Goodnight girls. Off to pluck my eyebrows then watch Lost at 9. Can't even be bothered to have a shower tonight i'll do it in the morning when i'm at my best. Love Amy. xxxxxx

Hello, hello!! Angel, Ughh sorry to hear about your headache, sure didnt help to be dragged all over the place. That is so gross that you mil is that way. I could barely finish reading you post about the hair in the mix.Ughh you poor thing.Okay, I cant think about it anymore, change of subject.I love that pic of your belly and one of your kids is looking up from under it.That is so cute! People at work are starting to know Im pregnant now. Everyone asks me if Im having twins or if Im sure how far along I am. Im dreading how big Im going to get!!!
Kirsten, oh that is so exciting!! Do you want a boy or girl? Im not sure why you cant use that doppler that much. I want one so bad! But it would be too tempting to use it all the time. Good luck with your scan!
Amy, how exciting! You must feel like such a proud mommy already.I love telling people. I cant wait to get to the stage that people can determine Im pregnant by looking at me. Now I feel like I just look fat.
Kate, I hope you get your energy back soon. I am right there with you, I cant imagine chasing after a toddler on top of it.
Well, I am so glad to be eating again. That is definetly a blessing. Ive found that it is best for me to eat every few hours to keep the nausea down. So that plus the meds is helping so much. The weakness and passing out is still the same though.Ive given up on driving long distances for fear of passing out while driving. Going to go to a different doc hopefully this week, I just dont think my doc is taking this seriously, with the condition I have it is very possible to lose the baby or have a stillborn. I took my mom to my last app. to get her thoughts. And she agreed I need to find someone else, so at least I know it isnt me being hormonal. But besides that everything is going very well. Tmi- but has anyone had leaky bbs so far? Last night I was sitting in bed eating and some milky stuff came out. Well to say the least it freaked me out because I wasnt expecting that for a few more months. Well Ive got to get back to work! Have a great night
Hey all, long time no post, after working all last weekend on top of the usual Mon-Fri, last week was all about survival and getting to Friday. Doing 12 days, and long days at that, suddenly isn't as possible as it used to be before I was pregnant. I'm not sure how I'm gonna cope when I have to go back to work but we really need my money as I earn more than DH. He does his job for love not money and we'll never pay the bills on that!! Anyway, enough wingeing from me. I'm not going back to work for ages after the baby's born, I'm going for the full 12 months then the 13 weeks parental leave, plus some annual leave so I'll be off for ages. My place might work me hard but they also have a decent maternity policy! Then DH is going to step in and have his parental leave for 13 weeks. After that, who knows?
Is it just me that's counting the weeks till they go off on maternity??!! Sorry for my enormous rant there, feel better now though!!
YOu've all been busy on here and everyone sounds like they've come out of the nasty old sickness/tired phase at last.
Meadow, I haven't had the leaky BBs but I heard it could happen from about now - I reckon I'll freak out a bit the first time I see it but I'm also intrigued too!
Amy, it's really cool to hear you so upbeat and over that nightmare, great about the heartbeat and lol at your forgetting the urine and your notes. Are you meant to take urine yourself? What do you put it in, Tupperware??? I'm going to see the m/w on Thursday and didn't realise I'd have to take in my own sample!
Interesting about your predictions too. Funnily enough, I think I'm having a boy too, so you might be on to something there!! Can you copy that thread and re-post it every now and again, so we can see how spot on you were when everyone gets their scans/gives birth? I'm not finding out at my scan so we'll have to wait till 1 August to see if you were right about me!
Angel, you poor thing with you MIL, she sounds awful, I'd ban my kids from going over there too no question. I couldn't read the cat fluff story either, yuck! I love the tape measure by the PC idea, I'm forever trying to work out what 3", 4" is etc. If I ask DH, he at least doubles it - you know what men are like when they estimate inches - LOL! hope you feel better after your head/nosebleed day on Friday. Sounds awful and with your tribe to look after it's not like you can have a lie down is it?
KAte, YAY!! for being in second trimester, it feels great doesn't it>?! How's the tiredness now, last of the symptoms gone?
Kirstin, did you find out why you can't use the doppler that often? And have you felt anythin yet? I think I felt one kick (more of a firm flutter) the other night, but nothing since. Might have been wind ha ha!
Hope I remembered everyone and sorry if not - I'm forever leaving it ages then having loads of pages to catch up on!
I have a bump question (to go with my urine sample question of earlier LOL!!) Has anyone ever thought their bump has got smaller? I thought mine looked a bit smaller on Wednesday, didn' say anything to DH, but he said the same thing to me Thursday. It defo looked smaller, sort of more defined though. I've been eating like mad ever since to make it look bigger LOL!! Gonna check with m/w Thurs but just wondered if this was normal?
Aaanyway, think I've probably hogged the thread for long enough now! Will try and not leave it so long next time! Have good weeks all x x x
Ladies, for those of you who've had the triple test how long did the results take?
I'm getting increasingly anxious about mine (due to my poor blood result with the nuchal scan). I can have it anytime from next monday and its a drop in clinic so I'll be there first thing!!! I'm having the integrated test which combines the triple test with the nuchal rsult and blood test I've already had, its 90% accurate but it still a screening test and not diagnostic. I just want confirmation that this pregnancy is low risk, I'm finding it hard to bond with this pregnancy if that makes sense

Got my scan tomorrow, wahoooooo!! Im soo excited, i cant wait any longer, i hope the little bugger hasnt got his/her legs crossed though!
katew - i had my triple test a few weeks ago now, the results take around 7-10 days to come back, however, at my docs, if your low risk they dont tell you till your scan - i havent heard anything so hopefully that means im low risk, i was really really worried about my results to as i had a brother with spina bifida and fluid on the brains who sadly passed away when my mum was 34weeks. DOnt worry you iwll be fine.
Sezzywelshy - No not felt anythinf yet! Arrghhh, its driving me mad, im desperate to fell him/her, i just hope everything is ok, i have felt little movements and pops but unsure if this is wind or not hehe, but definatley no flutters! Cant believe how much mat leave your taking! You are so so lucky - i can only afford to take 6months paid and then 1 month unpaid - and my dp only gets 2 weeks! and we cant afford for him to take any unpaid!! its ashame for him hehe.
Amy - hope your prediction is right - im hoping for a little girl, as my mum and dad are split up and i am so so close to my mum and would love to have that relationship with my daughter that we have - but would still be very very happy with a boy dont get me wrong. I also think you will have a boy! oh and thanks, you have made me feel alot better about not feeling any kicking yet!
Meadow - im hoping for a girl -for the above reasons, but like a said, i would be made up with either, all my dp family are boys and all mine are girls, so his family are hoping for a girl and mine for a boy hehe. I just want to find out what im having so that if it is a boy i have time to bond with my blue bump hehe. Do you know what you want? Glad your sickness has eased up - you sound the same as me, i wasnt able to take a bath or shower without fainting! Its awful - i was then in hospital on a drip for 5 days as id lost 2 stone and was dehydrated, and they gave me anti-sickness tablets (a god-send or what!!?) That was a round 13 weeks and ive only been sick a couple of times since! Including this morning, yeyy!
My scan is at 4pm tomorrow (yes, i know, torture, waiting all day to find out!) i have had to book the day off work otherwise it would be the most longest and painful day ever! So i will be on to update you if i know whether i have a blue or pink bump, or if its being a bugger and i dont know!(most likely option) ha!
When is everyone elses scans?! Who else is going to find out, or have a surprise?
Lots of love, kirsten xx

Hello ladies, sorry ive been a bit AWOL recently but not feeling 100% myself at the mo and my mum is down so being running kids backwards and forwards to her holiday cottage sat and yesterday.. The pain that normally (for me) starts about 20 weeks has now kicked in...i have a really weak pelvis and was advised by my MW last time to think about another pg as its so bad.. (now i remember,) its weird how your brain completley misses out and makes you forget all the bad parts of pg.. Also my bladder is playing up..not an infection, its just that when the baby gets heavier it puts more pressure on down there which aggrevates the urethrocystocele that ive had with DS and DD.. oh gosh.. im moaning today!!
Amy...You are lucky with all the leave you get!! unfortunatley the salon i was in weren't as understanding and i got sacked which went to tribunral(sp) as unfair dissmisal for being pg, very naughty of them.. OMG you watch LOST aswell!! I am addicted to it, finding it a bit slow tho!! I just want answers..but dont we all, the hour just goes so quick!!
Kirsten...Good luck for tomorrow hope all goes well and you get to find out. Only one more week for me! I'm not that impatient this time! I'm quite enjoying this last week trying to guess!
Meadow...Dont worry about people saying about if you are sure with your dates and twins etc, ive had it all with last Dd.. and i'm a lot smaller with this one- all baby!! Dont know how coz i'm a little piggy! My MW said the size of your bump means nothing! look at the people who have had their baby and not known they were pg til it popped out!! Lol, that still baffles me, how could you not know? I usually have milk by now but no show this time!!! Hope i haven't dried up!! would be sooo gutted! I'm sure i will be soaked in the stuff sooner or later! lol..
Kate... Dont worry about your results, they would have got in touch by now if it was high risk, when did you get it done? they say 2 weeks for it to come bk, call your Mw if its stressing you, stress is not good for you now is it!!!
Sezzy...Ok, you need to either ask at reception fot a sample pot/tube or your MW will give you one at your appointment, i always get mine at booking in app, then she checks it and rinses it then you take it home and use it next time. I find it easier to do it before i leave in the morning (providing your app is in the AM!!) saves time and going loo when i get there. And with the shrinking bump issue.. yes i think about 15/16 i thought my bump had shrunk, but also when it moves higher/changes shape it can sometimes look smaller! weird! I think it depends on how bloated you are or if you have a lot of water on board! People are surprised when they feel my bump at how hard it is!! They expect it to be squishy..coz a lot are, but thats just me!
Pobs.. I know you are about somewhere..come back soon, we're all missing you hun.. x
Petal.. Thanks for popping on and letting us know! very much appreciated. Wowzers, cant believe you are 9 weeks already!
Anyone else get strong braxton hicks?? I get them from early on but i forget how scary they are and makes you think about what you got coming...soon!
I know somewhere i read about bumping up the blue or pink post that Amy has predicted.. i will stick it under the chart when i do it and then as we get our scans/babies, put the real result next to the prediction and see how close she was!! will be weird if all of them are right!!
Well im off to watch 'The fast and The furious tokyo drift' with Ds!..how exciting, not..
Angel, sorry you're feeling run down, hope you feel better soon. I've not had the triple test yet I'm going in next Monday (18th) which is the earliest I can have it.
Well I'm feeling run down too, have a stinking cold and didn't sleep at all well last night I was either waking cos I couldn't breathe or waking cos I needed the loo. So will be having an early night tonight and hoping both nostrils won't be blocked again.

He, he... Thanks Kate!!! Hope you and Amy both right!! I was all out front with 1st (DD), then all round with 2nd (Ds), all around again with 3rd (Dd) and front again with this one so i am well confused!! Oh well, only one more week to wait! then the guessing will be over..I really have no idea this time tho!
Just been to tesco today and bought scratch mits and a disney 'little roo' blanket, that i want baby wrapped in after the birth!!- after the lovely NHS towel they wrap them in thats all scratchy and hard!! Going to take my own lovely soft towel for them to use this time! so they better use it..dont want the 'property of north wales nhs trust' towel/sheet in my pictures! lol..
OK, I've changed the chart slightly hope nobody minds, instead of saying which number baby it is ive put US for ultra sound..only coz i couldn't fit scan date!! lol.. so when you find out your dates let me know then i can put it so we all know where we are!! also then, when we find out or if we want it to remain a surprise i will put that in to replace the appointment date once its been! Phew, nearly confused my self there...!
Emma. x
