Hi Kate, hope your scan goes well - don't forget to let us know!
Angel, where are you hun? You haven't been on since 25 March which is soooo not like you. Hope you're ok. There's some hugs and cwtches for you on the previous page xx
PObs, hope you had a good sleep last night and feeling a bit better for it. IkWYM, am struggling through today and a mountainous to-do list in work, when I could fall asleep on a chicken's lip. Got an essay to write this weekend for a course I'm studyign BOOOOOO!!!!!!! Hope your presence amongst us is prolonged now, whinges or no whinges, we're all at it at the mo LOL!! can you send your lovely friend who did you the baby box round here please? I'm miles behind on the shopping!
Amy, how's you leg hun? Got any further with the links etc? HOw did your late night in work affect it? LOL at DH and the rugby comment. My poor baby's gonna be dragged to the rugby male or female - me and DH are both fanatics LOL!! And how cool he recognises DH's voice - they do say it's easir to hear the deep male voice. My DH has the odd little talk but I'll have to get him to be more regular.
Babyno5, how are the noisy neighbours? We had some of those in the last house, eventually we cured it by making more noise than them over a weekend, I just don't think they realised how thin the walls were. HOpe your pains are easing.
Meadow - you too on the leg pain, what is it with us lot??? Hope yours is easing!
Kirsti, those PJs look SOOOOO comfy hun! Great bump!
Hi Jessley, Ualreadykno, PJ, Kirstin - still no sign of you - hope you are all doing well and happy.
As for me, I'm sharing the blues with those of you who are suffering. Was walking through the town centre on my lunchbreak yesterday thinking "why aren't I happy?? I'm pregnant, healthy (apart from the sciatica), in a good relationship, have fab family and it's sunny!! I should be on top of the world!!". Hmph, answers on a postcard please. I really don't have a lot to feel blue about. DH says it's probably tiredness, I'm really struggling to get to sleep with this sciatica and work is awful at the mo. Hey ho, clocks go forward Sunday, perhaps I've got a late season SAD that'll clear up when the nights draw out!
Scan was fine, everyting normal and she measured spot on for dates - phew! madam was in an bad position and all we saw were body parts and they couldn't check everything so I had to go off for a walk for half an hour and have some chocolate and luckily she moved and they were able to check everything. She kept kicking at the probe which felt really odd and we saw her drinking! the lady gave me 2 scan pic's for free (supposed to pay £2 each) so that was really lovely of her. Will put the best one on msn.
Love to all, a relieved Kate

Sorry to crash in but wanted to send some love and hugs to Amy
So glad things are going well and also thrilled you've joined team blue! 23 weeks and counting hey? Well done you. Just to say about the legs - make sure you do check it out with the Midwife - it is very common to get dead legs in pregnancy and also very normal but pregnancy does sometimes cause problems with veins and valves and things in your legs especially with jobs like teaching and hairdressing where you are on your feet all day. If it gets hot and itchy at any time go to the GP as it could be a DVT. Highly unlikely hun and don't want to scare the beejeezus out of you but just wanted you to continue being healthy and well!!!!
Lots of love and well wishes - hope you don't mind me poking my snout in!
Take care xxxxx

Hi! Sorry for being AWOL, its been a mixture of getting a bit of work my way, then being knackered.. and just too lazy to fire this stoopid pc up, and then when i do.. this bl00dy forum is down so.. anyway i'm here now sooo..
Amy.. HAPPY 23 WEEKS!! I am with sezzy on the pelvic girdle pain, i get it but not every night.. do you have pillows supporting your bump and lower back and between your knees, i get pain if i turn in my sleep and dont take my pillows with me, its like the weight of my top leg cuts off the oxegen supply to my other leg and all arond my pelvis hurts and i almost collapse trying to go loo.. see how it goes but just mention it to your MW next time so they are aware.. i did and she refered me for physio straight away, got my app through this AM so i go on the 8th april for my 1st session. Do you get what i meant about this beans and trifle now??!!!
Kirsty...Glad things are improving with Kaihden! I think we always forget about teething when they are grizzly..then suddenly it clicks!! My bestfriends Dd has been really out of sorts for weeks and weeks, then she saw she had about 5 teeth all coming through at once!! she felt awful!(for not realising!) We have an adsa but no maternity.. i will try Llandudno next time i go as its a bigger store! thanks!! Pics are good!! I think we must all take pics in our Pj's or undies!! (eh sezzy!! )
Sezzy.. You're a real love!! thanks for the TLC feeling better now!
Pobs.. Whinge away!! I do, what the heck! I have good days and bad days with the braxton hicks... its weird, weds pm i was convinced i was in labour and told Dh not to have a drink incase i had to go in (he had his drink though!! he knows me!!), i sat and cried all night and got myself in a right tizzy, he said "If there was something i could do to take the pain away i would" i know he means well but he doesn't understand, its not so much the pain its the thought of what it could be and lead to something not so innocent, i could get on with it if i knew 100% everything will be ok, i'm just a worrier- cant help it! so yesterday i had a really quiet day, only got 2 tightenings, then today again had quite a lot and they are strong.. so i will just have to get on with it i think! At least he is really active today which i am happy about, its comforting to know he is happy in there!! Yes, you need to get some more pics up!!
Meadow!!!.. long time no read! Glad you are well, Thanks for the congrats!! Its 2 different people that kicked Ds in the nuggets(as he calls them!) its really upsetting when he is hurt like that how can kids be so evil? but both kiddies have recovered ok from their mishaps... thankfully! thanks for asking! As for which are easier to raise its hard to say as its not just down to girl/boy its their personalities aswell!! For me i would say the girls are more challenging and push their luck.. Jordan has ADHD but i find i can relate to him better despite his problems and i have a really strong relationship with him! but they do say mummy's favour their boys more... not sure that i favour him i just find it hard to be cross with him!! The girls just push their luck and are very crafty! like me then, only joking!! but my friend says she thinks girls are easier..?? hard to say! Are you getting a scan / finding out what you are having?
Kate.. HAPPY 20 WEEKS!!so glad all is well with missy!! even if she was playing up to start with! I think most of these lil' monkeys have misbehaved at scans!! This one was kicking the probe last time aswell, it felt odd, a bit like when you knock your funny bone? well it did for me anyway..
Babyno5... Dont worry about not wanting to post any scan pics yet, its totally understandable as Amy says, she has only just put hers up last week, its entirely your choice! My baby isn't in the ideal position either.. he's lying across but MW said its fine, and 2nd, 3rd babies etc dont usually settle til begining of labour.. Ds stayed like this until day before for me.. which was at 37 weeks.. so they have plenty of time to turn! I'd say 2lb 5oz is a good weight for 26 weeks.. as at 24 weeks i think they say it should be just under 2lb.. it all depends i suppose.. Glad all is ok with you and bubba!!
Ever...nice to have you pop on, we dont mind at all! Geeeezzz! 33 weeks tomorrow! I remember when you got your BFP.. only seems like yesterday!! Time is going waaaayyyy too fast..
Got to dash, my cakes are ready!! mMMMMMMMMmmm delicious!!!
hi to anyone i missed,
Emma. x
ps.. Just realised.. i now have less than 100 days left.. OMG!

Hee-hee Sezzy..look at you worrying over me!! its just took me 2 hours to do that post! I forgot and started making cakes in the middle of doing it!!
I cant remember who it was now but someone made a trifle then dropped weight watchers beans in it!! its on the TTC thread!! Made me chuckle anyway.. then i just HAD to make a trifle the next day.. and i dont even like trifle normally.. obviously this baby does.. coz it was LUSH!!!!
Hi girls. Lovely day off. Not! It's raining outside and i'm sorting the laundry basket out. Oh well it's only a quite day but i'm quite glad as i didn't sleep very well again last night but hopefully i can have a nice power nap today. Me and dh are going out for an italian meal tonight as i want to go out somewhere nice and get dressed up for a change.
Pobs- i think you are going to have to go out and treat yourself to some new clothes as you are only going to get bigger. I think i'm on the way to my first pair of maternity jeans now. I've been lucky enough to be able to get mine on but they are not fitting me so well now. I got a free catalogue through from www.vertbaudet.co.uk in my mum-to-be pack and their stuff looks nice. So i might have an order up i don't mind spending a bit if i use the clothes in the future.
Sezzy- I tried to sit as much as poss at work which i can when i am cutting some people's hair and it has been much better thanks. It was really bad the other day when someone was off sick and i was on my feet all day apart from my half hour lunch so i think it's worse then.
Kate- Briliant that the scan went well. What is it with these awkward babies not wanting to co-operate!
Ever- Hi ya thanks for popping on and it's good to here from you too. Can't believe how far along you are though where is all the time going!
Angel- What will the midwife be doing with me on Tuesday then? I know i have to take a urine sample and she will check protein. Also she will chat about my scan. Will i hear the heartbeat every time now? Also she won't be able to tell what position my baby is will she as he will be on the move so much.
Anyway off to have a bit of dinner but not too much as i'm saving myself for some tasty italian tonight. That sounds really saucy but i'm much more interested in the food! Love Amy. xxxxxxxxxxxx

We've just gone and put a deposit down on a pram & 2 car seats! Very exciting but very expensive...... we went for the Bugaboo Cameleon in the end - tried very hard to find something cheaper but nothing else quite fitted the bill. We do a lot of off road walking but also walk into and round town so I kept thinking we'd end up having to buy two systems if we didn't get the Bugaboo - one carrycot/offroad pushchair and one for round town. And the Bugaboo pushchair faces both ways by just moving the handle rather than the seat unit, is big enough for my tall DH, and is generally a groovy looking thing! We also got a Maxi cosi car seat and base for me (to fit on the pushchair) and a fixed Britax 0-4yr car seat for DH's car (which we would take on long trips), as well as the usual parasol and cosytoes (but not the ridiculously expensive Bugaboo ones!). So my credit card's taken a battering!! To be fair the shop knocked a good discount off, and their Bugaboo was already £50 cheaper than the best internet price, so we haven't done too badly.
And we're lucky enuogh to have a large family of people kind enough to give us a hand - my parents are buying the pushchair, my auntie's buying the car seat, MIL/FIL will buy us the cot and changing station /drawers and my sister's giving us all her old bits and bobs you need (bath, sleeping bags, bouncy chair, steriliser etc). We're dead lucky.
So I've finally started the enormous list of shopping for my babby!!
How is everyone else today? Amy, glad you're doing better with your legs. Angel, hope the cakes were yummy. Everyone else - HI! And see my last long post for personals for all of you!!!

G'day... well its cr@p actually... chucking it down, Ive got a banging headache.. didn't sleep well either as i had chicken korma for tea last night and was sitting up constantly and being awaken by a sick coming up feeling all night.. it wasn't tho btw!! it was acid reflux thingy so i gave in at 4.20am and had to have some gaviscon..vile! but it worked and i slept then til 8.30..
Amy.. not sure what your MW will do hun as i suppose they are all different, but mine checks urine, blood pressure, listens to baby HB, asks if i feel regular movements off baby, sometimes weighs me.. last week was the 1st time she has checked the position, so maybe they will for you, oh, and she took blood to check for anemia.. she was quite good this time, i am usually in and out.. which i hate, just because its my 4th it dont mean i am an expert and still need reasurance with this pg as much as the others, (there i go moan, moan!)
Well, i am going away to manchester tomorrow for a few days so i wont be on til nearer the end of next week so dont worry, i am ok, Its my 1st motorway experience and i am sh***ng myself.. with all 3 kids and bump on board.. I must be crazy!! So i will catch up with you all as soon as i get back. Take care mummie's and tummie's!!!
Sezzy.. OMG, you have really gone for it haven't you!! woo hoo, well done! I think its a real adrenaline rush when you do it like that!! (or am i just odd!!) well i will see you when i get back,
Hey Angel, it's not jsut you I feel an enormous sense of relief to have just gone for it and ordered all the big expensive things - relief, a high from spending money and a bit of guilt for the amount I've jut spent! Never mind, as I keep telling DH, this is why I sold my sports car.......
Good luck with the driving! You'll be fine!! Hopefully it'll be nice and quiet today. and I won't worry about you till the end of next week
Sezzy- Wow what a shopping list i should be thinking about that sort of stuff soon whilst we can still afford it!
Angel- Good luck on the motorway i think we passed our tests about the same time didn't we and i haven't gone on the motorway yet either. To be honest i'm better on the open road it's the town driving i don't like. We have a really tight drive too which i have only just braved getting on to the last 2 days. But once you have done it you wonder why you were so stressed about it in the first place.
