Hi Jess, great that you could pop on, even if its just a flying visit, Lol!! Its hard work getting time when you got other kids about aswell!! I will update the chart and put your date on it hun! I felt movements earlier with no.3 aswell, this one is a lazy bones which is convincing me more that its a boy!! Well i couldn't wait any longer and ive just ordered a pair of maternity jeans from topshop..34"leg so hope they fit ok, i'm just too desperate now,..whether i am skint or not.. The bills will still be there next week! I will just have to get on ebay and sell some stuff to make the money back! Well thats all from me today..may pop on later tonight when kids are in bed, my mum brought Dd back today so its back to bedlam!! Last night Dd was sick all over the bed and floor of the cottage they have been staying in so my mum is sooo not impressed that she spent all night cleaning up one of my kids sick... at least i didn't have to do it!! My mum is going back home tomorrow morning so i won't see her now until after i've had the baby... it's always a bit of an up and down day when she goes but i'll be ok!! I'm getting used to it now! I still feel like a little kid being left on her own by her mummy, but i have to get on and remember i am a big girl now!!! TTFN, Emma. x

Hi all, Just a quickie - im at work! Not felt any movement again from the baby - and i thikn ive worked out why. My placenta is 'anteria' or something like that, which means its at the front and can cushion any kicks and punches, so im a little less worried now! Ive booked a private scan for tomorrow, so i can make sure that i amr eally having a girl for sure, as i have already bonded with her and feel if i was to find out at 28 weeks Grace was a boy i would be devastated. Will still be gutted tomorrow if they tell me she is a boy as i feel i have really bonded with her already and now feel that i couldnt get used to a boy, im really scared about that now. Im also scared that if it is a boy i wont love it as much as a girl and even feel that i might get some kind of depression, sorry if that sounds really really awful, but thats just how i feel, and i needed to tell somebody. Please, everybody think pink for me hehe. But if it does turn out to be a boy, i have lots of time to bond with him until he is born. Hope everyone else is ok, Lots of love Kirsten xx

Hi Kirsten.. Ive heard that about the placenta position making the movements feel less.. weird isnt it.. Ive had a quiet day off baby today aswell, mabe its Beanie holiday!!! Lol.. Well i gotta go sit with Dd as she is not feeling well, (not the one that was sick either..) so they are all prob gonna come down with something just in time to go back to school monday.. Fantastic! My mum has gone home now aswell, she was so shattered after cleaning the mess up lastnight that shes gone a day early, she said she just wants her own bed and not get up in the morning!!! I dont blame her really! Emma. x

Hi girls. I have had as lovely week 2 really nice meals and i'm up my mum and dad's now about to watch the Lost that Dh taped for me because i fell asleep! Angel- I have Sawyer on tape to watch over and over if i wish. I wish he had a little name for me! I could be freckles i've got more than she has anyway. I tried on the maternity trousers and the size 10 were perfect but i think that i am tall like you(5'8) and i like really long trousers so i also like the 34" ones. 33" would be better but you can always take them up abit. (or get mum to do it cause i'm shit at sewing) Kirsten- It's really nice seeing its a girl on the chart i can't believe we are at this stage already. Grace is a lovely name aswell by the way. Sezzy- Yes i know i am sad about my maternity trousers and i'll probably be sick of them soon but for now i love them, complete with kangaroo pouch! Jessley- I'm pretty sure that we are going to find out it's too tempting and i would love to know what is in there. ualreadyknow- I have read aswell that you should have put on 5-10 pounds at my stage and i have only put on 2. Everyone is different i suppose but i think that it is naughty of them to say that you should have put on so much. No wonder people put on loads of weight if they read that they can put on so much. But it will be harder to lose at the end the more you put on, and somehow i need to get into a bridesmaid dress 3 weeks after my due date so i am keeping an eye on it. Anyway my boss had her 4d scan done on weds and i saw the dvd yesterday and it was amazing! You could see her baby covering up her face and holding her nose! You get a 10 min dvd and 6 black and white photos and 6 coulour photos. They check everything and tell you the sex for sure. So she asked how soon it would need booking if i wanted to do it and they said asap because it is so popular. Dh definately wants it so we are going to go for it and book it for when i am about 28-30 weeks. I'm shopping with my mum again tomorrow in Bristol as my dad and sis are watching the rugby we thought we would get a lift up and have a look around and get a bit of lunch. I could do with 1 more pair of maternity work trousers for now but long ones. Speak to you soon. Amy.xxxxxxxxx Me- 28 DH-26 Ciaran Jacob was born Thursday 10th July at 10.38am. Weighing 7lb2oz.

Hello everyone.. Well i've had one hell of a weekend- still am, When Dd was with my mum she was wearing stupid plastic play shoes which gave her a blister.. i thought nothing of it, but when she was complaining of sore legs and had temperature friday evening i thought nothing of it..then i saw her foot on saturday morning, OMG her blister was really badly infected and she was in a real state, ended up in casualty saturday morning. But because she wont take any meds orally he just gave her a cream for it, which is (i think) working very slowly.. Last night had to phone NHS direct as she was covered in a rash and her eyes were all bloodshot, the Dr rang me back saying it sounds like septisemia and she need intra-venus antibiotics, Dear lord.. Ive watched over her like a hawk all night and i am completley exhausted.. I couldn't take her in as Dh was working and nobody to watch kids for me.. she cant walk and i cant carry her, i feel so useless, i have to confess to giving her 2 piggy-backs so she could go up to toilet and for bed aswell, she is soooo heavy!! She is much better after sleeping all night and i am certainly following her when she goes tonight! It never rains in our house...IT POURS!! Anyyyyywaaaayyyyy... Baby been a bit on the quiet side last 2 days, Im sure it will make up for it soon though! Getting loads of braxton hicks- and craving oranges!(which i only crave with girls..Uh-oh ) Ualreadykno..Nice to 'read' you! dont worry about not gaining the weight it says you 'should' i didn't put on hardly anything with my 1st pg.. Those figures are only a guide line anyway. Amy...Glad you had a lovely week and are enjoying the new maternity togs I think when we wear maternity clothes it makes you realise that there is actually a baby growing in there, and kinda makes you feel even more proud or your ever expanding waistband!(for me anyway) I am waiting very patiently for my jeans, hope they arrive before wednesday then i can wear them for my scan! sad or what?! Ive just upgraded my sky package so i can now watch the discovery h&h channel!! Yay, but so far only had chance to watch 'who's the daddy' and 'Toddler training' (like i need reminding!!) well hello to everyone else hope you are all keeping well, Pobs, come back soon- we are missing you!!! I shall no doubt be back soon, Take care, Emma. x

Hi ladies, Just popping on for a quickie to say hi before the world's earliest night. Angel, nightmare about your DD - what a worry for you. Amy, let me know what shops you find in Bristol for maternity clothes if you don't mind. I'm in Cardiff which is ok but there's not loads and we have an office in Bristol so could do a bit of shopping there too. I need loads of stuff, I seem to have had a growth spurt since Wednesday. Loads of stuff doesn't fit now that fitted a few days ago. Kirstin, sure you'll be fine if it's a boy, after you get over the shock anyway, but I'm sure Grace is a Grace, if you see what I mean. Ualreadyno, cool that you're feeling stuff! Speak soon all x x

Hi girls. Had a mammoth shopping trip today so i'm running a nice hot bath to relax in now. Tried on some more maternity trousers cause i wanted 1 more pair for work and i couldn't figure the damn things out. They had a secret clip thingy which tightens them to fit your bump but i could be damned if i could find it so they pissed me off and i decided not to bother. I'll be poping in to my home town on weds so i will get some then. Still getting abit of random sickness in the evening but i am so used to it now it doesn't bother me and tends to go once i've eaten. Angel- Hope your dd is getting better poor little thing! Is your scan on weds then? I need to know when to check this site out again! Sezzy- We went to cribs causeway in Bristol and was abit disappointed to be honest with the maternity wear. So having a look in my home town on weds. Why does maternity wear have to look so old fashioned. Just because you are pregnant doen't mean you want to lose all your dress sense does it! I could make something better out of a pair of curtains in some places. There is either really nice stuff or really shit stuff and not much choice cause eeveryone has different tastes too. Pobs- Hurry up and get on you must be near your scan date and we want to know what you are having! Anyway off for a nice long soak in the tub. Speak to you girls soon. Hi to everyone i didn't mention. Lots of love. Amy. xxxxxxxxxx Me- 28 DH-26 Ciaran Jacob was born Thursday 10th July at 10.38am. Weighing 7lb2oz.

Hi Amy, Yes my scan is 9.40 wednesday morning! I cant wait! The choice of maternity clothes is really bab i have to agree with you, I am watching a few things on ebay to be honest, but they dont go cheap, especially the topshop things, which, if you are after 'trendy' and not 'tenty' thats where you have to go, even New looks range is pretty old fashioned i think, or maybe thats just my branch, DP's not too bad, but i cant wait til i can wear 'normal' clothes again!! Ah, *dreaming* a real pair of jeans!! *sigh* Emma. x

Hi all, Well, i went for a 4d scan on saturday, this was amazing! And it was confirmed that Grace is definatley a little girl hehe, im delighted. The scan was so so good, we seen Grace drinking the fluid, wave at us, cover her face, she even gave us the fingers! I didnt think it would be sas good as it was as im only 20 weeks but it was amazing! We bought a cd rom which has 42 pics on and they printed 2 glossy pics off for us. We have real close-ups of her face, its really weird. I would definatley recomend them, we are going to go for another at 28 weeks! Still not felt any movement from Grace, but im not worried at all, ive seen shes very happy and healthy hehe. But cant wait to feel her kick now! Hope everyone is ok, lots of love kirsten xx

Hi, Kirsten i bet you are relieved to have it confirmed that Grace is a girl!! If you dont mind me asking where did you go and what company did you use? I am looking at babybond but its expensive for what you get, (well i think it is!) also does anyone know how much deposit, or if you do you pay deposit when booking a scan with babybond? I'd love one but i dont think funds will stretch at the moment so thought about leaving it longer and getting family to chip in for my birthday pressie!!! LOl!! gotta go, Time for tea!! TTFN, Emma. x
