Hi girls.
Well i left a message with the community midwife yesterday and she got back to me today.
I phoned her back told her the long story and and phoned the hospital.
The lady that forgot to put my paperwork apologised and has arranged for me to go in tomorrow.
She is going to try and get the heartbeat with a doppler and if she can't then i will have my scan tomorrow.
So now i am ******** myself! Eeker
I was in a rant yesterday wanting to get my scan asap and now i am dreading it.
But at least i will know tomorrow if i have made the 12 week mark or not.
So wish me luck girls i am not going to sleep a wink tonight.

Pobs- Glas to see you posting and hopefully we will have both made it to the 12w mark.
The midwife that i spoke to today was brill so i have kept her phone number incase.

I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow hopefully i will be on cloud 9 the other outcome doesn't bear thinking about.
Lots of love.
From a very nervous Amy.xxxxxxxxxx

Good luck for tomorrow amy. You know since I had my bleed, I've been reading up on it alot and its happens alot more than you think, its just that you end up thinking well it must be coming from somewhere so wheres it coming from. I have a friend up the road who didn't know she was pregnant as she appeared to have normal periods all the way through and her son was treated as a groin strain for the first 8 months. How mad is that?

Angel, I have moved to the 2ww but I/m going to be watching you young lady. I'll answer on here if you want me.

Thanks Tra.
The bleed that i had sunday night defineatly coincides with what they found on the scan.
The scan showed a 5cm area that i may bleed from and too be honest that is pretty much what came out in the loo.
Sorry if tmi but it was about that size.
The bits i am getting now are the leftovers i think but you can never be too sure only tomorrow will tell.
Also it was very brown and the bleed was at my 10w scan which was nearly 2 weeks which would explain why it was brown and old.
But there is still that niggle that i think that something may be wrong.

But glad to hear from you and hope you and dh are doing ok.
Lots of love. Amy.xx

HI everyone ((((WAVES)))

So sorry I haven't been on for weeks. I had the winter vomiting bug then just as I got over that I came down with the flu, which stuck wiht me all over Christmas. So hard not taking anything, though I did feel so dreadful I took about 8 paracetamol in total.

Missed you all.

Tra, I am really, really sorry to have read what happened to you, it sounded so scary and I can't imagine how you have been feeling. I hope you get a sticky beanie again really soon and a completely trouble free 9 months after that.

Amy, glad you got your scan tomorrow - nearly at your 12 weeks - you go girl!

Angel - lol at your incredibly fast appearing bump

Hi to Pobs (yay! well past yr 12 weeks!), Mrs HEn and Liz.

Hi to everyone else, I've missed pages of posts and I've only got time to read a couple now butI'll catch up soon and do full personals then xxx

Hi girls.
Well i had my scan today and all is fine! Big Grin
Baby is measuring what it should be with a good strong heartbeat, thank god.
So it looks like i have made the milestone.
Also the lady found the heartbeat with a doppler to make sure that if i bleed again they can just use one of those to check on things.

There is darker area but it could either be another bleed or just still darker where i had the brown bleed 2 days ago which i think that it is that.
I think that i am just going to have to expect that i am going to have these bleeds which is fine if baby is ok.

So we are going to start telling people now and try and accept that it looks like all is going to be fine.
It was funny me and dh were more on cloud 9 when we listened to the heartbeat than in the scan room probably because we knew that everything was ok. Smiler

So needless to say that i am on cloud 9 and still can't believe that i have made it this far.
I never would have believed it considering that i had my first bleed at 5 weeks.
I have my first midwife apt for monday morning for bloods and weight check and all the things that i haven't done yet. Roll Eyes
She said that she will bring her doppler aswell so i get to hear the heartbeat again.

Sorry that people have been unwell these last few weeks and hope you are on the mend.
Lots of love.
A very relieved Amy. xxxxx
