hi all,

hope everyone's doing well.

as for me....everyone at work figured out i was pregnant because i always felt sick, smelled everything, etc. and when they asked i didn't want to lie because they would notice down the road. anyway when i told my boss she was pissed. trying to find everything wrong with what i do. ugh i called out today think i will quit and get something else where they have official maternity leave anyway.

get a scan next week will be 9 and a half weeks by then. can't wait. what can you see at 9 weeks? oh, and do you have to drink wateR? they didn't tell me to this time. sure hope i don't have to because it will be very hard for me to hold!

i've been looking at water births lately and the testimonials of the people who did that. sounds really nice. they say it helps you with the pain naturally because it takes the weight off of you and you have much less chance of tearing. gotta find out if they have that around here because i'm going natural and don't want to be in a bed hooked up to an iv i want to be able to move freely and go in any position i find comfortable! and the nice part is your husband can go in the water with you and pull the baby out. it sounds relaxing. otherwise will try to go through labor in my own bath tub. crazy but women have been birthing for centuries without hospitals i think i can too. that's if i can't find anywhere to give birth in the water. Smiler soudns crazy right

i don't know about in the uk, but in the usa children are required to get 9 shots such as chicken pox, flu, etc. did you know in a lot of the shots there is mercury? and althoguht there is no proof, they think some of the shots could be linked to autism. that's a hot topic for me....i don't know if i want my child having all those shots if they don't have well-documented facts about it yet. it's new and i don't want my kid to be a guinea pig. actually one of the shots (flu i think?) was recalled!!! after 1 million children used it!! idk, i'm going to be very careful and pick out what i think my child should have, not some doctors!! i went through chicken pox and lived through it, so i don't see why my child needs that. anywayyyy let me quit babbling

about the names, i think i will pick an italian or native american (my side) or spanish name. for a boy it'll be luis jr. girl i don't know.

anyway hope all is well for you all!!!

Hi Divvy and welcome to the Due July/August thread!! Big Grin
Its weird when mother and daughter are pg at same time! My mum was 5 months pg when i found out i was pg the 1st time, although i lost that one.. but my sister was only 15 months old when i had my Dd#1!! and i was only 18!! It used to be funny when we used to go out shopping together with the two in prams- a 1 year old for an auntie! Eeker

Anyway i hope you enjoy your time on the thread, i'm sure you will get on great with trad, she is expecting her 5th also! I think you are both about the same age aswell. Wink

well enough from me, i'll hand over to the others, unless ive been crossed posted, lol!

Hey divvy, welcome

wow you are very similar to me, same age and same no of kids, my eldest girl is 18 next birthday but my youngest is 20 months and your grandchild will have an aunt or uncle not born yet? That is so exciting. Hope you are feeling well.

I don't know what has happened to nic but I keep my fingers crossed and hope there is no reason why she hasn't been on for a while and that she is just very busy.

Lovely bubble bath after Eastenders and a few pages of a good book. bliss.

Father christmas came round tonight in his sleigh to see the kids and give sweets. Bria was quite impressed I think.

Hi ladies
glad to hear your all doing well. and welcome to the newbies.
sorry i havent been on lately im just so tired all the time, i have got into the habit of getting the kids to bed then climbing into bed to watch only fools and horses, only to fall asleep 10 mins into it lol.
Trad i remember you saying you have had home births before, where they in your opinion better and more relaxed than in hospital? would you reccomend it?
i probaby wont get to have a home birth as i have had to have 2 inductions before because both my girls were 13 days overdue but it would be nice to have a general idea of what to expect.

right must dash warm bed waiting Wink
hope your all doing ok

Hello ladies,
Well ive had a terrible night last night, my 2 youngest picked up a really bad bug from school and threw up every 10 minutes, violently ALL night, and i had to sit up with them, i think my washing machine is burnt out..

On a brighter note, i would like to say that i have created us an MSN group where we can all go and post our pictures from bumps to births.. eventually, i am the manager so you will have to apply then so long as you are a regular poster on the this thread i will be able to accept!! simple, in theory!
Ive added some pics and then on tuesday i will be able to put my scan pic on!! yay!

so let me know what you think, i have been a member on a site before when Dd#2 was little and it was a great place to share pics and finally put faces to names! oh, and i aint no phsyco so youre all pretty safe,lol..!

hope you all doing well,

Emma. xx

Hi girls.
Had a bit of brown blood today so am not taking any messing and have phoned the hospital they will see me at 8.45 tomorrow. Frowner
I have to have a urine sample and a full bladder incase they scan me.
So i am a bit scared what the next few days will hold for me. Confused
Could have done without a scare this week as this is when the heartbeat stopped last time but i'm not taking any shit and waiting until a 12 week scan to see what is happening. Mad
Hopefully though i will just have to expect a bit of stuff every now and again and everything is fine.

Divvy- Welcome and congrats. Big Grin

ualreadyknow- You have to have a full bladder as it pushes your womb forward and you get to see more in the scan.
You will see a nice little heartbeat at 9 weeks though and a definate baby shape coming together. Big Grin

Well i know one thing i will be glad when we are all over the 12 week mark it will be such a weight off my mind.
Fingers crossed for me tomorrow girls.
Lots of love.

Hi all

Amy I hope everything has gone well for you this morning and its just the old blood they saw before, it sounds like it if its brown but best to get it checked and put your mind at rest.

pj girl nice to hear you are well, its all busy busy busy at the moment.
Great to hear you saw your baby.

angel oh your poor little ones, I think Bria has a bad tummy, shes not really complaining but shes having a lot of poopy nappies and they are not nice (are they anyway?) and she had a bit of a cry after her nap yesterday and we didn't know what was wrong so we've given her calpol today and see how it goes. I've clicked on the msn link and it doesn't work for me, its anyone else able to click and get it.

Jess homebirths were great for me, I felt restricted in the hospital whereas at home, I could do what I wanted, walk about, all my favourite music playing and my family just mosying about. My eldest went upstairs and watched abit of tv till I was ready to push lol then she popped downstairs to watch the head come out.

Hey to everyone else. gotta go and do some shopping. I am officially old mother hubbard.

I'm not sure...???
It works ok when i click on it..
Do you have an MSN passport.net ID?
You need to be registered to be able to join a group, or create one,
let me know how you get on.

Amy,.. sorry you are still getting bleeding, let us know how you got on hun, and take it easy. Its not easy when there are dates and numbers to remind us along the way, and i know i am 12 weeks on tues day but i wont stop worrying about it all until baby is finally here safe and well. thinking of you.
(((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))

everyone else sorry but i got to dash and will be back later for personals,
