Morning all,

Fair play, i'm feeling pretty rubbish today. Had a long two days in London, left home at 6am Tuesday and got home at 9pm yesterday. I've sold my lovely sports car and bought a cráppy banger to save money and it wouldn't unlock in the train station, and I was stood in the cold and rain for ages trying to sort it. To cap it all, I got home to find the house was disgusting, there was nothing in for tea and DH was sat in front of the footie with a lager, as usual. Needless to say DH and I had a screaming row which has left me feeling pretty low today, fair play.

Aaaanyway, 'nuff of my wingeing. Angel, hope your cold gets better soon, boo. It's a pain when you can't really take anything isn't it? Can't believe the response in TopShop! I'd take your custom elsewhere, except they do do nice jeans that are reasonable so I can see your dilemma... Why don't you try writing to the head office? I know Sir Philip Green is head of Arcadia Group which owns TopShop and he takes a pretty hands-on approach apparently. I once wrote in a strop to the CEO of Warehouse when I'd seen a coat I wanted in a magazine and had rung to order it (got a snotty response like you) and they sorted it out for me in days and gave me £25 off the coat too!

Kate, glad your scan was ok - 1:300 is above the risk factor of 1:250 and your consultant's not worried so you can breathe a sigh of relief!

hi to everyone else x x x

Hope not.

Kate..Glad you have had a goodish result from tests, i'm sure everything is fine if Dr not worried by anything,
Have changed you date on chart hun; but is your ticker still out by a few days?

Pobs...You are quiet hun, hope laptop hasn't gone on you...How are the kicks, mine seem to be coming back a bit now and had a good strong one this morning!!

Hi girls

lovely to see you all doing so well with bumps, I wish i were still with you but maybe soon eh! It does seem to have gone so fast. I am waiting for AF to arrive so we can begin but AF is late and I have sore boobs and feelings of tiredness and nausea. eeeekkkk. so we'll just wait and see. I am feeling great physically and mentally again and have done lots of reading on the lupus which I have which seems now to be the problem in holding onto the babys so I'm already taking baby aspirin and folic acid in readiness. Lots of love to you all and bumps.

Hi angel,

I was diagnosed with lupus about five years ago, it isn't too bad, just sun sensitivity, I have factor 60 on prescription and have to take anti malarial tablets in the warmer months else i get a rash. What I have learnt since is if you have the antibody in your blood it can cause recurrent miscarriages but it isn't always in your body and you don't know unless you have blood tests so I will have to have blood tests immediately as soon as i know and then go from there.

We are supposed to be getting snow here tomorrow, hope so, it always seems to miss Wiltshire.

Hey girls.
Still having the lovely evening sickness. Frowner
I felt so sick last night i went to bed at 8 but i had a good sleep until 7. Smiler
Still had to get up twice for a pee but at least i feel like i have actually slept abit.

Angel- I hope when you find out the sex you aren't keeping it a secret from the cyber preg friends too! Big Grin

Kate- Sounds like you had a very good scan to me. Big Grin

Sezzy- What a naughty dh not gettng your tea on! Mad

Anyway me and dh are having a nice day out together tomorrow as we are both off together and on a saturday which is unusual. Big Grin
Maybe wander round a nice little town get some lunch.
Then might go off to the cinema in the evening and get a pizza hut. (sickness permitting)
I am really feeling the tiredness though so it may just be an early night and a takeaway.
My dh is so patient i am a walking hormonal sleeping machine. Roll Eyes
Lots of love to everyone.

Morning ladies just a quickie from me,

hope your all ok,
i went for my appointment with my midwife last week and she scared the holy moly out of me,
she took my bloods and everything which was fine but when it came to hearing the baby's heartbeat she put the doppler on my tummy and left it in one place and kept it there for five minutes, when she couldnt hear anything she kept looking at the other nurse as if to say "can you hear anything"
well i was petrified until she moved to grab my notes and WHAM there it was,
i felt like i lost three stone in weight just letting out a breath i was so relieved.
its her job to know not to keep the doppler in one place surely??
anyway thats enough from me will pop back later for personals
take care
xx
