comment was how he hadn't popped in for long to see her as he had told her he had to get back and do the housework....I had asked him to run the hoover around. She was suggesting I was sitting on my backside and leaving him to do everything..yeah right like that would happen LOL. Df says I should just count to ten and not get upset but its hard isn't it??? He actually got angry with her the other day though which surprised me. She said if we call the baby Scarlett then she will call it by a name she likes as she hates the name Scarlett..his reply was "well you won't be seeing your grandchild then will ya" That said I do get on with her I think she just doens't think about how she says things and like yours forgets how old he is. Roll Eyes
I'm surprised you hvaen't been accused of starving DH....thats why he has been eating his own fingernails isn't it LOL Big Grin That will learn him LOL....and with regards to the "fun" you've been getting....WOOOO HOOOOOO way to go Wink

Amy.....Good luck with your bet, you can bet on me if you like...go for the 2nd July...its a dead winner LOL Big Grin probably shouldn't say that should I, especially after spotting last week. MIL has said she thinks baby wants to come early!!!! Good luck with the pram buying..ebays great isn't it we saved loads on ours...me and DF were itching to go round to inlaws for another play with it today..can't wait to use it.

I will leave it there and just send hugs to Angel, Kate, kirsten, pj and babyno 5..think that is all of us now on her posting isn't it.

Determind to get to bed before midnight tonight. DF last night shift YAY!!!! looking forward to having someone to cootchy up with tomorrow.

love to all xxxx

Hey all! - well havent you lot been chatting away - giving me sooo much to catch up on. ive read some but not all so will be back after work to catch up better!

Went for 4D scan on saturday - little bugger was facing the wrong way! all we could see was the back of her head. We was only supposed to be in there 20min and ended up in ther for an hour- eventually afer several coffees and sweeties they told me to go home and come back on Monday - i was devestated!

Anyway, went back monday and once again - facing the wrong way - we tried for half an hour, and still no luck, so i went for a coffee and a walk around, went back in 10mins later and wahooooo shed turned around! It did take us 2hr30mins to get 25mins of dvd of her, so was deffo worth it, as was only suppoed to get 20mins altogether but ended up with about 3hrs! and, instead of the 20 piccies i was meant to get on cd i got 96! She was just sooo beautiful! She little chubby cheeks and a big tuft of hair already hehe! She looks so much like my dp already though! It was soo worth the money and i loved every second of it!

Remember i told you the mw said my baby was a -big un' and measuring 30 weeks (last friday) wel on saturday at the scan i had her head measured and she was only measuring 27wk2dys which the woman said is perfectly normal and not to worry shes too small - which i would of done! Still not had loads of movement but i have enough, and ive seen her now anyway and know that shes fine!

Ive just bought a new bed, one of them memory foam ones and am suffering! Its given me a bad back - its meant to bludi help! and its not like there cheap either, it cost us £800, im soo annoyed and dont know what to do now! Its really high from the floor, i feel like im gonna get a nosebleed up there, but yet when i sleep on it, my belly and ass are that big i feel like there touching the floor and my head and feet are right up in the air! How annoying - has anyone else got one of these beds, as i have been told i need to time to ajust and get used to it!

And about the wet lady garden - well! Its just a nightmare! I keep thinking i have started bleeding heavily its that bad, and some times i start to wonder if my waters are going to break! Will i know the difference when they do break!?

I have finally chosen my decor for the nursery, going to go with the M&P roundabout girls - but not bother getting the quilt, just bumper and some matchoing blankets as its soo expensive - has anyone else decided what they are doing with the nursery, ive also bought a changer from ikea, its like shelves with i bigger shelf sticking out in the middle - i love it! and its soo cheap compared to other changers! I cant believe how much they charge for these things! Amy - i had a look at you snug as a bug - its gorgeous, sooo cute! Ive also had lots and lots of leaky boobies, since about 23weeks, dont have to wear pads in the day yet as its more at night, but i kinda like it as it made me really excited and always reminded me that im gonna be a mummy soon hehe!

Im getting quite scared now about labour! Dont know what to expect at all, pain wise, and to be honest i odnt really want an epidural!

Got my glucose tolerence test tomorrow, really nervous for that aswell!

As for maternity clothes - well i aint struggling at all with jeans or anything i wear out of work, but my work pants have gotten really tight (only today though) i have gorwn soo much since last night! My pants fitted me fine yesterday and when i went to fasten them this morning they wouldnt! and everyone in work has commented that i have grown over night! I dont really want to get any maternity pants for work though as i finishing in 5 weeks so just seems like a wate of money - so will probably just suffer with not fastening them hehe!

I will post my piccies from 3d scan on msn when i get home as i cant do it at work!
- and will catch up with everyone proberly then!

Lots of love
Kirsten xx

Hello all

I hope you are all well on this sunny day Cool

Sezzy-ouch re the nail what a wolly!Bless him and of course its your fault, everything that happens to their 30 year old babies is our fault! And yes if i get through these next few hours I certainly will be on cluod 9.

Angel-Don't worry about posting too many pics, i love looking at new piccies. I'm gonna add some later. Glad you had a nice birthday, how old are you now?

Kate- Your bump is looking lovely hun how you doin?

Amy - I'm with you on the moisture of the lady garden!I'm actually wearing a thong pad thing now which is just enough to keep me fresh! It's a bit worrying though all the same, knowing all you girlies are just the same has definately reassured me tho.

Kirsten-cant wait to see new pics

Pj and Pobs and cant remember what else you guys have posted. hope your babies are behaving and you are all enjoying what is apparantly the most lively/energetic part of pregnancy?!

Im still here WOOOOHOOOO 24 weeks 2moro so that'll be nice i'm sure then i'll find myself another milestone to whittle over tho, like 26+2 when my DS was born!!!!Nevermind!

Sorry if i'm boring you with my stitchy probs, but it is nice to chat to other people.I cant remember who asked, think it was Amy but there isnt a stage in the pregnancy when they'll say the stitch has worked i presume its when the baby is born not too prematurely, hence the fact i still havent chilled despite doing so well.

Is anybody having mad crazy movements im feeling kicks/punches at the top of lady garden and top of belly all at the same time its like hes going mental in there. My DS loves it tho and is constantly kissing and stroking my belly,he is sooo excited.

Right off now x

Hiya girlies and bumps,

Have had a lovely day sat in the garden with DD and DS, weather has been great Cool Just waiting for dinner then off to take the dog for a nice evening walk. So tired today though, the dog was having a werid turn last night and just kept barking and running up and down the stairs. She is acting very strange not sure if its because of me. I gave up a 5am and came down stairs with her...after her waking the whole house up and probably the whole street Roll Eyes She is a really gentle dog so sure she will be fine with baby.

Kirtsen, I sat with tears in my eyes reading about your 4d scan I WANT ONE (stamping feet!!) DF isn't that keen as he wants it see her for the first time when she is born. Can't wait to check ourt your pictures later.

Babyno5.....Congrats on reaching this milestone, hopefully you can relax a little now. How much did your ds weigh at birth?? he must have been soooo ickle.

I feel huge today, infact i'm earing my bigger pair of maternity jeans today.

Will leave it there as my brother as just turned up.

hugs to all Pobs xxxx

Hi ya! Smiler
Had a lovely day off yesterday with my mum but my legs were hurting unfortunately so couldn't stay in town for too long. Frowner
But went back to hers and we had a nice lunch.
I showed her the pram on Ebay and she is going to see if she can get the money together today to give my sister.
Then my sis will order it using her paypal account.
I know it is a bit early to get a pram but it is such a good deal and it only lasts 4 more days on Ebay and it is brand new and boxed!
The carseat is included too. So we are getting the carseat on top for the same price as the pram in the shop.
My mum will keep it at her house though until i am ready for it here. Smiler

Pobs- Fancy your stupid MIL saying the baby wants to come early! Mad
Silly woman it was probably just a bit of spotting like you had before and all was well then so ignore her! Smiler

Kirsten- I can't wait for my next scan when i can see what he looks like but i am a bit worried he won't let us have a good look.
But you pay so much money that they don't let you go without your money's worth so that ok.
Can't wait to see your piccies! Big Grin

Babyno5- Oh my god your ds was born at 26w how scary!
I have heard a few stories about babies being born at the stages we are at now it's weird to think my baby might be ok at this point but very reassuring.

I think i have had a bit of a tummy spurt so i will get dh to take a picture later and see what you think.
Also had too buy new bra's AGAIN!
34FF now! Eeker
This is the 3rd lot of new bras i have gone through any bigger and i am giving up and buying maternity ones.
Speak later.
Amy. xxxxxxxxxxx

Kirsten- Forgot to reply to the movement bit.
I only really get kicks low or to the side so i think my little man spends most of his time sat up against my back. (probably hence the bad legs and back!)
But i get kicks right down low and it feels like he is kicking me in the fairy's garden!
But if he kicks to the side more by my ovaries i can see it from the outside.
I had that a couple of weeks ago but the bigger he is getting now the stronger the kicks are and the more i can see it from the outside.
Can't wait to feel more.
He was on a roll this morning it does seem to be when a cat is on my lap purring so at least he is getting used to them already! x

Hello ladies,
I am still here just been a bit tied up with this and that... I shant bore you all with it!
This sunshine is great isn't it!! It making me feel all summery and we all know what that means....babies will soon be here! Yay!! Big Grin Eeker Razzer

Well i had my antenatal this morning, and when she measured me she said i was 34 weeks!!!! EH??? I shouted "WHAT??" so loud she jumped!! lol! so she re-measured me and said oh yeah, 31 weeks, so i am still measuring 2 weeks in front but i did before..i think! Baby is on 90th centile anyway so i aint going to get no dainty little thing! Urine was clear..phew.. and wait for it..HEADS DOWN!!woo-hoo! I asked if its likely to stay and she said yes, coz the head is so heavy that he will prob stay like that now! Explains why i have been visiting the porcelain throne so often in the night!! Wink(and day)
so i have had a good result all round really! Shes seeing me again in 4 weeks as i am so well, which will go as quick as anything! holy smoke, i'll be 33 weeks!

Pobs...Lol at you, you freak of nature!!!!(only joking!) I dont get how you cant enjoy all that bed to yourself!! I much prefer when Dh is working then i dont get him elbowing me in my head! yes, although we have a super kingsize bed he still manages to get me!
Smiler Congrats to your cousin having her little girl! Smiler I know a few people who have had scans and been told they are having a big baby then ended up with really small ones, apparently they aren't supposed to do it anymore??
Re, my Bf with PND i can see this is going to be a long lonely road for her aswell.. Frowner although she went to the dr's on her own yesterday and she is going to get counselling, anger management and they have changed her tablets and upped the dose.. It wasn't just brought on by having the lil one, she started with it quite early on in the pg, then she was really ill after they found out later that it was chlamydia that had made her so ill and that her Dp had been cheating on her while he was away..(he's in the army) he didn't confess until she found her no in his pocket in october tho, and when she phoned the girl, she had no idea about my Bf or the baby either.. so that sort of set her up for this really bad time shes been having since i got pg.. she was getting better but his constant lies and not turning up when he's supposedly on leave is really messing her head up. Its so hard seeing her like this as i know she isn't this person really and there is nothing i can do for her... sorry.. that was a really depressing reply.... Frowner
Annnyyyyywaaayyy....

Sezzy.. Your MIL situation sounds so familiar! Wink I am used to it now, ive had to tolerate my MIL that long now i try let it go over my head- or i'd head butt her! Although i have to say it gets to me more when i'm pg, and hate her going near my 'new babies'. Get you with the 'new positions!' Its Dh that cant be bothered now.. says he gave up on me ages ago!! I cant believe it, Eeker i'm gagging! especially with my tan i feel ultra sexy again! Red Face sorry if thats TMI!
And Ewwwwwwwww to Dh biting his nails to that extent..my Bf bites hers and when i go to do her a full set they kill her.. i tell her its her own fault for biting them..dirty, disgusting habit... Mad

Amy!!!!!.... Get you straight out with 'Fanny juice!!!' I Lmao, thats what me and my Bf say!! Its just your hormones going into overdrive and pumping the juices hunny! nothing to worry about..its all normal!
Oh yeah, whats the sellers name of the person with the pilko then? so i can have a gander! I just cant decide..one minute i say i will just get a buggy then the next i want the whole sh-bang.. ooohhhhhh, decisions, decisions!!
Big Grin
