Hi girls.
Floating on air after yesterday. Big Grin
Lovely heartbeat heard again! Big Grin
I didn't sleep a wink the night before and had nervous diarrhea yesterday morning. Roll Eyes
Forgot my urine sample and all my paperwork but i don't care cause i heard the heartbeat!
My midwife let me record it on my phone aswell so i could play it for all the grandparents to be so dh has saved that on the computer so we have it forever. Smiler

Found out i am o+ and that is a good one to be apparently.
She tested me for toxoplasmosis as i have 3 cats and it was fine but i could be suseptible but i think that everyone is.
So have to make sure that i keep clean after handling my fur babies! Frowner
I am going to invest in an antibacterial hand wash so i don't make my hands sore from keep washing them.

Angel- Please tell me your mil hasn't got 9 cats. I'm a cat lover but that's silly! Eeker

Is it just me and you posting then Angel where is everyone!
My sickness has definately eased now.
It's great i am eating really well and have not put on a pound i actually have some metabolism for a change as i normally have to be really careful what i eat.
Better keep an eye on it though cause i don't want it catching up on me.

Lots of love.

Amy - thrilled to see you so upbeat chick! What a fab idea to record the heartbeat on your mobile! I'm going to share that one with the mtb's on may/june thread!! Glad sickness is easing off now - and whop cares how much weight you put on - you're doing a very important job in there growing a little person - that takes lots of energy!!

Hope you have a 20 scan where you are and you are asking what you're having - I'm dying to know!!

Hi Amy..
Yes its looking like its just me and thee.. I think we have been abandoned by everyone else! Wink

Thats FANTABULOUS news about your antenatal app..you sound so thrilled! Smiler I am going to ask midwife if i can record my beanies HB aswell next time!! Then the kids can listen! I wonder if they will let me do a video on phone when i go for my scan...its my baby!! anyway how can they stop me from doing it!!!!! Cheaper than a babybond one eh??!
I know what you mean about watching weight when pg, i was cocky with my 2nd coz i never put extra weight on with 1st, so i ate forever, I can normally eat anything and it dont touch me, ive always struggled to put weight on and always been underweight until i had Dd (no3) but i have to say me metabolism disappears when pg now and it goes on my Arse, hips, and belly!! I wish i would go on my b00bies as well!! But to be honest i dont care really coz at the end of the day we're growing a baby like Ever says!!
Yes my MIL has 9 cats, last count anyway!!!
She doesnt look after them.. or their mess, and when she comes to our house or in the car it wreaks.. not nice and when we tell her she laughs, Dh gets really upset when i go on about it coz he knows its bad..
We have 1 cat, (one of her cats kittens) and thats enough for me.. I have another cat (Tammy) that i left at my dads when i moved out but its with his ex now!! I still see her when i go over there, she is 15 now and she still remembers me! I got her and her sister from the RSPCA rescue centre when she was 8 weeks old and ive moved 4 times with her, but when i met Dh i was in a bedsit and had to leave her behind!! I still miss her, she been through a lot with me.. i will shut up now coz i sound sooo sad!
The cat we have now is called Double-Diamond..we call him Double-D. He is a nasty cat tho and not at all cuddley, his mother is wild and a real psyco!
So i think he will be going when the baby arrives..

Ive been car hunting today, trying to get garages to p/x with me but the only thing we could find was a p reg Ford galaxy and it was ming-a-linging.. i said to Dh i would never put the older kids in it let alone a new baby, so i am still stuck with my juice guzzling focus, booooo... Frowner

I think i will have to go to Dr's tomorrow because my lady garden dont feel happy..think its a bit of infection starting, which i always get about this stage of pg, also with having a dodgy bladder it dont help... so will have to seeRed Face
Anyone else bought anything yet?
Once ive had my scan going to get my moses basket i think, ive decided to get the same one as i had for Last Dd, it half the price of the one i would really like but hey,..beggers cant be choosers, its a clair de lune in argos, and a rocking stand, had the rocking one last time aswell, and i swear it helped at settling her!
Well, ive rambled on enough here so i'll go stalk some other threads..as usual!

Just woke up from a 2 hour sleep! What a lazy cow i am. Big Grin
So i'll see later if i can stay up any longer because of it but i doubt i will.

Ever- Thanks for checking up. Me and dh very tempted to find out sex of the baby but still don't know whether to or not. I have a very strong feeling that it is a boy but i might be wrong. Smiler

Angel- I can' believe she has 9 cats that's border lining crazy cat lady isn't it. Eeker
I would love loads but if you need that many you may aswell open a cattery and get paid to do it.
The midwife really made a big deal of washing my hands after handling the cats and she is only looking out for me and the baby but it is going to be very hard as my cats are very cuddly and loving. Smiler
That's why i am getting the antibacterial stuff cause washing my hands after every cuddle is silly. I'll permenantly be at the basin! Mad
It's a difficult one with the nasty cat you have to think that it may do some damage to a little baby.
Sounds like it would be an ideal farm cat though.
Careful about the mil if she doesn't keep her cats clean around you.
Sounds horrible but i would wash my hands when she leaves.
She should be a bit more clean than that it is abit gross anyway isn't it?
Hope you get the infection sorted out tomorrow. Roll Eyes

Well i'm working for the next 2 days so i will probably be on at the weekend to catch up.
Hopefully pobs will have posted by then!
I can't believe that i'm 16 weeks tomorrow!
Does anyone else go on the web to see what is happening with their baby each week.
The 'iampregnant' one is really good.
Lots of love.

Hi Amy.. Yes it is very gross, I have OCD so i wash my hands religiously, i dont go to her house, i dont let the kids go there and when she has been here i mop the floor as soon as she has gone.. If she brings things here..(usually food) it goes straight in bin. I said to Dh on pancake day, "remember when your mam brought us homemade pancake mix and it had a lump of cat fluff in it...." OMG i almost hurled thinking about it..
She rarely comes here and if she does its a 2 minute thing..I must sound like a real b*tch, but everyone who knows her thinks the same way so its not just me...
With the cats its just when changing their trays with poop in that you need to be careful, the (toxoplasmosis lives in faeces).
I stoke ours and its fine if its just the fur!! But (TMI COMING UP...)if i think our cat has rubbed its bum on my arm when its wrapped its self around me..(rare occasion!)or something like that i am instantly in the sink...
Watch out if you are using that antibacterial hand sanitizer that dries on your hands..I use it because of my job, and my friend uses it constantly- it can really dry your skin out with the alcohol in it!! I read a review on it a month or so ago aswell and it actually isn't all that good! They did tests on how long it killed all the bacteria for and it was really surprising, imperial leather soap and hot water then towel dried actually won!! But... its your choice!
Well hope you enjoy your next 2 days at work..NOT.
Catch up soon, And happy 16 weeks for tomorrow! *In American accent* YOU GO GIRL!!!

eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Fur in the pancake mix that's gross!
When you have any animals you have to keep clean and hoover much more regularly.
It can't be very healthy for her to live in that either!
I'll have a look for the ph balanced hand stuff and see what they have got.
They must do something that pregnant women can use or even stuff that's safe for babies.
I have just been and googled 'baby bellies at 16 weeks' and they all look massive!
But i suppose that everyone is different.
I am usually a size 10 but used to be a 16 so i have got size 12 clothes that i am wearing at the mo which i have plenty of room in still.
I reakon i might suddenly have a spurt but it means that i don't have to tell every single person who's hair that i do so i can keep it my little secret for a bit longer.
All the people that i care about know and that's what matters.
x

Evening ladies, sorry I haven't been on much I am just soooo tired, I don't remember being tired for this long with DS, I guess I didn't have a toddler to run after then.

Angel, your mil sounds a right 'character'! We have a cat, I'm the same as you, DH does the litter tray but I don't worry too much if I've just been stroking her. I'm with you on the dry hands too, as DS was in NICU and special care for 2 weeks when he was born I got a bit obsessive with washing hands and bought alcohol hand rub for home, I made all the family use it when they came to visit. Then with a baby you wash your hands so much more, after nappies, before feeds etc and my hands have never recovered. I find the vasceline SOS is fab. God I rambled a bit there lol.

Amy, can't believe you are nearly 16 weeks, seems like yesterday you were 8 weeks and really suffering with those scary bleeds. Glad it all seems to have eased for you, and glad you got to hear the hb again. I'm definitely finding out the sex at my 20 week scan, thats if baby cooperates. We found out with DS and personally it really helped me bon with my unborn boy. Oh nearly forgot I saw your prediction about me having a girl, I'm thinking and hoping too. You should put that list on the msn site and see if you were right come July/August!

Anyway, not much to report from me, still no bump appearing, again I'm sure I started to show early with DS, I guess I still have a bit of a baby belly from last time hiding it. Feeling fine apart from being tired (yawning as I type!), will be safely in the 2nd trimester tomorrow.

Think I might trundle off to bed and watch trial and retribution under the duvet. Hope everybody else is doing well x x

Hi y'all..
God i feellike sh*te today.. Fell asleep downstairs watching CSI lastnight (as usual..)
and woke up at 12.30 when Dh got in, had a bit of a headache but tried not to wake up too much...baby woke me up at 6.40am sitting on my bladder so went loo, OMG i had the biggest headache going, tried to go back to sleep but as usual just nodding off when my alarm went off at 7.15!!!! Took 2 paracetamol when i went downstairs but it only took the edge off it, still got it now..
So i decided to clean my car and hoover it, clean inside etc while Dd was in nursery.. wited 45 mins for the hoover because the bl00dy deliver van parked right in front of it so was not happy at all..(am i ranting??!)
Anywayyyyy, got Dd from nursery at 11 and decided to take her to MaccyD's for dinner, Mobile goes just as i get her in car, Dh wants me to go to the farm where he cleans Taxi's...which might i add is down a muddy track, When i get there he said he only wanted to wash the car!!!!! Mad I said "what do you think ive been doing all morning???" He thickly replies, "oh, you did it, ok, you can go.."
AAAAArrrrgggghhhhhh, what is the point???
so because i was fuming my headache starts pounding by the time i am back on the main road feels like my head is going to pop..and had a funny taste in my mouth, drove through town and to petrol stn, looked in mirror before i got out, as i do always, just to check i still look as shit as i did when i woke up- and was horrified to see black blood trickling from my nose... then my headache went for about an hour! weird, i am one serious pressure cooker ready to EXPLODE! Eeker
So took Dd for dinner, went to see my dad for an hour then came home and went to bed til Dh went to work at 4.00, Feel bit better now though must say.
(God thats a real me post, sorry)

Amy...It certainly is disgusing! and she is always ill, chest, cough and wot-not, AND she is diabetic, one day we all went there when she was in work and gutted the place, Dh and BIL put laminate and new skirting down, chucked all her junk out and bleached everywhere..only coz one of the kittens had just had kittens and they all had bad eyes, she was really hacked off coz i took the mother and kittens from there and sorted thier eyes in the vets, then kefp them with me til they were better...then one disappeared, we think the mother took it outside and hid it and it got taken by a Tom or summat, but MIL was so smug saying "see, not as easy as you think is it?? you silly little girl" then her dog died the next day, we fell out for a bit over it, and she took them all back after the mother attacked Dd and put holes in her head (bit her).
God, animals are more hassle than kids..
I only started to show a few weeks ago so dont worry, i said to my Bf, i'll be in mat clothes by 5 weeks, because i was last time and worried til my scan because i was so big everyone thought i was having twins.. but its weird, its true what they say, every pg is different even in the same person! I didn't really show til i was 5 months with My first so you are prob about right! I has a sudden growth spurt about 15/16 weeks this time as you can see from my MSN pics!! strting to look and feel like a bit of an Oompa-loompa now tho lol!!
I look at those galleries of pg ladies and think OMG, i am gonna be huge again, it so hard to walk..and its gonna be summer, please dont let it be a heatwave!! I struggle to get up off floor now if i sit down to do something! you take it for granted when you can just whip about everywhere!
So you do hair?? Are you a hairdresser then? i used to be lol! but then went into beauty therapy, then a nail technician! I dont miss hair one bit, and hate doing the girls' hair for school..its so easy with boys..quick no.2 all over, no screaming in the mornings, knots, Nits..bluegh.... horrid things!! so another boy will do just nicely thankyou!!

kirsten...I dont know about the doppler usage thing, i dont have any experience with them,, and if i did have one i'd be using it 24/7!!! Lol.. Wink
Dont worry about not feeling movements, my friend is due a few days before me and its her 2nd, had her last one 11 years ago and she was saying yesterday she hasn't felt anything yet.
Not long til scan day now...ooooh, exciting!!
Lets see if Amy's 1st prediction is right!!

Kate...God your tiredness is really dragging now isnt it, hope it lifts soon and you get a sudden burst of energy!!! I dont know if its all down to having another little one or not, maybe i was just luck and escaped the tierdness with my 2nd, Dd was only 10 months when i got pg on Ds, but like i said, every pg is different!!

well, ive done a huge post and gone on and on, so you have prob all fallen asleep!!
Has anyone decided how they are going to feed beanie when it arrives? I know its personal choice but all the people who i know that ive talked to are really embarrassed when i say proudly that i will be breast feeding.. i dont know why, ITS FREE!!! I person thats having her 1st said she will see how she feels when she tries!
well i'm off to see if there are anymore BFP's over the road on 2WW!!!! I am such a stalker!

Hi to everyone else ive missed,
Pobs? where are you hun, getting a little concerned here, do let us know!!

Emma. x

Hi ladies! Big Grin
I've had a busy couple of days but have started to tell a few customers about the pregnancy now which is nice.
Still get abit of random sickness in the evening which is not so nice but i'm starting to think that it is when i get hungry or near to dinner time cause once i eat i feel much better. Smiler
Last night i felt really sick but it calmed down after a couple of hours.
At least i am not getting spots anymore. Mad
Hey maybe i might actually get that glowing stage that people say that you get in the second trimester.
I certainly haven't had it so far! Roll Eyes

Kate- i know it feels like forever ago when i had that scare i never would have thought that i would get this far.
But it is surprising now how many people have told me that they bled in pregnancy when i told them about it.
I think that people just don't talk about it but then you automatically think that it is bad news when it happens to you.
And i don't think that i will have to wait until jul/aug to see if my predictions are right as i suspect most will find out. Big Grin

Kirsten- Looks like you are the first to find out so i will logging on especially to find out.
And don't worry about the movement.
It can be anywhere up to 20 weeks with your first.
My mum said that i didn't kick until 20 weeks and as you know i am fine! Big Grin

Angel- I hate getting headaches i think that you get more when your preg don't you.
I never get them and i've had loads since bfp.
But i usually find it's when i haven't drank enough.
Yes i am a hairdresser. I really enjoy it. I work in a nice salon and they are quite flexible with hours which will be very handy after the baby is born.
I have also just got my assesor qualification so i train the apprentices so i am not just always doing hair and it makes my job quite interesting. Smiler
Also challenging! Eeker

Mummymich- Hiya! Thanks for the post i do pop over now and again and check on you girls but try not to cramp your style too much!
Only joking i'm just jealous that you actually have a sex life! Mad

Anyway i have had a baking day today. Big Grin
It's my dh's nan's 70th on tuesday so i have baked her a cake, so going to ice it now and fill it full of cream and jam. Eeker
Also have just finished peanut butter cookies for dh.
I know it says that you shouldn't eat peanuts but i just had a small one! Roll Eyes

I'm getting slightly worries about pobs now as she hasen't e-mailed either and if her computer is down for long she normally goes to use her dad's. Frowner
She is probably fine but i hope she posts soon.

Lots of love to everyone else on the jul/aug thread. Big Grin
How fast is it going!
Amy. xxxxxxxx
