Hi girls.
Went to my mum's last night for a chinese and it was lush i think i am still full from it now! Eeker
Baby was really quiet the last couple of days but he made up for it last night and today that's for sure. Big Grin
I woke up at he was kicking me at 2 o'clock this morning so i couldn't sleep went for a glass of warm milk to try and get me to sleep and that seemed to work.
Then 2 o'clock today he went for it again and luckily husband was with me this time because he hasn't felt him that much for ages. Smiler
So he was well chuffed.

Sezzy- How was the Italian and i do very much approve.
Well go on then tell me what you had and make my mouth water! Big Grin
How was dirty dancing my sister saw that and she absolutely loved it.

Angel- Glad you are safe back form the motorway driving i have really got to go for it on the motorway soon myself.
I have never heard of anyone measuring so much more than their dates how weird.
I take it they ruled out her being further along than they thought?
I can't believe that some of us are approaching 30 week marks it's scary! Eeker

Pobs- Hope the aches and pains have calmed a bit. I have been a bit crampy this weekend but i would have been due af.
It is still scary when it feels like it is coming anyway.
But i think that it is because we have bled that we are a bit fearful of the dreaded toilet wipe!

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend.
I had a really achy back friday at work followed by my legs hurting me and keeping me up all night. Mad
But woke up sat and it was fine and i had a much better sleep last night (apart from the kicking my boy gave me).
So i can judge it a bit if my legs are going to keep me up all night and when he has been on a nerve.
If i get a bad back i might try the warm milk before bed see if it helps me sleep a bit better.
I'm off to put another bump piccie up as i think i have had a little spurt. Big Grin
Still small though but it's big to me!
Love Amy. xxxxxxxx

Hello...

Well we woke up to a bit of snow this morning, its all gone now tho, it has tried to snow again on and off all day but its too wet to stick.. kids are gutted!

Amy.. Mmmmm, chinese, my fav, (like everything else at the moment then!)
Ive had a growth spurt aswell i think, woke up this morning and he looks huge! he is VERY active now, and see allsorts of weird shapes poking out of my belly!!
He has these little things he does and its like he is getting a routine.. especially waking me up at 3.20 am..every morning so i have to go to the bathroom!
Go for it with the motorway driving! It is scary and i did feel a bit intimidated when i had a suited man in a merc pushing my bumper.. before i could pull across he undertook me!!! cheek!!
I passed my test on 30th may last year so ive been passed a year next month! cant believe how quick its gone!

well, I'm off to put tea out now, we are having roast pork and veggies! Scrummy!!God i love my food at the moment, think i need to slow down a bit or i'll never get back into my size 12 jeans!

where is everyone, this thread seems to be slipping very close to the bottom of the page until someone rescues it.. hope the bad atmosphere hasn't put people off!!!!!

Hello to eveyone, and special hello to my buddies, Trad and Michie.. I know you are out there...somewhere!!

Quick question for everyone on holiday entitlement at work when i leave.

I work in a small business which is a salon and is family run.
I work 4 days a week and am entitled to 16 days a year hol and my bank holidays extra.
Now my last working day is down for June 28th at the moment.
I have taken 4 days holiday already in March and have 4 days in May.
I was led to believe that this is all the holiday i am getting before i go on maternity leave as i am only working 6 months of this year really.
My holiday goes from jan-jan.
I have read that you should still get holiday pay though even when you are on mat leave and i thought that i was just going to lose those lasst 2 weeks.
I don't think my employers know this as they are very nice and not at all trying to do me out of money.
But does anyone know what is right and where i can find it written in black and white if it is right so i have proof?
x

Amy, Last year i was working in a salon doing nails - i took over for a friend of mine who was starting her maternity, i know they tried to do her out of her entitlement to holiday pay and they were really nasty about it all, in the end she just thought f**k it, and she lost out on quite a bit.. not sure about all the legalities but if you look on citizens advice website that tells you quite a bit,
sorry, i'm not much help really..

Hi ladies, sorry I've not been about for a while.

Have had a tummy bug, god I've never had such terrible pain in my tummy, every time baby moved it really hurt. I'm just about better now.

Then on Friday night (3.30am) Ben managed to climb out of his cot and crashed to the floor screaming, he was fine but we were up for ages before he'd go back to sleep. So we've taken the sides off the cotbed and put a guard on so last night i kept hearing him get out of bed so again missed out on some sleep as he kept coming in our room. And to top it off yesterday evening he climbed on one of the kitchen chairs that fell over and he cut his forehead open so we had to get it glued and stitched at a&e, he was so brave bless him.

Anyway not had a chance to read the posts properly for a while but I can sympathise with all the pg complaints we're having. I've started to get a touch of sciatica while in bed too - ouch! but on the plus side I'm feeling more and more movement from the outside now and have seen my belly move too Big Grin. My scan showed my placenta is anterior this time so explains while I'm only feeling movement low down ad its high up at the front.

Hope you are all well, my belly had popped out now so look pg and not fat lol. Will post another pic when I get around to it.

Babyno5, I'm counting own the days with you hun. I'm sure with the stitch in everything will be ok.

Love to all x x

please post, please post !!!

Angel- Thanks i have checked out the web and it looks like even though you are on mat leave you are still entitled to your normal benefits.
So by the look of things i should still get the 2 extra weeks hol but it does also say 'in your contract' and i have never signed a contract.
It is lush to have a job where it is a bit more relaxed but then when things like this come up you don't want to cause a fuss. Roll Eyes
Especially as it is only 2 weeks when i have a whole 9 months off.
But i will mention it still though. Eeker

Kate- Hiya. Sorry you have been ill stomach bugs are horrible when you are pregnant as i think your body looks after baby mostly.
It's good in a way but it leaves you feeling like shit and really drained.
Oh no, another sciatica victim. It is shit isn't it. I am starting to recognise the night's that i am going to have a bad one. Mad
If my back has been hurting all day that is when my legs play up.
The midwife told me that it is just the baby on a nerve and unfortunately there is not much you can do.
Apart from standing and sitting up as much as possible.
I'll be having a warm milk before bed to try to get a good night's sleep tonight as i think i will be up needing the loo anyway so a milk won't make a difference! Smiler

Anyway my bed is not long calling me so goodnight girls.

Still here!
I was off to go warm my milk and checked out the other thread.
So sad about Cathy.
And what the hell is going on with the ttconceiver's it is such a shame this website is so good for support for each other it would be a shame to lose anyone over all that.
Now i am really buggering off. Thoroughly depressed about the sad going's on on this site! (hormones don't help!)
Goodnight girls again! x

Oh dear poor Cathy that is very unfair. I started up the clomid thread back in 2005 when I was taking meds to try and get pg with Ben and she used to post on there. She's had such a tough journey.

I can't believe whats going on with the ttc threads, is such a shame. I don't know why it can't all be put to bed now. I've been on this site since 2004 and I've never seen anything like it.

Hi girls.
Just checking in on things.
Long day at work today as had bad night with pains in legs but as there is not much i can do about it i am just really trying to keep cheerful.
Also i have a while to go yet so if this in in for the long hall there is no point getting sad about it i just have to get on with it.

Oh my god, i worked ouy today i have 11 weeks on sat until my last day before i go on mat leave!
That means 15 weeks ish on sat until i have my baby! WooWoo.
If i think of that my legs don't bother me so much.

Babyno5- I am so pleased you have nearly got to 23 weeks now with the stitch looking good.
If it was going to happen wouldn't it have been more like about 20w.
It will be nice when you are well past that and can enjoy it.

Have a good night's sleep the girls it looks pretty quite on here and the page was off the screen so at least i have bumped it up.
Amy. xxxxxxxxx

Hello Lovely Ladies,

How are we all??????

I'm on half term WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!! I know i'm like a child LOL. Its not a school night so I can stay up abit later tonight if i'm good LOL

Its so exciting to check out all your tickers when I read your posts and see how far we have all come. I'm sooo excited at the minute, we ordered our pram on thursday....the cosatto mobi in red. I know not the Jane I said I wanted....i'm so pram fickle girls, there was just too much choice and the fact we got this at a great price swung it. It should be here anyday. We went to ikea and Lakeside at the weekend and got all the cot bedding and various things so almost there now. I'm so organised this time around. I sat for ages this morning just staring at the little clothes we have bought...I can't wait to meet our little one. The cramps have subsided thanks for your comments on them girls, think af must have been due, they have been replaced by very strong braxton hicks though and rib pain...anyone suffering from that, its right under my right boob.

Amy...see what I mean about the doppler Roll Eyes I haven't found her heartbeat again since that night when I said I had LOL. Sounds like your sis is a very excited aunty in waiting Big Grin YOu were right when you said about the "wiping" Its still there isn't it that worry even though we have come this far...going to go check out you bump pics in a minute. Sorry can't help about the holiday entitlments..its all different working in a school, think Angel was right though Citzens advice are great for answering your questions.

Angel...Glad you got back safely....I would love to drive. Your poor sil, thats just crazy isn't it and one big baby!!!!! Eeker How are your braxton hicks, are you still finding them very painful???? Sorry you are suffering with the spd, have you had your appointment yet with regards to it????

Babyno5..... YAYYYYYYYYY you're almost there now, am closly watching your ticker hun. How are you feeling???

Kate....sending hugs ((((())))) hope you are feeling better. Sounds like you have a little daredevil there with you...poor ben hope his head is ok. My friends daughter has just gone into a bed and everynight they go up and find her asleep on the landing floor surrounded by every teddy she owns.

Seezy... how was your weekend?? I would love to see dirty dancing, was it good

Hope Kirsten, meadow, Pj and the others are ok. going to have to leave it there as rib pain is really hurting again..maybe its a foot digging in there or something....would the baby be that high though????

Lots of love and hugs
Pobs xxxxx
