Good morning. What a night. I am exhausted. The wind here was horrendous and I don't mean from me lol. Bria was in bed with me last night as hubby was away and we can't shut one of the bedroom windows as the sky lead is temporarily coming through it and although the window is quite stiff, it wrenched it open a couple of times and Bria was sleeping that half of the bed so I kept getting up to wrench it back shut so she wouldn't get a draught or too cold. ( she always wriggles out the bed covers and sleeps on the top) so I am knackered and off to see the doc this morning looking a picture of loveliness ha ha. I am going to have a shower in a mo to make me feel more alive. Appointment is at 10.20 so a bit of time to make myself presentable. I already feel as though my stomach is starting to come out. Didn't need to put maternity stuff on till I was around 5 months last time so different this time. I think its just the extra wind and IBS making me bloated but it gets uncomfortable to wear jeans as the day goes on.

Anyway hope you are all well and no gusty wind mishaps, couple of trees down round here. shall be counting the hours till hubby gets home safetly from up North.

speak later

Back from docs and a good visit. He is a great doctor and immediately said an early scan is a good idea so I had to go to the midwife unit to arrange it but noone was there and they won't be in till tuesday so I have rung the local maternity hospital and they are going to ring me back. Maybe I'll see baby before christmas, that would be fab. I told him I'm doing cheapie pg tests to check I am still pregnant and he wants me to relax and have peace of mind so I'm well chuffed, also they need to check the dates because I'm dating it from the last miscarriage but even if its wrong, it could only possibly be a week out.

Hi girls.
I'm biting the bullet and popping on tho say hi.
As you might know had a bit of a scare a couple of weeks ago when i had a gush of blood. Frowner
As i was only 5 weeks at the time i had a very long wait of 2 weeks to know if all was ok.
Had my scan yesterday and i saw the heartbeat. Big Grin
All is well for now the heartbeat is good and the sac is well formed apparently.
Could see the heartbeat more than the baby at the moment so that was quite reassuring.
She said that she could see where i had bled from and that i would probably get a bit more from there.
Which unfortuneatly i did a few hours later so now i'm back to worrying again even though she said i would get it it is still very scary after already having a miscarriage in april.

But i need to be positive and so i've done a ticker. Smiler
Still not convined that i will make the 12 weeks but hopefully i'll be proved wrong!
My due date will be 25th July hopefully.

Me and pobs have both had bleeds and have been very nervous about coming over so hopefully i'll try and get her to come on aswell as she has a scan on monday as she has had another bleed.(fingers crossed for her)
But i am very hopeful that she will join us too soon. Smiler

Hope everyone is well my tiredness and sickness is starting to kick in.
Also i am seriously bloated which is lovely as i'm sure you can imagine!

Lots of love.
Amy.x

Congrats amy, I'm so pleased for you and I know its easy to worry but try and remember what the lady said, she could see you might bleed a little more but keep in high spirits, I'm sure everything will be good. I go on the thought that if I've just had two miscarriages then the odds are better for this pregnancy. I never worried about my first three pregnancies as i had never suffered a miscarriage but since the one before Bria and now these two before this pregnancy, you do think about it an awful lot but I'm sure we'll both be fine.

Pobs - I hope to see you on here soon after your blips. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Lots of sticky glue being blown your way too.

Lisa, it is great news and I am so excited now. I think everyone should be entitled to a 12 week scan no matter where they live or cir****tance. Midwife told me on the phone that they do bloods earlier now than they used to so I get the down syndrome result back a little earlier and get that out of the way as well.

Understand that this is a busy time for everyone so hope to hear from you soon. Hope you are all well.

hey everyone :-)

i was on the july thread as i thought i was due 28th july but after a scan last thu they had me at 5weeks 5 days so im not sue till 1st august now :-)

I'll tell u a little about myself, im kirsty im 23 and my partner is 22, we already have a gorgeous 17 month old son and as i have pcos we were blessed to fall pregnant so quickly with our second baby,

i had cholestasis in my pregnancy with my son so i'll be monitored closely again.

i was saying on the other thread that when they did my scan and i was only 5w 5 days they could only see the sack and yolk. they said this was normal but i have did nothing but worry since because i couldnt see my baby, am i being silly??

got another scan in 2 weeks on 20th and that will hopefully reassure me.

has anyone else been in a similar situation??

hi all,

how are you all? doing good i hope.

me, i am ok. mostly all foods make me sick ugh nothing seems to be appetizing. morning (actualyl all day sickness) is awful. i read in a pregnancy book that the more morning sickness you get, the better implanted teh baby is so therefore much less chance of a miscarriage. had light brown discharge for 2 days, went away though. have been extremely irratated and things that i used to love about my BF now ANNOY me! lol hope that goes away soon.

kirstib84- about 2 weeks ago the same thing happened to me. they found the sack but couldn't see the baby yet because they said it was too early. i should be able to see it now though.

you know, when i sit and think about pregnancy, i keep thinking it's going by so slow and i can't wait for the baby to be born. but in reality it's actually going by pretty fast. last time i checked i was 5 weeks and somehow i am suddenly 8 weeks! (i get an email annoucining how many weeks i am). it's strange.

my clothes are already starting to get snug. it's uncomfortable to wear jeans. is it normal i'm already starting to look PG so early and it's my 1st?

well hope all you ladies are doing well. ttyl
