Afternoon all, happy weekend!!

I Hope ds is ok Angel, what did the DR say. Poor thing. Not your week at all is it. It is the blue and orange pram we like, although we do also like the new version.. jane slalom pro, that has 3 wheels. Think the one we like is going to be the most practical and it means at that price we will have money left to get other bits. My in laws have given us £500 to buy a pram which is a huge help. I keep looking at the little things we hvae bought and can't wait to put her in them. I love the name Ruby too. Glad your feeling better. Flu is no fun, promise to keep everything else to myself.

Seezy......The ebay shop is called "little ones" I wouldn't say I had difficulty buying clothes for ds when he was a baby but he had to go into older clothes say 3-6months for the length but they were too big in the body..more like the babygrows and things. That makes him sound like he was really out of proportion LOL, he wasn't just long legged.

Kirsten...congrats on reaching 24 weeks. So we have leaky boobs to look forward to then!!!! LOL. Glad Grace is ok and just a minor scare. With regards to your panic attack. I can't say ive had anything as bad as that,,poor thing must have been awful. I do get a racing heart now and again for no reason which is unsettling. I can be just sitting on sofa and it feels like its pounding out of my chest. You should speak to your DR. I suffered with a form of asthma when I was carrying my son. I had to have a pump and had a few attacks which were really scary. Once his head engaged I was fine and never had it again after he was born.

Baby No5...... Not long til the 24week mark hun. Little steps, your soon be ordering your pram xx

Amy....How are you???? how are the kicks coming along??

Kate...Hope Ben has recovered and that you don't catch it from him.

Pj...Imogen is a lovely name..get in there first and tell SIL its in your top three LOL.

Not a long essay as usual today...thank god I hear you all cry !!!! My foot is sooo painful again today, has made me boo again. I look a right picture...and not one of a blooming pregnant woman....red, peeling nose, big black eyes from lack of sleep and headache, 4 chins as glands are swallon and i'm walking with a limp.....nice!!!!! I have a new craving for Sprite aswell for some reason. Baby is quite happy though kicking about in there. DF was getting upset as he couldn't feel them so I told him to rest his head there..he did and she kicked him in the face which he thought was just brilliant. Bought tears to my eyes the excitment that came from him..so sweet.

right off to finish watching Goodnight Mister Tom with DS and apply hot water bottle to the foot.

Hugs to all Pobs xxxx

Pobs...
Sorry.. Did try and come on last night to post but site crashed...AGAIN.. so i gave up..
Anyhoo..Ds is fine, thanks for asking! Just a bit sore, no real damage done but Doc is a bit concerned as to why this has happened to him twice in a year now, he said bullying should not be overlooked.. thing is school dont give a sh*t- if it was another child then it would be a different story.. but i wont start on that one!

Well, today we had a family outing to Llandudno..woo hoo! Only so i could go to mothercare, coz ive been itching to try prams out what with all this pram talk on this and sept/oct thread!! (i blame Michie! Wink)
How disappointed was i? The only 'prams' there were the silver cross 3D - which i tried and is too low..lovely pram though and a lot like pilko pramette, she said try the MY3..That was horrendous, huge wheels that i cant stand and was 3 wheeler so tried to tell her nicely, no way. then she showed me a hideous pram in the catalogue, no thanks, then there were only 2 others there- quinny buzz, another 3 wheeler- no like.. and urban detour or summat in brown, no thanks, the rest were buggy's- I must say i still love the maclaren techno XT, which i has for holly until she was 3 then my nephew-(who is real big for his age but same age as holly) sat in it and it collapsed, i couldn't believe it, GUTTED.
So i came from there with top and tail bowl, some dummy's- just incase!! (yeah right, will be using them first night!!) and a pair of tights in sale, and a denim mini skirt!! OMG, how much have i missed my denim mini??!! so shall be wearing that tomorrow with my cosy leggings and boots! feel 100% better knowing i can wear clothes i normally wear, IYKWIM!!
Tried a maternity bra on at what i thought was my size..36B, uh-oh, too small, so next time will get measured when i have more time, as Dh had to rush me in and out so he could go to work.

SOoooooooooooooooo, i am still well confused as to which pram i will get now, lots of time to decide though!

With the leg length issue, mine have all been out of proportion with babygro's- never used newborn, but the 0-3 are bit long so i put socks over the top of the feet bit to stop them curling up into a ball and their legs disappearing from where they should be! hard to explain but i'm sure you know what i mean!
I have found the bag i am going to have for hospital this time, PINK Nike one from JJB! so i will start thinking about putting stuff aside for that soon! Early i know but got a feeling this baby is going to be early for some reason, maybe just because its summer and a boy and Ds was early.. you can never be ready too early!

well i think ive gone on enough today, just trying to pass the time til i can put my monsters to bed!

off to be nosey on some other threads now!

Hope everyone ok, and enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Night-night,
Emma. x

Hello on this wet and miserable Sunday.

Very quiet you must all be busy having sunday fun!!! I'm home alone, always sounds nice but I get lonely Frowner Still feeling out of sorts but flu is certanly on its way out, I managed to sleep in bed all night last night.

Just a quick hello really. Hope you are all ok. Angel good idea about the socks, didn't think of that. Ive bought 0-3months in everything but they look so big and barring in mind i'm having her two weeks early think I might have to get some smaller stuff just incase. Why have you changed your mind about the Pilko pram again??? my friend, well actually two of my friends have got that one (both in the dark demim colour) they are really happy with them. I keep thinking we have got ages but its only 14weeks!!! Like you said it will soon come around. I can't wait to go and have a spend up. I looked on the ikea website the other day and they have loads of baby blankets, cot beding, muslin squares, baths etc dirt cheap so we are going to go up in the half term and have a look.
Right off to do abit more tidying. Have to keep stoping as my foot hurts.

Hugs Pobs xxx

Hi ladies, just a quickie I'll do a proper post later.

Just to Angel, I know plenty of people who have the M&P pliko pammette and I've not heard them say anything bad about it. Anyway my reason for posting is I heard on another board that there is a brand called Peg Perego which is basically exactly the same as M&P but its what they are called abroad. If you're willing to buy from abroad and get it shipped you can save a considerable amount of money. I've checked their website and all the stuff is identical its literally the brand name thats different and thats it.

Well.. i dont know about everywhere else but its a beautiful day here today!! we got the rain yesterday afternoon, so its prob moved on to you pobs! where abouts are you?

Just wanted to say thanks to pobs and kate for that on the pilko.. I dont want to get another pram but after loads of people saying they had probs with the m&p stuff and that should anything happen you are basically in the sh*t i didn't want to chance it.. but i really do love that pram! and its the right height,.. ive changed my mind about the polka one, and it is the check one i like now, but i dont think they do it anymore and if the one ive seen on the clearance site goes i will be really upset as its the right colour and its £100 cheaper.. so we will have to wait and see what happens!

pobs... I know, about how quick its going.. someone asked me yesterday how long i had left and i said 18 weeks.. then i shouted "NO..! its not, its 16 weeks!!!"
Ive lost 2 weeks somewhere! omg, i'll be 25 weeks at the end of this week Eeker

Right off to check out that ikea website now then! i think our nearest store is warrington..so dont see myself traipsing up there unless there is a real bargin..although i have heard they do the slot together cot which i think is a great idea..

enjoy the rest of the weekend ladies, and for those of you who watch... ITS LOST DAY AGAIN!! Woo-hoo!!

Angel I know the one you mean, is it boston check? anyway have you tried glasgow pram centre, I got my travel system from there last time and the delivery was free and I saved £80. They defo have the M&P in the 2 in 1 section for about £270, not sure if they have the fabric you want though.

Yeah looking forward to lost, it was good last week. Dancing on ice final first though!!!

Babyno5 I've been meaning to say hello for ages, you must think I'm so rude. Anyway I'm really really sorry for your losses, it must be very hard for you so sending you lots of cyber hugs. I've heard about the cervical stitch so hopefully it ill do the trick for you.

Ben is much better thanks, hasn't been sick since Thurs and has his appetite back, so much that he wants to eat everything in sight. He's been whining all day asking for biscuits its been drinig us mad. Plus for some reason he was up at 5.30, he usually doesn't get up til after 7 so DH got up with him so I could sleep in, he's knackered now bless him! DH that is!!!

Hi Kate..
Yes it is boston check.. i think that is better for a boy than spots!! I'd have stuck with that one for a girl i think! Just keeping my fingers crossed now that the clearance site will still have it in 6 weeks when my grant comes through (the £500 lump sum one.. as we get tax credits..) If not i will have to splash out on the city scape(dark denim one)
I just know if i dont get it i will regret it forever!!

How about lost last night then.. i wish they wouldn't keep throwing those stupidly annoying twists at the end in.. Sun and Jin??? whats that all about then? is he dead or what? Grrrrr, i winds me up.
And aswell, it said penultimate episode.. does that mean we are going to end up waiting months again to find out whats going on?? hope not.

well this is just a quickie, will be back later to catch up better, as tea is just about ready.. chicken pie and veggies!! Mmmmmmm.

Hi everyone. Big Grin
Brilliant weekend but didn't want to go back to work today thats for sure.
It's a short week tough cause of good friday so that ok.

Angel- Missed Lost last night, too tired but we taped it for tonight so don't worry.
I'm getting the dinner on then we are watching it. Smiler
What is it with your kids and their privates! Eeker

Pobs- Oh my god will the scans never end i can't believe you are having another.
Our babies are so naughty keep playing up like this or they are exhibitionists that like the attention! Roll Eyes
I can't wait to put my pictures up aswell still waiting on dh's friend to put them on for us!
I might just put a few on in the meantime of me and dh so people can put a face to a name.
Oh and i love the name Scarlett reminds me of Gone with the wind. Classic!

Kirsten- The good thing about feeling movement is that you know all is well the problem is if they are quite for abit.
I feel movement every day now and i think i would worry too if i didn't.

Babyno5- Kian is another one we agree on so it's a contender!
So it's looking like Ciaran or Kian at the moment.
Dh doesn't like it with a K in Ciaran so we have compromised.
We want to come up with some more names though so not everybody knows the final choice.

Anyway we popped to Southampton before we got the ferry over to the Isle of Wight on friday and i made a discovery.
A place called Pumpkin Patch it was lush. Big Grin
They had a sale so we splashed out on some clothes.
2 summer baby grows, a t-shirt and some booties.
I really must some practical stuff soon but i keep seeing cute boy clothes!
Hope everyone else is well and i'll be back on in a day or two to catch up.
Lots of love.

Sorry i didn't get back on to do personals lastnight but i am in a lot of pain, not sleeping very well, and feeling really down at the moment..(only money probs and boring stuff)
feel like i have made huge mistakes in life and now i am paying for it all, so tomorrow i am taking my car to a garage up the road where i am p/xing for an old banger and cash to pay my debts.. sooo gutted as i love my car but like i said to Dh, i'd rather sell it and pay things off and have an older car than have this baby born into a load of mess and me being a state because i am stressing over bills.. i wont be no good to anyone like that, so at the end of the day i have come to realise.. Its just a car, and there will be others!
Trying not to think about it so i will stop moaning now!

The baby bouncer/rocker chair arrived yesterday, omg its really flash! I never had anything like that with the others, i'm scared to touch it!- so i put it together just to make sure it was all ok, and then put it away in box and thought, next time i get it out baby will be here!

well, thats about it as i am in agony and cant sit here much longer, think i will have to phone midwife tomorrow.. I know its only the SPD but its started a lot sooner and worse this time, so maybe they will get me a support belt or something..

night-night everyone,
sorry i only came on to moan, but we all have those days..dont we??

Hi girlies.
Day off today and i'm havig a nice relax. Big Grin
Apart from getting all the washing done then the hoovering but now i can relax!

Angel- I'm sure all your money worries will sort themselves out but try not to get down about it. Frowner
Some days i feel abit down and i think what the hell have i got to feel down for i'm having a baby but i think hormones are a pain in the ass they make things not so easy to deal with.
What is spd by the way?

This jul/aug thread is getting a bit sparse girls we are not talking enough.
Anyway i keep getting that dead leg thing and it's really annoying my midwife said it is normal to get abit uncomfy in bed. Frowner
I wake up about 3 times a night to use the loo and my side i have slept on is painful and takes a while to feel better again. Almost like pins and needles.
On another note i think my boobs are getting bigger again! Eeker
I have changed to a 32ff and it leaves markes on my jugs by the end of the day but i'm scared to go get measured!
I think i am carrying my baby in my boobs cause my bump is still quite small!

Where is everyone then?

Hi Amy..
I know i should be sooo happy, but its hard to enjoy something when you feel so pooey..
I have the same when i wake for loo in night, its horrid to get up and walk and i feel like an old woman walking to bathroom!! all the side ive been laid on hurts so much, even my arm nd hand because i put that under my head IYKWIM!!

Lol at you saying that about my bump pics!! It feels bigger and i am sure it is in real life!! Dh held arond me this morning from behind and said(with a painful look on his face)"I think its gonna be a 9 and a half pounder babe.. what do you reckon?" I spun round so fast i nearly gave my self whiplash!! I just replied with a not impressed look on my face and said "THANKS.." End of conversation!

I agree this thread has bursts of activity.. compared to the other threads we are not a very talkative bunch are we?

I was talking to a friend of mine due a day before me and her other child is 11 so she was asking me if its normal to feel all the kicks really low down as she cant remember from last time, and i said i feel lots of mine down there! which i have never had before..(shes having a boy aswell!) and my other friend who is 2-3 weeks behind me hasn't felt anything yet and her belly is totally flat!! she said she doesnt even feel pg!(boy aswell!) so maybe we do carry boys differently!??
Its almost like a twitchy feeling, but different to hiccups! I KNOW when he has hiccups, my whole body goes!!
AND, yes, i have to say, i still get crampy aswell Amy, it scares me too, i feel cramps in my thighs like i get with AF, and it takes a few seconds to register that its not AF...i am pg.. strange.
Hmmmm, what else??? Roll Eyes
Still cant decide on a middle name, we are going to call him Mason i think, but not many people like it so i'd like to have another couple of stand by names, I like Bailey. Dh doesn't, and Jack!! But with our surname i dont like its very good choice!!

Still waiting for Dh to get home, he went to Birmingham at 11 this morning to pick up a new taxi- 7 seater!! brandnew! so when i phoned at 6 to see where he was he said he'd be an hour, just phoned him again now and he is still only in Betws-y-coed.. which is still a fair bit away.. anyway he should be home soon- hopefully.

well kids are still up so gonna get them up to bed now, cant have them wait up for Dh as they are over tired already, last day at school tomorrow, poor Ds says he is winning the easter raffle!! so he will be disappointed if he dont get it!

back soon..
Emma. x
