Hi ladies, just a flying visit as I'm pooped. Been up to see family this weekend as it was my sisters 40th and not long got back. Anyway I think H&H is wrong, I've got a pregnancy book written by Lesley Regan who's a top ob gyn and it says the 3rd trimester starts at 27 weeks which I thought was right, approx 13 weeks for each trimester. So Angel you're there!!! Also Emma's diary says it too http://www.emmasdiary.co.uk/pregnancy//article/3rd_trim...rticle/3rd_trimesterWill post properly tomorrow x

Hi girls, I'm late as ever, promised posts yesterday and failed miserably didn't I? Am afraid that I've managed NO revision this weekend - I'm gonna pay for that in the exam. But I've had a really busy few weekends (hen weekend last weekend then two weekends of solid essay writing before that)and this weekend I've been pooped. I'm torn about what to do about my wedding outfit. My sis lent me a lovely black Isabella Oliver dress that she wore to a wedding when pregnant. But I've always thought of black as a no-no for a wedding. And I also had to wear the same black dress for the hen weekend (had planned to wear top and trousers but everyone was dressing up) Anyway, the plan was to accessorise it completely differently for the wedding and people wouldn't notice. So I dragged some friends along and we bought some lovely accessories, saving myself a fortune. But I can't help but think I'm going to be self conscious, in a dress the women have already seen and that I'm not sure is an appropriate colour for the wedding. And who wants to be self conscious when they're approaching the size of a house anyway?!! Normally, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a completely new outfit for a wedding, but that was before I got pregnant and now I'm really tight - every £ I spend on myself is either less to spend on my baby, or less time off work on maternity. Long may my 'problems' be so trivial!! So how are we all this Sunday night? PObs, I know what you mean, I've become quite attached to this site (recent problems notwithstanding haha) an I hardly have enough time to post on here, my plan is to post on both sites but I hope I can find the time! And an added complication is that there's a due-in thread AND a trimester thread - so there are potentially three threads with this one to keep track of! Fair play to Kate though, it looks cracking and this one has been problematic. And pobs, don't forget all your old muckers who have been with you through everything will be on that site - it's not the site it's the women on the site IYKWIM!# Anyway, can't believe you're going to a wedding 4 weeks before your C-section date, you are SO brave! We've been invited to an evening do in Bristol three weeks before i'm due and I've said I'm not going to risk it - I'd hate to go into labour there - it's only 45 mins drive but even so. DH is going but not drinking. My family all have their babies 2-4 weeks early so I'm not leaving Cardiff for the whole of July!! And good luck with the outfit buying, the shoes should be the easiest bit once we've got over the whole bump-dressing dilemma!! Amy, keep up with the sleep tips. I've got one for you - separate beds!! DH has a poison thumb (he bites his nails till they get infected, yuck), this one is really bad and keeps him awake, he's been tossing and turning so I've relegated him to the spare bed and I must say I've slept a treat these last couple of nights!! HOpe this isn't the beginning of the end of cuddling in bed though Angel, LMAO at your wedding outfit nightmare - poor you - at least this dress from my sis is comfy and I've found a one inch heeled gold wedge shoe (sounds gross but actually quite nice) which should be comfy I hope! and (((serious finger waggin voice)))) MAKE SURE you go to your physio appt, no dropping out! It might hurt at the time but it's really helping you in the long run isn't it?! Ok, nagging over now! BTW, I don't think, PObs or Angel, either of you is weird or OCD, you just sound house proud to me. I don't have the same problem with letting DH do the housework luckily, he's even more of a clean freak than me so he does a better job And I hope you both get your sore b bies sorted out soon. Kate, it's hard work being away for a weekend isn't it? Bet you're glad to be home. I thought 3rd trimetser was 27 weeks too, I must be honest. I'm explaing away my tiredness by saying I'm approaching 2nd trimester anyway! Kirstin, how's the movements now? Are you feeling bubs more? If not have you been to see your m/w? I think a few ladies on here have had phases of that, I think Amy you did, didn't you? Perhaps the baby's facing your spine and kicking backwards? HI to everyone else - where are you all?? xx

Haha!! Sezzy you do make me laugh!! You are supposed to read your post THEN post it!! saves you doing it again you wolly!! Any way, got to say i am with you on the seperate bed thing! When i was in my nan's i had a whole bed to myself all night and no Dh coming in at 3-4am and waking me up! It was lush and i got almost a weeks worth of undisturbed sleep! Kate..Hello hun, hows it going, thanks for that! I thought it was 28 weeks tbh! but if you say i am in my 3rd trimester then thats good enough for me lol! WOO HOO! *high five* Pobs.. forgot to say aswell, its nails i am doing at the moment not hair! I do do hair but i hate it!! I do acrylic nail enhancements, which i love!! Ive had mine off for a few weeks as ive been soooo skint but it my birthday tomorrow so i am getting them put back on tuesday!! YAY! Ive missed them so much. I dont do my own though, my friend does them. Hoping for my private number plate tomorrow off my dad but he prob wont get it!! I dont get spoiled by either of my parents, i am the black sheep in the family, my brother and half sister would get what they wanted at the drop of a hat but as i left home at 16 and broke my mum's heart i dont think she'll ever forgive me! (my turn for violins playing in the background today lol) Off Dh i am getting rocket dog boots and a firetrap top.. both are delayed for 14 days though so i aint gonna have them for my b'day now am I?! My nan will prob send me £20 when she realises shes missed it altogether, there are that many grandchildren and great grandchildren now she loses track, bless! My mum and brother dont bother...(I was brought up in a religion that didn't celebrate b'days, IYKWIM lol!!) And i know this is really sad but that will prob be it!! I never get much at b'days for some reason, and i told dh i didn't really want anything coz we cant really afford it, even though i bought him a playstation 3 for his b'day!! I am quite happy just to be having this baby and dont care about not getting anything much, this is my big pressie! God i am mega posting about cr@p today aren't I!! well, better go iron kids uniforms, cant believe its monday again, where do the weekends go? Night all.. Emma. x

HaPpY BiRtHdAy AnGeL......... I hope you have been spoilt today, loving the sound of a spray tan.....would it hide my terrible stretch marks????? may have to invest LOL. Hope the kiddies have been pamering ya and you got your nails done. my cousin has gone in to labour today, The ickle monkey is back to back she has been having contractions since yesterday morning and is 2 1/2 cm....don't think I will be getting a call anytime soon....bless her, its her first, very exciting. After my boob pain last night I went up to bed to find them leaking another thing that just brings it home how quick time is going. Ive been so achy today, my back, ribs, hips and between my legs, at the top. I'm walking around like an old woman Almost at the 24week mark baby no5 (((()))) Sezzy I wore black to a wedding a couple of years ago, the only thing I could find which I really loved was a black wrap dress from Etam, DF was being bestman and I was concerned what the bride would think so I asked her if she minded. She laughed at me and said I would rather you comfy and enjoy the day than feel uncomfortable (I wasn't pregnant just body consious LOL) I jazzed it up with bright pink shoes, they were lovely, a bag to match and bright jewllery. Being as your pregnant I think it would be fine...better to feel comfortable and if you already have something I say go for it, I begrudge paying lots of money for a dress I probably won't wear again. Like you said less money for more important things. Hope you've recovered from your weekend away Kate...I say YAY lets go with 27 weeks for 3rd trimester, that means i'm there. Ive been reading Emmas diary, was a freebe from MW. Where are you AMY??????? still unloading the car from your spend up????? hope you are ok. xx Waving hellloooooo to all our other due in members that are AWOL. I'm off to check out the new pic's, I feel like ive really grown this past week too Angel. Hugs for now Pobs xxxxx

Hi girls. Well we really splashed out on sat. Got some newborn baby clothes in a set cause i don't want to much newborn stuff but i need to get some. Bought a nice potential outfit for him for my sister's wedding! Stratch mits, hooded towel, more clothes etc. You get the drift we went mad. Checked out the breast pump prices as i plan to breastfeed but would like dh to be able to feed him occasionally. Also bought some paint testers and have put them in the spare room so we need to pick our favourite now. Also found a pram we like it's mamas and papas pliko pramette so just hunting the web to try and get it a bit cheeper. Angel- I have picked my nursery already it is on Kidsline.com and it is called snug as a bug! Sorry i haven't posted my usual amount of times i have just had a busy weekend. Pobs- I agree about staying here i really like this site but think that it is a good idea to have the other one aswell. I'll be staying though. Have you had any more shows since the last one? I am going through a crampy stage at the moment i hate it i keep expecting to bleed and have to go investigate asap! My sister bought me a top and tail bowl and i didn't have a clue what it was she had to explain it too me! Kate- I hope you are right about the trimester thing i thought the same that it was pretty much divided into 3. So if it is right the closer i am! Also i definitely had a stage at about 22 weeks when i didn't feel as much but by the next week he was going mad in there. It must be something about that stage they are having a growth spurt or something. Sezzy- I think black is fine for a wedding as long as you accesorise with it. You will look all glamorous! No way separate beds! I couldn't sleep a wink if i was in a different bed and i couldn't hoist my leg up as high! Also random tmi questions. What is the crack with all the juicyness down below it's ridiculous! Sometimes i am genuinely worried i have bled because there is so much fairy presents. Anyone would think i have been having sex 24/7! I wish i have but i jave completely gone off it. Since i have been feeling him move it just puts a damper on the feeling sexy thing! Anybody else like that? Also i had sharp pains in my left nipple today for about 2 hours straight. What is going on with that? Such weird things happen to your body don't they. Also i'm pissed off about the lack of nice maternity clothes around i do still want to look a bit nice whilst pregnant! Anyway i'm knackered so i'm off to bed. Check you all out in the morning after i have had an order up of some decent mat wear tomorrow. Hope everyone else is ok. Love Amy. xxxxx Me- 28 DH-26 Ciaran Jacob was born Thursday 10th July at 10.38am. Weighing 7lb2oz.

Just a quick hello to all you lovely ladies - but I just wanted to say to Amy - I'm not sure where you are, but I just got some great maternity wear from London - especially Top Shop Maternity and Gap Maternity - they both had really good selections of clothes you would actually want to wear. There is no UK website for Gap, which is a pain. Anyway, if you're going to London, it's worth a detour... I also have some great jeans from Pumpkin Patch - I seem to remember you got something from there too? Hope that helps! I feel much better in my new mat clothes, as I still feel lke "me"!! Will PM you Pobs. Love, Pxx

Just a quickie as i need a lie down!! I had just put my pj's on earlier when i got an emergecy call out as my BF had her roots done and her hairdresser just left her! (it was a favour for her as she is really bad with PND at the moment) so i had to drag all the kids up there and finish it off for her (dry & straighten it..as i always do for her!!) so didn't get back til 8, then had to bath kids as they had been playing in her garden on trampoline with no socks and running on soggy grass! nice! Thankyou everyone for the birthday wishes! I didn't get my number plate unfortunatley..booooo, but i dont mind, so i got £50 off my dad instead which paid for my tan and i bought katie price's stunning perfume aswell, then my MIL posted me a card thru while i was out with a tenner in, and i got a big box of choccies and a bunch of flowers off my SIL which was nice! Ive nearly finished the chocs already, what a piggy i am! My BF forgot which i forgave her for as she is really not well at all, then she felt really bad, and that i am afraid to say is it! Amy... I am defo with you on the cr@p selection of maternity wear.. its really hacking me off, and because we are between seasons its hard to know what to buy anyway.. I wanted to but a nice outfit today but there was sweet FA.. was looking at the stuff in next directory earlier so i may order something next week, i will never make it to the end with what i have so i will just have to go for it! Also with the pram thing, i was really set on the pilko prammette, although i haven't actually seen one in real life... but was put off it by various opinions on M&P''s stuff, I really like the silver cross dazzle now with the soft cot.. so i may get that if handle height is good for me! Also on the 'downstairs' prob, i am also having a problem there! TMI, but its getting to the point where i need to keep changing pantyliner just to stay fresh.. yuck, bad news is, i was bad during my last pg with holly.. and it never went after the birth.. this time its taking the p*ss, and is even worse, omg, what if i am like this forever??! noooooooo. Re:b00bies pain maybe they are gearing up to start leaking, me and pobs have been the same and we are having leakies now!!! Kate.. Just checked out your new pic! Oooohhhh, you are starting to get a definate little bump there hun! Sezzy..Black will be fine like the others say just jazz it up with accessorise(sp).. Pobs..Go for it with the tan! its worth it, i thought i'd be wasting my money as its obviously not gonna last that long, but i must say i feel fantastic today, its been glorious weather too so ive just felt really summery today! Its amazing what a colour can do for your well being! It has disguised my stretchmarks a bit, but they dont really bother me all that much anyway! Babyno5.. Hows it going! Time is quickly passing now isn't it! stitch seems to be doing the trick for you! when you gonna post us some more bump pics? I think i have a prob posting all my pics, i cant help it! Im a photo freak, there are something stupid like 42 pics on there!! oh dear! well as usual cant do a quick post.. well i am shattered now so off to bed to watch some tv! waving hello to everyone else, Night night.. Emma. x

Am avoiding going of to bed as DF on nights and I hate it I can't stand going to bed alone, there was a time when it wouldn't bother me but since being pregnant i'm so ruddy jumpy at night...no idea why i'm just a freak of nature LOL. Thought I would just quickly stop in before going up. Amy....On the "wet lawn" issue. I am the same its horrible especially as I panic now its bad news NO more spotting since last thursday thank god, hopefully thats it. I'm really consious of the leaking, horrible isn't it and my pee at the minute smells like an old womans LOL theres TMI for ya !!!!!! On the other query about "bedroom fun" WHATS THAT!!!! I wouldn't say its just me, much more of an equal thing. DF knows it won't hurt the baby but he is just really worried of something going wrong I think and too be honest neither of us can be bothered either he is tired or I am , then there is the whole issue of how LOL Sounds like you made a good start on the baby shopping, hard not to get carried away isn't it? Ive just spent hours serching the internet for maternity clothes especially a dress for the wedding I hvae, unless I want to take out a mortgage couldn't find anything sutable. Did find a nice one on ebay but not sure what size to get. I haven't seen any nice maternity things either, I bought a couple of smock type tops in sainsburys the other day as they are the only things ive seen that I liked and that were nice a long to cover bump. Like Angel said, boobs have been eye watering painful this week and then last night started leaking so thats probably whats happening hun. Glad to hear you had a nice day Angel.....pass the chocs then LOL. Hope your friend will be ok. Like I said to you the other day I had PND after having my DD. I can't explain how awful it was feeling like that and how ill I was, I really sympathise with her at least she has a great mate in you to support her. Its a very long lonely road to travel down that one, it was a couple of years before I felt somewhere close to normal again and that was with counseling and medication Keep posting the photos I love them.....I just can't believe your belly shape, its such a neat one. I went to take pic's tonight but battery in camera was flat and I couldn't find the printer doc leads to charge it, will look tomorrow. Right off to pm Petal back then off to bed. Night girls xxx Pobs xxx
