Hi pobs..
I WAS feeling better with pelvis etc, had another physio session this AM and i'm now in agony.. also 3 people have told me today that i am carrying really low- that, i do not want to hear! Eeker
I have another physio app on weds and tbh, i'd rather not go! I know its supposed to be for the best but at the moment it doesn't feel that way. Frowner

I know what you are saying about it being hard going with other kids to look after, but i don't really get a break from them, as Dh works long awkward hours, he starts at 4pm and gets in between 12.30 and 4.30am depending on day, he gets tues & weds evenings off, but he only really fills the dishwasher and clears after tea time.. i still bath kids, wash their hair & wet comb Abbie's (its easier to just do it every time i wash it as there is a real prob with nits in the school..nice!!), put washing in, load tumble dryer and iron uniforms for next day- as you were saying!! I dont make it easy on myself either as i wash everything after its been worn once..dont know if everyone does that but some people say its OTT!!
And i bath the kids every night.. I have to.. its part of my OCD! so by the time i get to sit down most evenings its 10.30 at the earliest..
I know i am going to be even worse when the baby is born because for some reason having a new baby triggers my ocd even more!! everywhere has to be 'right'.
I have such a strict routine that i dont really want people to help me because i know i will only re-do it myself, it winds Dh up and then we end up arguing,, so he knows its easier to just stay away! I know its wrong and he says i should let people help but i cant.. so thats why i suffer so much prob!!

So now you all think i'm a nutter, right???!

well, earlier on i found a packet of bread sauce in back of cupboard!!! I read the back and it had a meal idea!! so i just had to go to asda then, well, now, just got back!
SO.... Ive just had a Granary bap with hot turkey, cranberry sauce, and hot bread sauce on it!! Very tasty, even Ds had one!
Now i am hungry again.. i wish i could stop eating..
also as i have been suffering with the dreaded TMI ALERT constipation.. I have been eating bran flakes, kiwi and oranges- not together but i think ive overdone it, got terrible wind and my belly is making horrible grumbles.. oh the joys!

well, now ive grossed you all out i shall leave, popping over to kates new forum.. has anyone else registered? i know you have kirsten and michie has aswell! Its really good although its taking some getting used to!

See you soon,
Emma. x

Hey Angel- We crossed posts.
Sorry not feeling the bread sauce thing i'm afraid.
I just had a bowl of coco pops and they went down a treat!

Also loads of people have said about constipation and i think may have been lucky as i have never had it.
I have pretty much had the runs since i found out i was pregnant i think that is why i am not putting on too much weight.
But i feel for you with the wind i get that and sometimes it hurts quite alot when it builds up.
Oh we are such ladies! x

Amy.. X-posted you!!
Urrrggghhh, dont miss the late night fridays, i used to do the 9-7 on wednesday and friday too, but got the thursday as my day off so wasnt too bad!
Its great when people start noticing you are pg without you having to say anything isn't it!!
I'm getting the annoying 'so how long you got left' comments off everyone now.. think i will have to leave the country until i give birth if it keeps up, it gets sooo annoying after a while.. cant be doing with another 12 weeks of it..

pobs.. forgot to ask, what is the ebay sellers name that you got your pram from? i might just try that.. its just a lot of money for me to spend on ebay and quite scary should anything go wrong!!

night-night ladies and bumps.

Amy.. are you still there?? lol!!

Well i think its 28 or 29 weeks, woo hoo!! does that mean i am finally in the last trimester??!
I'm 28 weeks today, yeeeeeessssssss!
As pobs said, its a major mile stone for me as i know if he came early he would be pretty much ok with special care..
My bestfriends step sister had her baby at 23 weeks, and he has just had his 1st bottle and already had 2 op's, one on his heart and one on his bowels, he was getting better and they said that in a few weeks he could poss be allowed home.. although he hasn't even got to his due date yet and only weighs 5lb, then my bestfriend told me earlier that they've found out now he has got MRSA and is really ill.. after everything he has been through and got this far they are saying he will be lucky to make it through this as his immune system is so low.. they are absolutly devestated.. as you can imagine.
Sorry to leave on a naff subject, i just cant stop thinking about it..

ok, i am really going now, put these kids to bed!

Hi girls, just wanted to say good morning for now. I have to get ready to meet the girls in town, thye're going to help me do some shopping for this pesky wedding and then we're having lunch. BUt I wanted to say thank you to everyone for the words of calmness and advice - have really chilled about the sugar-in-urine thing and feel a bit daft getting so worked up Red Face Haha, think of the absolute worst thing it can be, that's me!

Anyway, promise I'll be back on later to do personals. I've got to revise this weekend (I only just get my essay done and I have to turn round and start revising - WHY did I choose to do this??!!). And as those of you who were around the weekend I was meant to be writing my essay will know, there will be more posting than working! Big Grin

Hi girls.
Just wanted to let you know i have found a good way to sleep if your legs are killing you at night. Smiler
Last night i had the dh on the one side(obviously) and i put a big pillow on the other.
So which ever leg hurt i would lift up on to either the hubby or the pillow and it seemed to help quite alot.
I slept until 8.45 today and that is so not like me that is a lie in for me. Big Grin

Anyway off to pick up dh from the rugby game he is watching then we are off to mother care, B&Q (for nursery testers paints) and then Toys'r'Us to check out the cots and cribs.
So we are having a baby day! Big Grin
Hopefully i'll be able to check back on later and report lots of bargains but when i am looking i usually come home with nothing so we'll see.

Also on the trimester thing i thought it was just divided into 3 stages of pregnancy so 40 into 3rds.
Just looked on H&H and it says,
1st trimester- 0-12w
2nd trimester- 13-28w
3rd trimester- 29-40w
So i'm not as close to the 3rd as i thought. Oh well not long! Cool
Speak to you later.
Love Amy.xxxxxxxxx

Evening all!

Well ive been busy working today so i'm now shattered.. Had to take holly with me to my 1st job then all 3 to the other; it was at my bestfriends so not too bad! but it is easier when i dont have to take them along!

Amy.. Glad you have found a way of getting some sleep, i just have the pillow between my knees and under bump, but i know that when i raise my legs they feel loads better, its the leg cramps that wake me up, they real hurt, and the muscle feels bruised after for a while.
You are only a couple of weeks away from 3rd trimester! it will go quick enough!
Did you get anything today? Have you chosen your nursery colour scheme yet?

Sezzy...Where for art thou??? How did the shopping and lunch go? did you find anything to wear for the wedding? OMG, i remember at 6 months preggers on holly trying to find something to wear to my 2nd-best-mate's wedding, i got a white skirt and corset top and stupid wedges that laced around the leg, about 2 hours in i could feel my legs pumping when i looked down the ties that were really thin leather laces were digging right in as my legs had swollen so much, they left huge marks and i was so uncomfy as the outfit wasnt maternity and i just wanted to put my pj's on... wasn't drinking and couldn't go early as Abbie was bridesmaid.. it was a really hot summers day and i will never go to another wedding when i am pg!! thats all i can say about that..well, acually i went to a wedding when i was pg this time but i didn't know i was pg.. but that doesn't count really does it??

ok, i am officially rambling now and talking sh**e coz i am tired,

well i am off to check on the other forum, been having fun putting scan pic's up etc!

night night,
Emma.x

Morning ladies,
Didn't get much of a lie in today..not that i ever do.. kids are really hyper and were squeeling and screetching at 9.00 so i had to get up and sort them out so they dont disturb daddy!!

Not much to report really, woke up with no pain in pelvis so maybe the phisio is having some effect now.. still not looking forward to next session on wednesday coz i know it will be followed by that intense pain again..(moaning again)

Amy... Forgot to say, this is the 1st time ive suffered from constipation, (apart from after i had Abbie- and i was too scared to go!!)
I have always suffered with the runs for the 1st half of the pregnancy, so i was really surprised it got me this time! But as they say, every pg is different!!
Anyway, wont go on about that subject..

Is it just me or is this thread becoming seriouly close to exstinction?? Ive noticed it really close to dropping off page a few times.... so come on everyone.. where are you?

Emma. x

I'm here Miss Big Grin

Sorry girls.....typed a massive post yesterday but lost it when I posted Mad then me dad turned up and we nipped out so I didn't get another chance. I was hoping to come on last night but feel asleep on the sofa at 8. Had such a late night friday. Me and DF were up talking until gone 3 in the morning Roll Eyes

Anyway i'm here now and still in my Pj's. DS and DD went camping with their dad and his partner last night so house is very quiet, DF is in bed as he is on the night shift. Hate it when their not here......house is just too quiet. My hips are really aching today as ive stayed in bed longer than normal aswell...that will teach me not to be lazy.

Angel, hope you have an easy day planned after your working day yesterday...you could always come round and do mine though...my roots are very dark but i'm loving the fact my hair is really growing, something it hardly does. I don't think you are a nutter infact I smiled as I read your post yesterday as we are very alike. Ive been so used to it just being me and the kiddies that I find it hard to except help or let DF do things, mine isn't ocd though its more of a pride thing. I had DS and DD young and I think my family were just waiting for me to fail so I never asked them for anything. The only person I did rely on was their dad my husband but he eventually let me down and left so I guess in my head ive always had that thought i'm not going to let that happen again. Poor DF has had a rough 5yrs with me LOL. And just like you said when he does doi something I have to go back and do it anyway that way I know it has defintley been done to my standard....god now I sound like a right moo. I'm lucky though as I do get time to myself like this weekend but then I spend it finding things to do like spending 5hrs cleaning the paintwork in the house or washing the skirtingboards, rearranging cupboards. I am really worrying how I will be when baby arrives. When I had my dd I think one of the resons I suffered such terrible postnatal deppression was because I put so much preasure on myself to be up and in a routine from the word go despite my tramatic experience having her and her having colic. I guess cir****tances are different this time though so hopefully things wouldn't get that bad and besides DF is fully aware and would recognise the signs..he has even read a book on it bless him. Anyway now i'm the one who looks like a nutter now for your pram dilema. Ive done some ebay research for you..hope you don't mind. The lady we got our pram from hasn't got any silvercross but her name is "lizjo24" if you wanted to take a look at what she does have. She owns a nursery store but she isn't a shop on ebay. I also looked at silvercross on there and found lots. "just4baby.co.uk" are an ebay shop with a good rating..think they were powersellers. I know also that "LTTLE ONES" another shop on there are really good, my cousin and mate both bought their prams from there on ebay..again she is a power seller. Like you I was really worried about buying such a big thing form ebay incase things went wrong but we decided we would go for a powerseller and look at their feedback, if they had been a ebay seller for a long while and only had one or two negitive comments we were interested and lucky it paid off. Hope that helps xxxxx

Amy...Glad you found a way too sleep. I have a nest of pillows in bed supporting me LOL. How did your shoping trip go???? find any bargins??? Thanks for the timester info, I was confussed by it all as every book ive got says it starts at a different time. the one I got form the MW says 27weeks, another 28, and another 26!!!! which I didn't agree with. Like Angel said it will soon come around, look at how fast its going now. Big Grin

Sezzy....No doubt you are chained to your books today..so hope its rainning for you so you don't feel too bad about it. Any luck finding an outfit???? I am in the same boat with my best friends wedding on June 7th,,,4weeks before c section day LOL. My friend as lent me a really nice red dress which has a band under the bust so skims over bump. It looks nice but is tight now so I know it won't be any good by then. I need something long aswell as I have scratched the hell out of my legs Frowner I had a peek in Debenhams yesterday, they have some nice dresses....I think finding a nice maternity dress will be a tall order so think i'm going to go for a maxi type style in a bigger size....hassle isn't it and we haven't even dissussed shoes yet matey LOL Eeker

So where are all our other forum buddies gone too????? i'm worried I will be without mates soon and you will all migrate to the other site... I know there has been some problems on here but ive been using H&H for over a year now and have made some great mates so don't want ot abandon ship just yet, after loosing baby last year I always have looked forward to psoting my labour story or c section story I should say on this site...I expect you agree Amy as we have been on here together for a while now xx. Anyway waves to everyone I haven't mentioned. Off to sort washing.
Will be back later Pobs xxxxx

Back again!
I was going to do the chart earlier after my post but site crashed.. Roll Eyes
So i will do it in a min..

Pobs.. Awwww, look at you checking out ebay for me! Your a star, shall take a look in a moment!
As for the getting on with the routine thing yourself, my mum was the same, my dad left when i was 2 and my bro was 4, she remarried when i was 15 and i can remember my stepdad always going on at her coz she would never let him do anything- it wasn't that she didn't want him to, she had just become so independent due to the fact that she had been on her own for 13 years and never had anyone to help her.. she's still the same now, i think that once you are like that its hard to ever accept help again! I prefer it like that, at least we know its done right and to our standard lol!!
Its funny how much we miss the kids when they aren't about isn't it! My friend used to take abbie and jordan when they were younger and then Dh would be working so weekends were very long and quiet! so quiet it was deafening..iykwim!!! Then she had her own baby and stopped taking them, god, i miss the quiet now!
I saw that baby bath and top n tail bowl in asds when i went to my nans! I thought it was i price mistake! i would of bought it but i had already got a top n tail bowl the week before from mothercare, and that cost me a bloody fiver!! and i dont really have room for baby bath and i find it easier to just take baby in bath with me or dip in the water before i go in! I actually used a (new!) washing up bowl with Ds! only for the 1st few weeks, it was easier to carry without all that weight of the water in it! so it makes you wonder why people buy a baby bath set for £40 just to have a lil picture of winnie the pooh on it!!

well i'm just going to do pasta for tea tonight as we had a late dinner, i was going to do pasta and bolognaise sauce but when i got bk from asda and unpacked my shopping, the jar of sauce's button was clicking so i cant use it.. i couldn't take it back coz it was dead on 4, why does it have to shut so early on sunday? so its just pasta and cheese today! Ds would eat it every day if i let him!

back soon,
Emma. x

Your welcome Angel....hope it helps, like i said there were lots of silvercross on there just depends what type your after. They did have quite alot of those silvercross Dazzle ones on there, not sure if you watch Peter and Jordan but its the pram she has LOL. I bought a top and tail bowl from mothercare too last week but thought I can give one to my MIL as she will be childminding when I go back to work Frowner I bought a bath as I htought it would be easier after c section, i'm really lucky as I have a massive bathroom. Too one side is the headroom for the stairway which is tiled and about waist height so idea as a changing table and somewhere to have baby bath. Saves bending down over the big bath.

Well don't know about you but my boobies are killing me again. My right one is really painful and burning hot to touch today. why do you think that is then???

Enjoy the pasta, I had a bit of a gorge at lunchtime so not bothering with dinner tonight. Kiddies have been out for sunday roast and just cooked DF his as he has just left for another night duty...hate it Frowner xxxx

OMG pobs.. that is sooo weird, i was watching katie and peter last night and thought, i do like that pram, but i dont know if its a bit too weird looking.. but i have looked on kiddicare.com and silvercross and i like the idea of the softcot, but i will still have it as a buggy after which i will use more than a big pram.. so i think thats a contender at the moment, i forgot to say that earlier!!
AND.. my boobies started hurting again last week, i dont know if i posted that actually or not, but my right one has been a bit leaky today aswell, if its hot get it checked out as it might be a blocked milk duct..and you dont want no nasty infections.
ok, going to look at ebay now!

xx

LOL that is werid. I think its quite funky isn't it, very similar style to the mamas and papas Luna with the carrycot sitting on the buggy bit, will be great if room is a problem. I did wonder where I'm going to put all my bits today as the buggy part is seperate...I was blinded by the colour not the practicality LOL Roll Eyes

Will keep an eye on the boob situation thanks. I haven't had any leaking but about a week behind you so have it to look forward too, I did wonder whether they would on friday when I was rocking my friends ickle baby.
